We didn't have breakfast, but the location is fantastic, a short walk into town.

Very clean and comfortable rooms and central location.
Specifically asked for 2 rooms next to each other months before stay and on arrival this had changed. If Bistro Lotte had told me we would have found alternative accommodation. Nobody notified me before, and it was very important for our group as there were 4 staying in one room and 1 in another. The request for the rooms next to each other was so we could use 2 bathrooms . The rooms were not even in the same building - you had to go out on the street to get to the other room to use the other bathroom which was ridiculous.
Not an apology made by management on arrival, just said it wouldn't be a problem! Very upset as this was a special birthday for me and I felt upset and responsible for mess up by Bistro Lotte.
Saying this the place is lovely and clean, but felt it was a money making place not caring about personal and individual needs. Asked for some compensation but no reply to my complaint

Room was lovely but excessive street noise kept us up all night (loud music and talking/laughing until at least 3.30am) and also meant we couldn’t open the window, so room was too hot as well as too noisy to sleep. A shame as room itself was nice and staff lovely.

It’s well situated to explore the town. There is a restaurant downstairs, good food and lovely atmosphere.

The accommodation at Bistro Lotte is at the restaurant and is very good. The restaurant itself is excellent with a very good and varied menu. Both the service and the staff were excellent and Lotte is great as the front of house presence. We would not hesitate to recommend both the restaurant and the accommodation.

Everything! it’s so tastefully decorated, super comfy beds, great shower, lovely coffee and tea selection, spotlessly clean, the staff are so nice, especially Lotte

The room was spotless, the bed was so comfortable and huge and the bathroom was clean. The staff greeted us and were really friendly, we were even allowed to park before check in.
There really are very few parking spaces available so do heed their advice as it is first come first served basis.

Great location, clean and tidy, and excellent supper in the Bistro.
Possibly a bit more choice between and beyond the fruit or savoury breakfasts options on offer although the limitation is understandable bearing in mind that the Bistro offers ambitious and excellent lunchtime and evening menus which all need preparation.

Now with teenagers, a family room of good size with 3 beds is essential. every where we wanted to go was within a short walking distance , although we are not so used to steep hills 😜.
the Wi-Fi was sketchy at best. We were directly above live entertainment on the Wednesday evening but it finished at 11pm promptly. Although we could hear it it’s wasn’t that bad and had I felt like it I could have slept through it.

Continental breakfast offering very good - coffee excellent. Staff very friendly and efficient. Evening meal in the Bistro was very good - we hadn't booked in advance but they made sure that as guests we had a table. The location was perfect for our needs and the room was relatively spacious. Lovely powerful and hot shower; comfortable bed.
Music from the bar below went on until 11:40 - the earplugs provided the next day should have been available on the first night. Parking was advertised as being available but the 3 allocated spaces were occupied all 3 days of our stay.

Bistro Lotte was a fantastic find . The room was really comfortable and spotless .
The restaurant has a very inviting french feel , with the most delicious menu and welcoming friendly staff , both at supper and breakfast.
We will definitely return .

Tremendous location, easy to find parking and a superb restaurant. a great stay. loved all the types of tea available in the room.
Rooms rather cramped, not enough places to put things but good wardrobe. Some noise from street.

Lovely hotel with a relaxed French style, the room was very comfortable and clean, the staff in hotel and restaurant were attentive. We also had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious.

Lovely atmosphere downstairs in the restaurant. Nice and comfortable room. Perfect location for a festive break in close proximity to some charming cobbled streets lined with independent shops.

Really comfy big bed, quiet and clean above lovely bistro. Perfect for getaway to to Frome. Free parking across the road.

The bedroom was beautifully decorated, comfortable and cosy bed and duvet, and all amenities needed: shampoo, conditioner, etc. The smell of the room was excellent, and so was the breakfast, tasty and delicious. The hotel is located at the end of the most beautiful street in the town. Lotte, the owner, was lovely.
We asked for a baby cot for our little one and the cot didn't have a mattress on top of the cot's hard base. So, we had to put some pillows as mattress for the baby.
Too many staircases and no lift.
