This is the perfect place to stay in Lisbon! The apartment was spotless and in such a convenient location. Everything we needed was there and Marcello’s communication was excellent. It’s in a bustling area but down a quiet street so wasn’t noisy in the evenings. I’d definitely stay here again and would 100% recommend it to anyone staying in Lisbon.

The unit was what it was described to be located in a lovely area. Lisbon is hilly and we knew we would have to deal with stairs but was very doable. The unit is in close proximity to public transit making getting around the city very easy. Overall we were very pleased with this property and would stay there again.

Loved Marcelo’s little gem in a great neighborhood. Walking distance to most places you need to visit in Lisbon. Communication is ver prompt and was pleasantly welcomed with a bottle of water and bow of fruits. Thanks Marcelo. The apartment by itself is a little on the smaller side. It’s ideal for 2 people. A little tight for more than 2. I would highly recommend staying at Marcello’s apartment if you are in Lisbon.

This was a great flat, and a fantastic part of Lisbon. We were so pleasantly surprised when right outside our front door and around the corner was amazing restaurants, bars, and sites of Lisbon. Very close to two metro stops and the start of famous tram 28 as well. The only daunting part is the stairs to get up to the apartment, which should be considered when traveling with luggage. We used the metro to get to the apartment and it was manageable with our carry-on, but with bigger luggage definitely take a taxi or Uber. If we ever return to Lisbon, I will certainly hope to stay here again.

When we started looking for places to stay in Lisbon, this apartment jumped out at us, and we were not disappointed. The location is amazing, with cafés and restaurants on the doorstep, and very close to everything. After staying for a week we really got to know the neighbourhood. Even though our apartment building was right on the square, our apartment was set back in the building and was very quiet. Our host Marcello left a very comprehensive brochure with loads of information which helped make our stay even more comfortable. We felt very much at home. Only a 5 minute walk from the apartment is a large supermarket Pingo Doce where you can buy everything you need. I have no hesitation in recommending this Airbnb!

We loved the location. Quiet place away from large crowds of Rossio Plaza, though close enough by metro or walking to all sites.

The location in the old district of Mouraria was absolutely delightful. Even the 89 steps from the lower street to get up to the courtyard of our building were no problem for us (ages 75 and 77). Everything important was within walking distance. The condo was small but tastefully decorated, well stocked and very clean. There are fans to drown out occasional Saturday night festivities. The owner, Marcello, is attentive and available. We loved the whole Lisbon experience and would recommend this condo to anyone who loves to explore interesting neighborhoods and see people of all cultures living in the same area.

A regular drip coffee maker would be nice as you can pick up coffee for it anywhere and it makes more cups of coffee at one time.

Marcelo is a very professional and thorough host. The check-in and check-out process was efficient and well thought-out. The flat is in an excellent location and the price is an amazing value. So many of the great neighborhoods are within walking distance and a bus station and two metro stations are very close. Amazing, restaurants, bars, and shopping are also on your doorstep. The flat itself is well equipped with anything you will need. Everything within the flat is working order. While the building is older (with lots of character), the flat is decorated in a stylish manner. The layout is very function, and feels bigger than its stated square footage. The bed and furnoture is very comfortable. I found Marcelo to be a very hospitable and helpful host. He is clearly someone who understands hospitality. He stands out among the hosts in the industry that are "just renting out their spare property". Thank you Marcelo for offering to mail me (at your own cost) the item I thought I left behind. I did end up finding it in my suitcase. I will stay at this VRBO anytime I am in Lisbon.

Stayed twice, a few days apart. Highly recommend for single/couple if steps not an issue. Easy access to most areas of tourist interest. Fast communication with owner.

Property was well maintained and located. Many restaurants nearby. Easy access to transportation. Had a very nice stay. Communication with Marcello was excellent.

Apartment is in a great location with a superb restaurant on the doorstep. Not suitable for elderly or infirm as lots of hills and steps. The owner was very accommodating letting us check out later and very efficient at communication.

Great base from which to explore Lisbon. Local restaurants off the tourist track. Peaceful apartment. Warm welcome with fruit basket, milk and coffee.

Marcello was very responsive to messages and requests. He left fruit, water and coffee for us and apartment was well equipped. We loved the location because it was easy to get major touristic places by foot.
