The B&B owners are very friendly and chatty, getting to know their guests. The B&B is a beautiful character property, with a lovely family dining room and lovely bathrooms. There is art on the walls, along with pieces from their travels. The help-yourself breakfast, with choice of cereals, toast, a selection of fruit and yoghurts, tea and coffee is just what you need. A great location, with the town centre a stroll away and Waitrose literally on the corner. The B&B was just what I needed for my time in Newbury. A lovely place to stay, thoroughly recommend it. Oh and there is a lovely cat too!

Varied and tasty breakfast including fruit both bananas,oranges etc and little pots of delicious fruit and yoghurts. Great dining room to eat in. All so spacious and clean, it was very relaxing.

Loved everything about Alma. It is a beautiful House with lovely hosts. I am staying there again!

Breakfast was fine, self service but plenty of choice and good coffee.

The guest house 5 minute walk into town ,my room was very spacious clean and had all the essentials and more,the bed once my head hit that pillow I was pushing out zzzzzzs. The place has been decorated with a lot of thought and love and needs to be seen to be appreciated.
