Our side of the mountain, for a short time, was beautiful. Accommodates were perfect for us.

My husband and I stayed at the cabin back in 2019 and absolutely loved it. It’s private and has amazing views of Cherry Pond as well as the mountain range. The front porch is a great place to relax at night or have a cup of coffee in the morning. We would highly recommend staying here as a place to unplug and unwind!

A nice house, a warm welcome to have no wifi and no tv for a couple of days. It really made you switch off and come to a good rest. The location is near Mt. Washington, The Flume Gorge and the Basin. Lots a hikes to make in the surroundings. The house itself was really clean and cosy and well maintained. Superb fallout base for a lot of activities and and a great place to get a good rest.

This cozy rustic cabin suited our needs well. It had everything we needed and the cool mountain air was wonderful to sleep in. We highly recommend this location.

Our family stayed in this sweet cabin for a few days of hiking. Sadly, the weather didn't agree with our plans, but our time in the cabin was just what we hoped it would be. It comfortably fit our family of 5 and we truly enjoyed the unplugged time.

Perfect for exploring White Mountains. Clean, bed was very comfortable, blankets and towels too. Was nicer than the pictures. Only downside are the ticks. Wish it was more cut back along paths. Enjoyed the fire pit area. Relaxing and shielded us from the rain. The path to it could use some more wooden boards to cross some runoff water. Very peaceful too. Really enjoyed the cabin and all it had to offer.

This cabin is very accurate to the description posted on VRBO. Ben was very quick with his communication both before and during our stay. Even though it is off the grid, there is plenty of electricity and hot water to feel well cared for - you are not roughing it in anyway. Lots to do in the outdoors in the immediate area. Screened in front porch was glorious with a great view. My only negative is that there is unfortunately some road noise due to the houses location near a busy road. The cabin is well off the road and you dont see anything but nature but you do hear the roadsounds during parts of the day. Great cabin in a great area at a very fair price - we would stay again.

Very very nice cabin with all you need and all you should not have from time to time, like WiFi and Tv. Complete kitchen,grill, shower and some light to read through the night.

The cabin was just as described. We loved how it was off the grid a bit. The porch has an awesome view even with the clouds (it was raining/cloudy while we were there) the last night we were there we had a nice sunset! If we visit the area again we would definitely look to see if the cabin is available.

The cabin was very cozy tucked in the woods with a nice screened in porch and fabulous mountain view over Cherry Pond. Would have no problem renting again. :)

If you are bringing a trailer make sure you are prepared to maneuver it as it’s tighter in the driveway than we thought. Beautiful views and clean cabin and accurate listing information. Only little minor draw back was the oad noise but other than that it was a great place to stay.

This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a place out in the peace and quiet of nature without having to sacrifice any modern amenities. The place was clean, well kept, and surrounded by excellent views. The host was easily reachable and was helpful with suggestions on hiking and things to do in the area. It is a small cabin, but for two people it had plenty of room. Instructions for check-in and check-out were simple and straightforward. Highly recommend visiting Littleton, Super Secret Ice Cream, Muddy Paws Dogsledding Kennel, and hiking Owl's Head.

We loved our stay! We’ll definitely be back. The cabin is in a great location. We were able to unplug and enjoy quality time as a family, explore local breweries and ski at Bretton Woods.

The cabin is comfortably furnished, clean, and was a wonderful home for Thanksgiving. This is a relaxing setting with views of Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge. We hiked there and at nearby state parks or forest areas. It is a great location for exploring the area. The kitchen is well supplied with pots, pans, and utensils for cooking. The living area is cozy with a comfortable couch and fabulous rocking chair. Great place to stay and would stay here again.

Beautiful view of Pondicherry Pond. Cabin reminded us of a ship cabin. Well laid out. Excellent water pressure in shower.

Perfect base if you’re staying in the White Mountains. The cabin was cozy and quiet. Cell phone coverage was good most of the time. The views were beautiful and we were 30 to 50 minutes away from areas where we hiked. I would like to thank Ben for allowing us to use his cabin. It was everything advertised and he gave out helpful information on great places to eat and attractions to see. If you’re looking to get away and go off the grid then this is place

We had rain, fog and sun but loved every minute of our 3 day visit

We spent 3 days at the cabin with my husband and our 3 children aged 3, 7 and 9. The stay was very pleasant. The place is cozy, small but very well organized. We were able to enjoy the magnificent view of the mountains and took advantage of the covered space for the fires (very practical in case of rain!) Thanks Ben! :)

The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed listening to the birds and watching the clouds over the mountains from the front porch. This was a great location for hiking in the White Mountains, with easy access to Franconia, Crawford and Pinkham notch areas. We enjoyed browsing the book about how the cabin was built, and are grateful that we got to enjoy the product of all that careful planning and labor. Thanks for sharing this great place with us.

Our stay at the cabin was truly wonderful. Beautiful cabin set on the mountain side with a breathtaking view. The cabin was very clean and organized, which made for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this cabin if you are looking for a nice getaway in the hills that is well taken care of!

This was a perfect place for a romantic getaway! Excellent for star gazing, bird watching, or just sitting on the porch and enjoying the view. Highly recommend!

Our family of 4 stayed in this property in July 2022. The views from the screened in front porch were breathtaking. There are rocking chairs and even a hammock on the porch. The hammock was a great place to nap after a long hike up Mt Washington. There is a great outdoor firepit and grill area that we didn't get to enjoy as much as we would have liked. The cabin was very clean and just as described in the listing. Our daughters (10 and 7) loved sleeping in the upstairs loft. We enjoyed some of the local restaurants and enjoyed the quick, easy access to some of the more notable tourist activities in the area. The host was incredibly responsive to my inquiries. We would love to stay in this cabin again in the future!
