Great views of Tuscany. Very clean and well maintained property in quiet town. Host was very responsive.

We were looking for a location that would allow us to visit several locations within an hours’s drive. And we needed access to parking. This location fit the bill. Property was exactly as described and photographed. Safe and walkable-town. Three restaurants. Much like all of Tuscany, very narrow and curving roads so rent the smallest car you can. We were awakened every morning to roosters crowing and the braying ofFrankie the donkey. Wi-Fi service best on lower level. Very clean property. Gorgeous rear terrace. Lovely stay with Beatrice.

Schade, dass die Zeit so schnell vorbei ging. Denn das Örtchen Monticiano liegt nicht nur wunderschön in mitten einer abwechslungsreichen toskanischen Landschaft, sondern auch unsere Ferienwohnung auf zwei Ebenen mit zwei Bädern und zwei Schlafzimmern war geschmackvoll im toskanischen Stil eingerichtet und lies keine Wünsche offen. Jeden Morgen frühstückten wir auf unsere Terrasse oder im Garten unter einem Pfirsichbaum mit einem traumhaften Blick in die Landschaft. Die Vermieter Beatrice und ihr Mann waren äußerst hilfreich, gastfreundlich und gaben tollen Tipps für Ausflüge. Wer eine Unterkunft mit noch originalem italienischen Flair jenseits des quirligen Tourismus sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Monticiano bietet alles was das Herz begehrt - einen Bäcker, einen kleinen Supermarkt, eine Bank und zwei Bars. It was a wonderful time we spent in Monticiano, thank you Beatrice. L'appartement est très propre, bien rénové avec une terrasse très agréable avec vue imprenable sur la vallée. Monticiano est un très joli village avec toutes les commodités juste à proximité de l'appartement. Nous recommandons vivement le marché du vendredi matin, petit mais avec de très bons produits. Beatriz et Luciano sont très sympathiques et donnent de bons conseils, à suivre absolument.

Typical Tuscan house in the very centre of old part of Monticiano. One bedroom on street level with great view over garden and countryside. On same level well equipped kitchen including oven. and a bathroom. One bedroom/lounge and 2nd bathroom on lower floor with double doors opening onto two level garden/patios. Very large outdoor space with ample sun-umbrellas, trees for shade. Side alley and gate from patio/garden leads to street - very handy for my wife's mobility scooter and my bike. Thank you Beatrice!

The owners of this property were lovely-friendly and helpful, and it was spotlessly clean. However, accuracy in the property details was lost in translation. We read that the house was on the "outskirts of Siena" ,but the village was a 45 minute drive up a windy mountain road from the city of Siena itself. ( The details probably meant the outskirts of the REGION of Siena?) We were also not given details of the layout of the house and the need to climb up steep stone stairs from the kitchen to get to the bedroom and so out into the garden. My health issues made this a challenge . Heat and mosquitos on top meant that we cut our stay short to find a hotel with air con and less vulnerability to insects in order to protect me from infection ( I have stage IV breast cancer). Our lovely hosts couldn't have done anything about the heat or the mosquitoes! But we think they should clarify the location of the house, the journey to the city of Siena and point out that there are steep stone steps to negotiate, as this would be a hazard for small children as well as those with mobility issues. We were very sad to have to leave several days early, especially when the host family were so friendly, but sadly this property did not work for us. Clearer property details would prevent this happening for other guests. Many thanks.

Beatrice and her husband are outstanding hosts. Their home is beautiful and situated in a small town no more than one hours drive from all of Tuscany’s best attractions. I recommend them highly for anyone looking for a great heart of Tuscany adventure.

Absolutely beautiful home in the picturesque Tuscany countryside. The home itself is well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Our hosts were kind and helpful. There's a lovely little bakery a 1 minute walk away, and a market a 3 min walk away. We visited a local restaurant, Albergo Ristorante Da Vestro, and had a excellent meal, which was a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Highly recommend!
