Host was very responsive and accommodating, and the place was great! Tons of space and SO close to Disney. Pool was clean and a great size. Beautiful gated community

The property is close to all amenities. It was great to be able to come back and enjoy family time at the house.

Garbage from previous tenant was not picked up before we arrived at 4:pmBroken toilet seat in garage. Broken child’s walker left in the garage Two of the chairs to the set on the pool patio are broken and thrown in the garage. Numerous broken/missing slats from the vertical blinds Locked safe - called mgmt company at 4:45 pm on 3/4 - they were going to have to call the owners(?!?!}. As of 7:00 p.m., have had no further contact. There is mold in all the bathrooms The shower heads in all bathrooms need to be replaced. There are no bathroom mats in the showers/bathtubs. The floor coverings in the bedrooms are dated and stained/soiled. There appears to be alarm hardware on the sliding doors but they aren’t hooked up. Considering we have a 6 yr old and a 4 yr old, we were hoping they would be working alarms. The locking gates to the pool are almost impossible open. In the kitchen, most of the pots with handles were so loose that we had to reattach them before using theme. The kitchen set up doesn’t flow properly - it is a mishmash of items in various locations that should have been together in one place. Constantly had to go fro one end to the other. The sliding shelf in the dishwasher is missing a roller. There are few coasters for drink glasses or place mats to protect the furniture in the kitchen and living room. We had an extended family of 8 people. There was no place for all of us to eat meals together. All the bed pillows/mattresses in the house need to be replaced. No way to clean the pool if there is a bad rainstorm which there was. There are several lights in the kitchen don’t work There are no safety bars in the showers/bathtubs which are very important as many renters are older adults. While we’re out of the house on Sunday, 3/6/22, someone opened the screened door to the pool area, put the water hose into the pool and turned the water on in the pool. The screened door was open and the water was overflowing the pool. Very disconcerting that someone was in the pool area and left without shutting the screen door and turning off the water hose. Owners should be concerned since the door was open directly into the pool area - any child could have easily accesses the pool. Suggestions Ceiling Fans need to be put in each bedroom. This is FL and since the AC cannot be lowered less than 73 degrees, air needs to be circulated… coolest area in the house is the garage…not a good place for sleeping. We had to go and buy fans.

Great place to stay. Location is convenient to stores, restaurants and major theme parks. The house has its own pool which is nice coming back to after a long day at the parks. Communication was great between owners and the property manager. We had issues with the Wi-Fi and cable our first day there. I let the property manager know what was going on and she was awesome and had it fixed by the next morning. Highly remcommend this property for families looking to get away on vacation but not wanting to stay at theme parks or a busy resort. House has everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

This was our Spring break for the kids and we decided to take them to Disney. Wife and I, 18, 17, and 6 year old. The house was more perfect than we expected. It was clean with great furnishings and supplied well with everything we needed. We found no signs of any pests or rodents. The house was spacious which my wife and I were happy with due to the kids. The pool was great. The kids would swim in the morning and nights before and after parks. Quiet neighborhood in GREAT location. The Disney parks are literally a 10-20 minute drive depending on traffic. Also, the clubhouse/pool and park with playground are straight down the street a short walk. We’d highly recommend this one and plan to go back. Owners and property manager are responsive and quickly handled the one or two small items we had on the first day. Loved it!

I can definitely recommend this place to everyone for their holiday

We usually stay in the Windsor Hills area when we vacation with our family because we love the resort and the area, when we booked this home we thought we were booking a "Luxury" home as advertised. The home was clean, however the pictures they show online of the home are not recent, the furniture, bedding, paint, and flooring of the home is very worn. The biggest disappointment we had with the home was the outside pool deck and furniture it was in desperate need of deep clean, the furniture was dirty and broken, we contacted the owner and sent them pictures and they sent new furniture on the last day of our holiday, which was of no benefit to our stay. When we vacation, we spend all of our time outside enjoying the warm weather so that was a major disappointment for us. We also had a couple of maintenance issues that were being addressed when we were there a/c issue, tile flooring broken, and raccoon in the roof. Overall, for the first time since we have been renting homes in the Windsor Hills area we spend too much time having to deal with issues with this home then we should have.

We liked that each bedroom has its on bathroom. Also liked the high ceilings in great room and kitchen. Decor is dated and furniture is too large, but it’s a good price for a spacious, clean place to stay. The workers at Guard gate were also very nice.

The house was perfect. Location could not have been better.

We spent 14 days here, visiting various amusement parks and well known attractions in and around Orlando. All the big parks are less than 30 minutes away. The community pool is big and very kid friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

This home was nice and it was clean but had a few small issues. One of the issues were a natural issue that involved dryer not heating. The next day a repairman was sent out. The second of three things also was not a real big thing. All the homes I've rented before have some kind of instruction booklets in home. Listing thing like what to do with full bags of trash, what to do about linen when checking out and so forth. Once again not a big issue but brought up to maybe help in future. The last issue which kind of was the only reason I didn't give this review a perfect 5. In the photos of this house it shows an air hockey table. While looking for which house to rent I wanted either an air hockey or ping pong table. I was a little disappointed it didn't have the air hockey. I want to be clear I was overall very happy with this home. I would want to rent from this home again in the future. I just would like to suggest to not include photo or discription of air hockey table on property ID. I want to thank the owners for this rental. I am sorry your home really should be rated a 5 if it's someone who doesn't care about the air hockey. It's in a great location, clean, there is a little store on property, game room at club house, and a movie screen as well.

First of all, the house itself is located in a great neighborhood and with great proximity to the parks which was the primary focus of our trip. The beds were clean and comfortable and that is always much appreciated. The downside was that several things were not working when we arrived - which was a letdown. The A/C was not working (and it was fairly warm the week we stayed). This problem was taken care of on our second day and we didn't have the problem again. The hot tub was not working during our stay - the management attempted to have this problem resolved but to no avail. My husband got it going somewhat by Googling the hot tub make and model, but this was a disappointment nonetheless as we really like a hot tub in the evening after a day at the park on our feet. Third, there is no air hockey table as shown in the pictures. Fourth, it would have been really nice to have a welcome binder with "how to's" regarding the house. We had trouble with the door lock and wifi as well - those were handled very quickly by management but really we don't want to be calling management so frequently during the stay. A manual would have helped us know when to call and maybe answered the question of "how is this supposed to work?", when does trash get taken out? Etc. So, the house has potential but it would maybe help if someone were to inspect the property prior to guest check in just to head off the troubles we encountered. Thanks for everything, all in all still a great week in Orlando, and we will miss it now that we are back in the frozen north. :)

We were extremely dissatisfied with the state and cleanliness of this home. We had a list of items that needed to be addressed immediately at check in. The major items included fruit flies in every room, dead bugs, dirt, and items left behind by previous renters on the floor, a broken pool filter, a broken lock on the back door, and a broken T.V. in the family room. The owners were able to get the rental management company, VillaDirect, to address some of issues, however, several issues were not able to be corrected until well into our stay. We had fruit flies the entire time and avoided eating in the home since the fruit flies would get into everything. The T.V. was not replaced until Wednesday (we stayed Saturday to Sunday) and the pool was not clean until Thursday. I felt confident booking this property after reading the reviews, but was unaware a different management company was taking care of the property. If an inspection had been conducted, as was described in the informational booklet the management left, we believe several of this issues could have been corrected prior to our arrival or at least earlier in our stay. I will be sure to research the management companies of any future rentals so that my family does not have to experience anything like this again. It was absolutely heartbreaking to have such a poor experience when we looked forward to this trip for an entire year. We did not feel our money was well spent and I am hoping that by writing this review I can prevent another family from making the same mistake. Megan K.

We are a family of 4 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 18 months, who stayed at this villa in May 2017. This villa would be excellent but for some issues with the maintenance of the villa and the poor service offered by the management company. The location of the villa is ideal and the Windsor Hills complex is excellent. The facilities and staff are first class and contributed to a wonderful holiday. The close proximity to the parks along with numerous restaurants (some of them within 1.5 miles walking distance) also a big plus. The villa itself is spacious on the inside although a little cramped around the pool, and is situated a nice 5 minute stroll from the clubhouse and other facilities. All was good inside apart from the kitchen being a little under equipped. Eg only 6 cups for a property that sleeps 8 and no electric kettle, meaning we had to use one on the hob which whistled when boiled, waking everyone up. We had cause to call the management team on numerous occaisions throughout our 18 night stay ( examples below) and were met with various responses ranging from immediate, to being fobbed off, to no action at all. Eg. Front door didn't lock - fixed immediately. Safe was locked shut - nothing they could do, safe still locked shut. Villa telephone didn't work - reported, not fixed, had to use our mobiles, can't wait for bill! No ironing board or electric kettle - both supplied, after initially being fobbed off Mesh around swimming pool damaged - reported several times and got worse and worse allowing access to all sorts of creatures and was in danger of falling into the pool - did promise to fix it but hadn't by the time we left - sorry next tenants we did try. Having said all that we really did have a wonderful time and would stay at Windsor Hills again and also recommend others to do so. Whether we would stay at this villa again would depend on what else was available. We would also use Homeaway again as the website is user friendly and the booking process efficient and hassle free.

House was nicely laid out for family and Windsor Hills is an exceptional community and location.

Check in is a little late, however rental management owner Andrew Wilkes of Select Vacation Villas got us in a bit early. He was super polite and took time to welcome us. We were staying for our daughters Cheer comp at Disney. There were 4 adults and 3 teenagers - plenty of room! All the amenities of home were provided including the extras of the pool and hot tub. Very clean! Now to the recommendations for the owners and management. Hot Tub rental is a little high for such a small hot tub for a large house. There are no ceiling fans in any of the rooms, including bedrooms. Laundry area is a plus but needs a light where the washer and dryer is located. I would spend the money tomorrow if I owned it to upgrade to new ceiling fans and fixtures to keep up with nice furniture and decor of the home. Oh, noticed other homes had ceiling fans outside on patio area of pool. Our family has travelled to the Disney area for 5 straight years staying at West Gate Resorts and Holiday Inn Orange Lakes Resort. We think we have found our future home away from home when we visit in the near future. As for entertainment! This year we did Universal Studios instead of Disney just because we have visited Disney so any times in the previous years. For adult entertainment it is awesome. We did it in one day but you really need atleast a day and half or 2 days to enjoy all of it. Coco Beach is an hour from the rental house and is a nice trip to enjoy ocean. Disney Springs has all the shops and thrill resturants you can imagine. We had dinner at TRex an Rain Forest Cafe. TRex my favorite. Hertz rental car is easy as long as you pre pay and book. Airport is only 25 mins from house, need plenty ones and change for tolls. I think I have covered everything- we look forward to using Select Vacation Villas again. Thank you!

The house was perfect for all 8 of us. It was spacious and clean. It's also located within minutes from the parks, shops and restaurants. We couldn't have asked for a better home away from home. We would definitely recommend it as well as rent it again.

This house is perfect for us. The layout is family-friendly and the location is close to both parks and stores/restaurants. The gated community has a lot to offer. The kids loved having a private pool AND the community pool. We had some issues with the house during our stay but Ike and Linda (who do not live in the area) were very accommodating and responsive. They even made an international call to me when I arrived home to insure everything was addressed to my liking. You will need to bring your own paper products (which is typically the case with a rental house). The kitchen could benefit from some additional utensils/dishes/cooking items so if you plan to cook while there, keep this in mind. The game room is VERY dark and you are not permitted to open the garage doors to let light in. The addition of brighter lighting would help significantly. Otherwise, it's truly a perfect house. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again due to location, amenities and the customer service provided by Ike and Linda.

Recently stayed here and would stay again in the future. We were in Orlando for an event at ESPN Wide World of Sports. This house is about as close as you can get to Disney Parks without staying at their resorts. We stayed with 4 Adults and 3 kids (8, 11, and 12) and there was plenty of room for everyone and plenty of things to do. The home and property were nice and clean, it is located in a gated community. The pool was a lifesaver on some very hot days. We had no problems checking in to the property even though we arrived in the evening. Only had a few minor problems while we were there. The coffee pot took about an hour to brew coffee. We called the property manager and they had a new coffee pot for us in the evening when we returned, that is excellent service. The second issue was one of the bathrooms was missing a towel bar, maintenance came out right away and fixed that as well. The service was great. The game room was fun, but the TV in there is dated and the boys didn't like to play games on the type of TV their parents grew up on. The pool table was perfect for rainy days, and we had a tournament in there during the week. The only reason I did not give 5 out of 5 stars is because this is not a luxury stay. The house is very nice and well kept. It exceeded many of our expectations. Affordable, safe, fun, close to attractions (8min Disney, 30min Universal). If you are looking at vacation rentals in the area, I recommend this property. Thanks for a great place to stay on our vacation.

Great location and nice house

Loved the house, pool and location. Property manager was attentive when we called with a problem. However, was a little disappointed that we had to buy essentials (i.e.: toilet paper, dishwasher soap, dish washing soap, laundry soap and trash bags). I have stayed in other properties where those items were included.

Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

This home is everything you could ask for. It's exactly like the photos. Very clean and comfortable. We loved that we each had our own bathroom and t.v.'s in the bedrooms. We were only minutes away from the parks. The pool and the hot tub were great too. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back someday.

We spent a week here and found it just as advertised. Home was well located to visit Disney and Universal parks. The owners and management company were easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend to others!

My family (7 total) rented this home for a week stay in Orlando while attending Disney's Wide World of Sports for basketball. This house fit us perfectly - with room to spare. It had ample sleeping; lots of place to sit and have a meal; it is tastefully decorated; lots of towels and kitchen utensils. It is beautiful and CLEAN! My kids LOVED having a pool right outside to swim in EVERYDAY! This home is located in Windsor Hills Reserve, a beautiful resort area, that is literally minutes from Disney right off of 192. The resort area itself is clean & well maintained. The clubhouse has a large pool with water slide, an exercise room, a movie theater, game room & sundry shop. Also on the property is a basketball court, volleyball court, tennis courts and a few nice playground areas. It is the perfect place for a family looking to relax and enjoy! The Nnenes have done a wonderful job in stocking this beautiful home as well as keeping it nice & maintained! We can't wait to return!

Home was a great place to come back to after a busy day at the Parks. Upscale amenities were appreciated, house was sparkling clean and fabulously maintained. Exactly as shown in photographs. Owners were a pleasure to deal with -- this was our first time renting direct from a homeowner and it went flawlessly. Thanks so much, will recommend your home to all friends and family.
