Great place to stay when with a group and suitable for both adults and kids. Lots of land to explore and great place for morning runs! 10 min away from Beechwork

The big house and garden works very well for an extended family. The The Stanley-Myrtleford road ids a delightful drive (and we are told a great ride for those on their bikes).

This property we named our ‘hidden Tuscan Villa’ as the beautiful Silver birch garden, grapevines and green rolling hills made it feel like an international destination. Neat and clean with fully stocked kitchen. We were able to relax and unwind. The eco friendly thermo regulated mud brick home stayed beautifully warm and communication with hosts was simple. We loved the array of books to read and the plentiful tea and coffee supplied.

Serene spot in the wonderful little village of Stanley, 10km from Beechworth. The house is as good as it looks, perfect for our large family group to gather, to cook together, to play boardgames and relax. The cottage garden surrounding the house is beautiful. The house is generously furnished and has everything you need for a few days away. Our border collie loved the grounds too. We will be back.

Clean, open and light filled. A very comfortable place to stop and drop or wander throug the lovely gardens. Even though the weather was poor, the house was warm and dry.

Our stay at Casa Abierta was perfect. The house is very spacious and the firepit was a lovely treat. The communication from Jen was excellent, and she even went the extra mile to make sure the WiFi was working. 10/10 would stay here again, especially now the Stanley Pub is back up and running!

A great property that easily accommodated our group of 8. Peaceful, relaxed, remote but with easy access back to Beechworth. Exactly what we hoped for. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a real getaway from work & the suburban routine.

It was warm and cosy with just the log burner on and had plenty of space and a very good kitchen. The grounds are beautiful, surrounded by nature. So close to Beechworth, we popped in there for breakfast. Only disappointment was we couldn’t get into the Stanley pub for dinner, need to book in advance as it’s small and popular.

Family birthday get together
We couldn't have had a better house for a get together with the family. The kitchen and living area allowed us to cook, eat, play and enjoy each others company. The outside area was also perfect to sit out in the sunshine and enjoy the peaceful country setting.

Two families used the house that was well equipped and easy to navigate. With a long windy driveway coming into the house you could easily be in the middle of Italy.

We had a fantastic stay in the house and catered for our needs (3 families) very well. We all left excited that we might book again.One suggestion from our group is - One of the downstairs rooms has very little soundproofing between the ground floor and upper floor when people are moving around and using the upstairs bathroom so best for this room to be taken by a heavy sleepers.

Wonderful property
We loved our stay at Casa Abierta, the owner shows genuine hospitality and thoughtfulness through a stack of little touches and makes the experience easy by providing excellent communication in the lead up to our stay. The kitchen was a big consideration for us and it was large and well appointed. We even had snow which was perfect for our Christmas in July.
No hesitation in recommending this property

Great stay with a group of friends
A nice, pleasant, quiet location and large property for our group of 5 couples. Definitely recommend the property and area for groups with plenty to do in the area, a great local pub and wineries, plus Beechworth being a few minutes drive away.

Beautiful, quiet, idyllic
The house was amazing! It was beautiful, comfortable, warm and cosy, with beautiful views outside from every window. The property was very private and you almost could forget you were in Australia - we made pasta one night feeling like were in a Tuscan/Italian villa. The house is well appointed, with beautiful details, comfortable beds, great sheets and towels. Plenty of kitchen items and big kitchen for lots of guests, with room to move. The two bathrooms were very handy for our party of 9, and the house was very comfortable for all of us + a baby. Karen, the manager, was very helpful and checked in by sms to make sure everything was going well. We will definitely come back and stay here again - fantastic place for a big group getaway! Thank you.

It was an absolute delight to stay at Casa Abierta. Helen went out of her way to ensure we were all comfy and content, which we were. The photos are true of the delightful place.

Great house and garden
Wonderful 6 bedroom house. Enough room for everyone. So well stocked. Manager quick response to any issue. Great fencing for dogs. We loved it and look forward to returning. Thankyou for having us.

An absolutely impressive property.
We enjoyed the luxury and tranquility. The children loved being upstairs in their own space. Enjoyed the view out onto the garden space; the pond and forest grove; listening to the frogs; the occasional barking owl and just star gazing. And of course (a few kms or so) down the road - Beechworth, Milawa cheese, Brown Brothers and Mt Buffalo.....Thank you for the opportunity to experience your lovely home.

Touch of paradise
We found this place to be exact what we wanted . Was very clean and presented beautifully.Would highly recommend this place for a tranquil get away with family and friends . Even the koala cane to say hello which was a pleasant surprise.thax to the hosts we will definitely come back
