This is our second year staying at this property, and we will definitely be returning next year! The house is clean and offers everything you could need for a week at the beach. The owner is very responsive and helpful. Location is wonderful, just steps to the beach and the running trail. This place is a gem!

Our 2nd year staying at this beautiful cottage in South Nags Head. Just the right size for our family; clean and well cared for; close proximity to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. Grateful to the owners for keeping this little gem in such great shape. We will return again!

Arrived early and went to the beach. Went to the house and it is stunning! 4 tall boys and 3 moms. Each mom had a room and the boys shared the bunks! Beach daily and explored Wright Museum, shopping, eating, Roanoke, Manteo and the lighthouse. We had a blast and spent quality time together, having 19 yr olds,you miss that. Was a perfect trip and the house was very close to the beach. Highly recommend a stay!!!

This was the perfect place for our first family beach trip with young children. The house was spotless and well-equipped, with a fun classic beach house decor. The neighborhood feels peaceful and quiet, but you are also only a short drive to all of the main destinations. The beach was beautiful and never crowded when we were there (early June). We found lots of shells and saw dolphins every morning. It does not have a lifeguard, but if you’d like a beach that has one, Coquina Beach was just a few minutes away. Lois was easy to get in touch with and explained everything we’d need to know ahead of time, which was reassuring since we did not know what to expect. We had a fantastic time and hope to return again soon!

We had a wonderful time staying at this house. It is in a great location. The house is close to the beach and we enjoyed being able to walk to the beach whenever we wanted. We also enjoyed riding bikes at the nearby biking path. We also appreciated that the house was close to activities that we wanted to do while we were visiting the Outer Banks, such as visit the Bodie Island Lighthouse.
We enjoyed staying at this house and having Lois as our host.

We can't say enough good things about this rental house. It located just around the corner from the beach. So convenient to go over and fish from the beach, look for shells or even just relax in a beach chair. The house has great 2 story porch which you can hear the waves while sitting in Adirondack chairs.
The house is the cleanest rental property we have ever stayed at. There are tv's in all the rooms but one. The beds are comfortable and so is the furniture. The house is decorated beautifully. This was our first time in the Outer Banks and we will definitely be back and would love to stay here again. This house is amazing.

Our family of 5 stayed for 5 nights. The beach was just steps away from the house. The house had all we needed for the stay and the host was wonderful to communicate with. We visited many cool sites in the area and also spent quality family time at the house playing games and watching movies. We would love to come back someday.

This house was perfect for us. Great location- an easy walk to the beach. Close enough to hear the surf and feel the ocean breeze. She’d in back had everything you would want for a beach setup.
We had everything we needed to cook if we wanted to and close enough to eat out at some great local restaurants. King size bed in master bedroom was very comfy. Great place to spend a week.

This was our second year staying in this property. It fit our family of eight perfectly. It has all the amenities you could possibly need for a week at the beach and the location was perfect. We had a wonderful time and are planning on returning next year.

We have been vacationing in Nags Head for 37 years, but have always used a rental company. Decided to give this VRBO a try and we were NOT disappointed! The property was located in an area that we love, on a fairly quiet street with great access to the beach. The cottage was exactly as pictured in online photos and was exceptionally clean. We were grateful for the use of the bikes and appreciated having the laundry room located in the living space (rather than outdoors). We will eagerly return to this cottage again! Thanks to both Lois and Scott for sharing your vacation home with us!

Communication with the host from the time of booking was exceptional. The house is beautifully decorated and if you look around you may notice that the host is an excellent artist! Short walk to a secluded beach and visits from a local deer family every night made it even more magical.

My family loved this home and it’s proximity to the beach. The owner was extremely helpful with instructive emails leading up to our trip so checking in was super easy. We had sheets and towels delivered and their cleaning crew even put the sheets on the beds and towels in the bathrooms! This is an absolutely beautiful home and very well equipped with anything and everything needed for a relaxing vacation. Highly recommended!

Nice Property for family vacation
The property was very clean upon arrival. Comfortable furnishings. Very short walk to beach. I would recommend bringing your own beach chairs if you prefer higher seats. All in all a good vacation.

Perfect Vacation
We had an amazing time at this property. The size and location of the house was perfect. It was close enough for our 3 year old to walk and not be carried and plenty of room to keep the other 2 grandkids and adults happy. Also, all of the beach chairs were great so we didn’t have to bring them in our car. This is the perfect location and space for any family to have a great vacation. Thanks for sharing your house!

Spring break for 3
The home was beautiful- such eye appeal. We were close to the Light houses that I wanted to check out. The beach is literally right there. The house was not only clean, but it smelled clean as well. We would definitely stay again. This was our first stay in OBX and I loved the quiet. The mosquitoes were terrible even when it was 50 at night- pesky little things.

Family fishing trip
We rented this house for a long weekend for a group of 8 adults. The space was perfect size for us and great location for those fishing and others who wanted to enjoy other activities Outer Banks has to offer. It was a fair drive to anything we wanted to do. The acres to beach was perfect and neighborhood was quiet. We will stay here again. Thanks Lois!

Great House & Location
House was perfect for our family - close to the beach, and had everything we needed for a great week. We splurged for daily chair and umbrella service from Farm Dog Beach Services, although there were plenty of chairs and umbrellas provided in the shed. Kitchen was well equipped, and the gas grill made meals quick and easy. The crows nest was a great spot to enjoy the breeze and unwind at the end of the day.

Great location in South Nags Head
Great location, short walk to the beach. Not a long drive from everything upper Nags Head/Kill Devil Hills has to offer, but far enough away to avoid the larger volumes of people in the summertime in the Outer Banks. We were less than 5 minutes from the Bodie Island lighthouse and many other attractions were within 15 to 30 minutes away. The house was clean and everything was as described. We will certainly consider staying here again!

Quick getaway
What a fabulous house, proximity to the beach and beautiful area. The beach was not crowded. My adult children loved playing four square under the porch! It was big enough for all 6 of us to have our own space. The best was the views from the crows nest. We will be back!

Peaceful getaway
Lois's place was perfect for our trip to OBX. It's an easy walk to the beach (literally 2 minutes) and the house had everything we needed. Our daughter loved looking at all the seashells in the coffee table. Would definitely recommend Lois's place!
