Nancy and I took her 92 year old father for a get- away. We could have used better weather but enjoyed touring Baxter, Cookeville, Smithville and Gainsboro. Next time we hope to get to use your deck. Everything was great and we felt right at home. Thank You. Danny, Nancy and Lynn

Our family had a lovely stay at La Provence over the Thanksgiving holiday. We were impressed with how well equipped the home was - the hosts have thought of nearly ever detail you could possibly need for a cozy stay. We would definitely recommend, and consider staying here again.

We stayed at this home for a week in August 2023. The home was impressive and just as described. The property manager was very responsive to our text messages. The area was fun and if you get a chance to go out on Center Hill Lake we highly recommend it.

Only used property to sleep. Didn't stay there hardly at all. Property needs a couple of stools to get into bed. Beds were too high to get in to. Also need toilet plungers. Don't understand why there isn't one. Other than that, good place.

This house was one of the best rentals we stayed in. The accomodations where outstanding, we had plenty of room with us 5 and 4 small dogs.The bed's where super comfy too. The best was the wrap around porch, so relaxing. The owners thought of every detail. Very clean too. The welcome goody basket was very nice touch. We hope to return again and spend more time there.

Our annual Girl’s trip plan for 2023 was Nashville, Tn. However, Taylor Swift & other events had Nashville’s Hotels etc, sold out. We searched Vrbo and fell in love with this listing. We were to enjoy each other without the noise restriction of a hotel and so much open space. We have no complaints about the house. It was very budget friendly for us. Smithville Tennessee is a great small town. We loved the restaurant. Ace. We would recommend and consider staying here, again.

The house and location were very nice with great surroundings but there were issues. The first evening while sitting on the sofa in the family room I moved a pillow only to have a roach craw out. Not good! Later that evening we removed dishes from the cupboard for dinner and found food residue on several dishes. Same problem with the silverware.
Will not do this again.

Although the home is only 1700 sq ft, there is so much space and has everything you need! Fully equipped kitchen, which was SO nice. We made breakfast, lunch, and dinners the entire time we were there and never lacked for dishes or cooking gear, and we had a pretty decent size group.
The beds were AMAZING. Everyone was overwhelmed by those AND the showers. It was probably my favorite of all the VRBO properties we have stayed at. It was perfect.
Thanks as well for the bottle of wine, which was much needed after 7 hrs on the road with 4 kids pets.

Well maintained home on a quiet street. Lovely back porch surrounded by mature trees. Wrap around front porch to enjoy the sunset. Host leaves additional basic supplies of detergents, dishwasher tabs, garbage bags which makes a stay easier.

Everything you want/need was right here. There was such a great supply of dishes and cookware you could cook whatever you wanted. The kids loved the gift basket with snacks and water. We felt welcome and comfortable. I hadn’t had that good of a sleep in a very long time. We all enjoyed it and it’s on our list of places to stay again.

This property was perfect! We loved the screened in porch. The hosts were very prompt on returning my calls/ text when I had a few questions. Only about 15 minutes to Hidden Harbor. I definitely recommend this rental and plan to return

We enjoyed our stay at the lovely La Provence House. It was the quaint getaway we looked forward to and we were welcomed with a gift basket as well! The area is great for hiking, boating and exploring charming small towns. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs along with us & they enjoyed the boat ride and hiking just as much as we did. Family reunion and 70th Birthday
This property met all of our needs! Location was perfect for Odom family reunion and Fiddlers Jamboree. Everything was clean and fresh upon our arrival. Host assisted with entry since we arrived a little early. Plenty of linens—that smelled wonderful! Well stocked kitchen, including nice variety of K cups for Keurig. Beds were comfortable. A highlight feature is the screened in porch. We enjoyed playing games and listening to music lighted by soft and inviting patio lighting. And the welcome basket of treats, candy and bottle of wine was certainly a lovely and appreciated gesture. My son’s dog had a lot of fun, too! So glad he was welcome in this beautiful home. Thank you Henriette! I hope it’s possible to return sometime in the future.

House was amazing ! Plenty of room for 4 adults 2 teens and 2 dogs. If your looking for lake access it’s within minutes from house. Burgess Falls is a must along with Fall creek falls state park. Shopping is a little further but overall an amazing stay.

Beautiful house that felt like a private hotel! Location was perfect and easy to find. We rented a pontoon from Hidden Harbor Marina and the drive was so smooth to and from it! We would definitely stay again!

The most impressive thing about our experience was the prompt and professional way that the owner/manager handled communications.
The home itself was exactly what we hoped for. Center Hill Lake was about 15 minutes away by car, but much, much closer as the crow flies.
Burgess Falls was a great side trip.

Nice place to stay
Quiet and private place due to no neighbors yet… plenty if options to build around this cabin though. Construction was visible several places but rarely caused an issue. We had to kill a couple small insects but that is to be expected in the woods. All facilities worked just fine and other than some creaky floorboards that made sneaking out to surprise folks for breakfast difficult it was a great weekend getaway.

Perfect Christmas vacation. Host was perfect from the beginning process to the end. 8 of us plus our dogs. House was very roomy and comfortable. Christmas decorations were awesome. Smithville is very friendly. This is a house that i definitely recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy and make memories. Peaceful, beautiful and relaxing.
