<2 minute walk from Nishiki Market and very central, tatami style rooms were super comfortable, staff always welcoming, croissants provided in the morning, clean and modern

Von den acht Hotels unseres Japan-Aufenthalts war es das Beste. Das Hotel erfüllt sämtliche Erwartungen, hat eine perfekte Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Nishiki Market, ist ruhig gelegen, hat gut geschnittene und schön gestaltete Zimmer und es sind sehr herzliche Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption um das Wohlergehen bemüht. Wir haben sogar zwei große Koffer auf dem Boden geöffnet unterbringen können, was in Japan eine große Herausforderung ist. Restaurants, Cafés, Conveniance-Stores und Busstation in unmittelbarer Nähe. Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher und Bügelbrett mit Bügeleisen waren vorhanden und sehr nützlich. Auf Wunsch wurden Tischreservierungen vorgenommen, was sich als günstig erweist, wenn man sich nur auf englisch verständigt. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We loved everything! The staff was exceptional, so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to great restaurants and bars and easy walk to Gion and train station. And the room was beautiful and comfortable. Highly recommend!

The location was outstanding, just a short walk to the lively Nashiki Market and bus/train routes. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was charming.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. This was one of our favorite hotels and it was the most spacious hotel we stayed in during our two week trip to Japan. The room was comfortable and quiet.
The location is very convenient. It is within walking distance to several local attractions, restaurants and shopping.

The location is unbeatable - 2mins walk from
Nishiki market. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help. The room is well appointed, amenities are of high quality. I love the Nespresso coffee and fresh croissants every morning!
The WiFi was rather weak in my room.

因為被安排在電梯門前的房間，所以聽到外面拖行李和談話的聲音，但不致於影響到睡眠，因為棟距非常近，雖然有對外窗但看不到什麼風景，不過天氣太冷也就沒開窗，所以也就沒關係了。

Super personeel en een fantastische kamer voor de prijs. 1 persoon tatami kamer met de futon achterin. De kamer is zo'n 7 meter lang waardoor je voor in de kamer genoeg ruimte hebt voor je koffers en spullen. Badkamer heeft een heerlijk bad en dagelijks 2 gratis croissantjes als ontbijt per persoon.

הגענו כדי לחגוג ירח דבש בקיוטו. צוות המלון מסייע בכל פנייה ומעניק שירות מצוין. החדרים מאוד נקיים. מבוצע ניקיון בסיסי כל יום וניקיון רחב יותר כל שלושה ימים. יש במלון אפשרות לכביסה בחינם. המיקום שלו בסביבת נישיקי מעולה ומאפשר לגלות כל פעם מחדש פנינות נסתרות בשכונה.

Great location, helpful and kind staff. Plus the room was not only charming, but also really quiet and comfortable. I loved the place, and recommend it for sure. More than just recommend, I will for sure come back if I even visit Kyoto again.

Very clean hotel, near the Nishi market and therefore there are many dining options.
If you plan to walk around by subway, this hotel is a little bit far from the subway station.

Loved the location, right near Nishiki market. In amongst quiet and safe streets, nice sized room. Staff were from a mix of countries so had no issue communicating. Bed large and comfy!
Would've liked access to fresh towels - we only received one new set which we needed to ask for at the desk during our 4 day stay. Everything else was great!

I loved how the traditional room felt. The tatami mat and futon combo mixed with the modern amenities made this stay feel truly balanced in both the old and new practices of hospitality. The best sleep during my Japan trip was at this hotel! The staff were INCREDIBLY kind and helpful, some of the best hospitality I have ever experienced in my life.

The hotel room was brand new and had comfortable amenities. The wifi didn’t work one night, but it was fixed the next day. The staff was lovely. It was perfect for our needs although if we had big luggage it would have been a bit cramp. No breakfast but there is an excellent bakery a few blocks away for breakfast.
