We were so happy with our stay. Only the 3rd time we have traveled with our rescue dog. Having the backyard was great! So much fun walking down by the water. Within walking distance to get to all of our favorite places and found new spots. Easy check in and out process. Definitely would recommend.

We loved our getaway to Portland. We were visiting for a college friends wedding, and it was a perfect home base. I loved how close we were to the ocean/eastern prom and would often bring my coffee there int he mornings! Would stay again.

My spouse and I stayed for 3 nights with our 2 dogs. There was excellent communication leading up to the stay and upon arrival the unit was spotless! Possibly the cleanest stay we’ve ever had. The appliances were new and very nice. The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable. We did visit during a very hot week in Maine and thankfully the air conditioner worked well in the bedroom. On hot days it does get a bit warm downstairs because there is no air conditioner, but not an issue for us because we didn’t spend much time in the house. As for the location, it is in an excellent location…a close walk to everything and a nice grassy area just down the road for the dogs. The street is very quiet and feels safe. There is a parking spot in the driveway but also plenty of parking on the road. Lastly - an added bonus that the neighbor is super friendly and Percy is the cutest and friendliest corgi we’ve ever met! 10/10 would recommend and stay here again!

Great location near the Eastern Promenade and beach, easily walkable to Wharf Street, Congress Street, and other parts of the city. We loved the off street parking and fenced back yard, perfect for dog owners looking to enjoy Portland.

We were very cozy here and would stay again! Everything was exactly as pictured- even better than pictured actually, you can really see the historic character and cozy vibe of the place in person. It was our first overnight trip with our 8 month old, and this was perfect for my husband and I, our baby, my mother in law and our two dogs. The location is fantastic- half a block from the water, close to great neighborhood restaurants and the Eastern Prom, and about a 20 minute walk downtown. One thing to keep in mind- the bedroom with the skylights gets very bright once the sun rises- so if you need a darker room to sleep in- choose the other bedroom.

The location was perfect with our dogs. The green is right down the street. We were able to bike around all of Portland very easily. Great stay!

Walking distance to eastern promenade and the ocean - check in was easy and space was clean. Great for my parents dog to stay as well with the carpeted stairs and the outdoor space. Highly recommend!

This was a great location just steps from the Eastern Promenade. The house was very comfortable for three adults and our dog. We enjoyed being able to walk most places we wanted to go. The couch and beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host responded quickly when we needed the nest thermostat reprogrammed for the colder weather. We would love to come back and experience Portland in the warmer weather!

We’ve stayed at this property many times and love the charm, location and condition of the property. The owner is super and very responsive. Always our first choice in Portland.

My friend and I loved the place and didn’t want to leave. I wanted to steal my blanket - the bed was so comfy! Only complaint is I lost hot water in the shower on the last day but the cold water woke me up 😉

Cute house, great location, great time! This home was a perfect size and a great location for us. Neighborhood was very quiet and close to water, trails & downtown. We love Munjoy Hill. And the owner was very responsive and kind throughout the entire process/visit. Definitely recommend.

Second time staying here and we loved it again. It is clean, inviting and homey, and the owner is quick to respond, no matter what. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, and the view of Casco Bay from the Eastern Prom is just wonderful. You can walk pretty much everywhere in Portland from here, which is my favorite thing to do. Would definitely recommend it.

We had our little four legged friend with us and the place worked out find for him. We were half block from the park and the bay. Went for walks a lot and meet a lot of other four legged friends.

My hubby and I, along with adult son and his GF, stayed for several days while attending a family wedding nearby. It had everything we needed. Comfortable and clean. Historic details with modern features. Easy access, off street parking and just about a block to the Bayfront with park and walking trail. Downtown area is a hearty 10 -15 walk. Would def stay again. Thanks!

LOCATION!!
We had the BEST stay at this property. My husband, one year old, and another couple stayed for 4 nights. The location is EVERYTHING. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted - from restaurants to downtown to the water. The house is very well kept, quiet, comfy beds, and well stocked. I asked about a pack and play and the owner went out and bought one before our arrival!! So incredibly accommodating. If we make it back to Portland again, we will definitely stay here.

Dirty entrances in front and back, serious work needed on outside as well as a few items needing attention inside such as door knobs and a bit of work on the television reception. Location was great, beds were comfortable, 1 bath worked even without a door knob, and kitchen was well stocked if you want to cook. Why go on vacation to cook though? I personally would consider another property in the area but the other 3 staying with me felt it was a great place and would stay here again.

Relaxing stay in Portland
The property was perfect for what we needed - a small, cozy place to hang out after spending most of the day exploring Portland. The backyard was great too. We spent a lot of time on the little deck and our dogs really enjoyed having some outdoor space to explore. The location was also ideal - a quick walk down the hill got us into downtown Portland and the views from the top were beautiful.

I was a bit disappointed in the general upkeep of the property. Dirty entrances in front and back, serious work needed on outside as well as a few items needing attention inside such as door knobs and a bit of work on the television reception. Location was great, beds were comfortable, 1 bath worked even without a door knob, and kitchen was well stocked if you want to cook. Why go on vacation to cook though? I personally would consider another property in the area but the other 3 staying with me felt it was a great place and would stay here again.

My husband and I visit Portland every year, sometimes multiple times in the summer. We were so blessed to have found a space in our favorite neighborhood that was pet friendly! The host was very thorough and provided all the instructions we needed - there wasn’t any reason to contact them. The renter next door was lovely and our dogs loved hers. :) The space was fully stocked and everything was easily accessible. I wish this space was available next month when we are back in town!

It was dirty - tons of dog fur on the floor - clearly not vacuumed before our arrival. Bathroom handle just fell out of the door, leaving a hole. None of the bedroom doors latched, making them impossible to close. Property could also use some touches to make it a bit cozier, like rugs. Overall, ok stay, but would not stay again for that price.

We were able to enjoy our very own at home lobster and shrimp dinner with all the cooking equipment available to us. Extra blankets and bathroom towels were appreciated! Property is a less than 15 min walk to downtown Portland and piers which was a plus. We would definitely stay here again.

Percy the Corgi next door was a perfect gentleman and absolutely adorable. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. The only downside is we didn't get to explore all those local cafes and eateries because of the holiday.

Stayed here over Christmas with my two dogs and father and his partner when we were in town visiting my sister. Everything was super comfy, tasteful, and sparkling clean. Percy the Corgi next door was a perfect gentleman and absolutely adorable. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. The only downside is we didn't get to explore all those local cafes and eateries because of the holiday.

This is a great property. It is a lovely home located on the Eastern Promenade. Everything about our stay was perfect. Easy check in, off street parking, absolutely spotless, full of amenities... The location is excellent for walking along the trails on the promenade and for enjoying the excellent restaurants on Munjoy Hill. Thank you!

Rental was fantastic. Perfect location, very walkable to downtown and the Promenade. And we really appreciated the attention to detail. Tupperware in the cabinets, kitchen knives that were actually sharp, etc.....we stay in a lot of rentals, and it's the small things we appreciate most! Overall, great place and would recommend to anyone heading to Portland.
