We had a great time..its was quiet and relaxing and just the cutest lil house..the kids had a blast..will visit again

The house is well put together, and well laid out.
Location is near the Moshe of a little cove and the dock goes out plenty fast enough for fishing. It’s a god size too, no worries about stepping on each other.
Plenty of wildlife-bass, turtles, birds, maybe a snake or two… in the water only.
The grill and picnic table are a nice touch and in a good spot. I think we had to go buy charcoal but no big deal.
No complaints about this place at all, would visit again.

Overall, I would stay here again. The last road, actually the driveway is about 400’ long not paved going down to the house.(improved stabilized) . This presents an issue if you want to back your boat down it, to the house. It was raining one morning and I had to use four-wheel-drive to pull the boat up the driveway(20’ bass boat)
The property has a nice pier , The cove is protected from the main lake winds. The home has a comfortable feel and cozy , nice couches and bedding was good. Beautiful views of the Cove and main Lake through the windows and the deck. kitchen has everything I needed ,big Refrigerator/Freezer, upgraded appliances, nice Countertops. My daughters enjoyed the kayak available.

Wonderful property!!! We saw eagles, Canadian geese, caught fish on the dock with my 4 year old. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to unwind and recenter.

We loved our time at Steel Magnolia! We were looking for a peaceful, secluded fall break getaway and this hit the mark.

We enjoyed our weekend getaway! The house is clean and beautiful with pretty much everything you’ll need while you are there. The beds are so comfortable. We especially enjoyed the kayaks and being able to fish from the dock. The internet is satellite internet so it’s in and out and not really fast enough for streaming. They have dish network but had no signal all weekend so we weren’t able to watch TV. Those were the only drawbacks. We only caught one small fish all weekend but we had fun trying!!

My husband and 3 kids loved staying here over Thanksgiving week. This home is gorgeous and the view is amazing! We came to visit my grandparents for Thanksgiving and attend a family reunion at the same time. Toledo Bend holds many wonderful childhood memories for me and it was great to go back to visit and stay at this lovely home. Next time we come back for a visit, I know the place I want to stay!

Great location, wonderful view of the sunsets, and nice having the canoe and kayaks. Wish the living room tv would have allowed us to cast from our smartphones to watch movies. Mattresses are a bit "spongy.' Kitchen and living room were very comfortable.

The cabin was perfect. Clean and cozy! Perfect for our mom/friend getaway! Definitely plan on being back with my family!

We had a good few days here. Microwave wasn’t working. Owners responded promptly to our messages. Microwave issue wasn’t able to be fixed while we were there but it was ok. We had the stove!

This is the second time I've rented this lake house from VRBO. Both visits were top notch. Fishing was great, caught about 40 bass in near by coves and across the lake. The only thing that could make this place better is a fishing cleaning station. Other than that its perfect.

Spring Break Fishing 2022
We loved staying at The Magnolia with gorgeous views . The house was clean and smelled good and was perfect for relaxing and unplugging from the world.
We will go again .
I don’t want to take away from how much we loved staying here but we will bring a foam bed topper the next time because the bed was very very hard.

Very nice place. View was great. Sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. Only negative was one of the roads getting there has major potholes and needs some repairing.

Perfect lake weekend!
This property is even better in person! Absolutely beautiful! Everything was so clean and set up perfectly for family getaway weekend. Kids enjoyed fishing on the dock and the kayaks. Fully stocked with everything you need! This will be our go to for trips to Toledo Bend!

This camp was so beautiful, neat, and comfy. Everything needed was supplied and even though it rained a whole day, Thanksgiving day at that, it was still beautiful on the lake. We used the fireplace and stayed cozy and warm, watched Hallmark Christmas movies, read a book and ate a nice Thanksgiving dinner. Love this place. A+!

Good time.
We had a good time. Fish was not biting, but that was okay. Had campfire and roasted marshmallows. Only problem was I think they had a plumbing problem. Bad smell. Had to buy candles and leave windows open. Overall we made due and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Perfect!
A beautiful property with a perfect view of the sunset over the lake. The accommodations were clean, the kitchen has updated, stainless steel appliances, the rear of the house, which faces the water, is fully windowed for that great view. The only con, and it’s a very minor one, is that most of the windows are not screened. Opening them, to enjoy the breeze, leaves you subject to bugs flying in. The owners are extremely nice and quickly responsive to questions and such. We are thankful for the opportunity to stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Steel Magnolia. Was a very relaxing 4 days and 3 nights. The house was very cozy and you couldn't ask for a better view of the sunset. I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back.

Perfect Family Location
Dock was large enough for everyone to sit and fish off of. The house was extremely clean and had plenty of appliances for cooking for an entire family
