Went to the Morgan Wallen concert and chose to stay here. Perfect location, very clean and accommodating. Would 100% come back and would recommend anyone staying in this area choose this lake home.

Love this property, the road going to it is gravel with several steep spots! But once you get to the house it is heaven on earth!!! Rabbits, squirrels & deer visit nightly. The kitchen is well stocked & the appliances are new & very nice. The bed was comfy, the views fantastic & it was very private. The hot tub was a nightly ritual that I will miss! 100% recommend!

Very nice home with everything needed. Upstairs king bed comfortable. Enjoyed watching deer in the yard early morning and late evening. Great view from the upstairs windows. Enjoyed the privacy of this home. Only thing sort of bad was the road right before getting to this home was dirt very little gravel. It rained one night and there were mud holes and it was bumpy. No problem for us, we were in a truck, just a little messy. All else great!

This is a great house in a great location. Very private location but not too far to go enjoy Branson and surrounding areas. The house was well stocked with everything we needed plus extra special touches such as a smores kit to use at the firepit. This is our third time staying here and enjoyed this time just as much as the first.

First of all, I hate to leave a review because I'm afraid others will want to stay here and take up all the reservations! Great clean property with awesome views and property was everything (and more) that I expected. Great walk-down access to the lake, corn to feed deer, nights on the back porch watching stars and a beautiful view. All the amenities of home but you are on vacation!

We enjoyed everything about the house. Secluded, comfortable, near the lake (easy 3 minute walk), chairs available at the lake edge, fire pit with s’mores, full kitchen amenities, Keurig with k-cups, popsicles in the freezer, soda waiting on us, TV’s in bedrooms and living room, hot tub, wildlife, and on and on. The only mild negatives were spotty wifi/internet (college student needed a bit better for online class). Not bad enough to call about (had a couple storms that probably effected it). We slept pretty good, beds were like clouds, maybe a tad too soft, but we still slept well enough. We’d go back in a flash.

Tall Tree Retreat was exactly what we were wanting for our 43rd Anniversary Trip! It was away from the tourist area of Branson, but close enough to enjoy when we wanted. We loved watching the stars from the hot tub at night, feeding the deer and sitting by the lake! The cabin was very clean and completely stocked with supplies. We would definitely stay here again!

Lake View Blue Eye was a very clean & super comfortable & convenient place to stay as we picked kids up from camp. We all enjoyed the hot tub & a great place to cast a line to catch a few fish. We highly recommend this darling cabin as a place to stay for your next vacay!

The house was perfect for our 40th anniversary getaway. It is private with a nice view of and walk to the lake. It is perfectly located to enjoy peace and quiet, but a quick drive to Branson, Dogwood Canyon, and even close to enough for a nice day in Eureka Springs. The house was comfortable, clean, and ideal for rest and relaxation. We certainly enjoyed our time in Blue Eye!

We had a great time. Lots of extras. Another nice to have is a box of tissues. Ceiling fan needs dusted desperately. It's a very high ceiling so I understand it's not something that is easily done.

Our two-night stay at this property was perfect. Super clean, beautiful location, awesome hot tub, right off the lake. We loved this property and will definitely be returning in the future.

My husband and I stayed here for Christmas to relax and enjoy the holiday. The views into Branson were nice at night since the trees were bare and the sky was lit up with lights. Easy drive to Branson and Big Cedar Lodge which we visited during our stay. We have a spa at our home that we utilize frequently, so it was nice to be able to use the one here on the property - kinda like being a home, but still a relaxing setting while overlooking the lake. The owners were easy to communicate with and left smores for the fire pit as well as snacks and a couple drinks for our stay. Very thoughtful owners. Well stocked kitchen and comfy beds.

The property was everything we hoped for and more. The property owners welcomed us with a kind little gift and were very communicative in order to make our stay very easy. This was by far the most well-stocked property we've ever enjoyed. The kitchen had every condiment you could think off and the coffee was very well stocked. The bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, etc. The hot tub was the perfect size for two or three people and the lit path to the shoreline was incredible. We very much enjoyed our Thanksgiving week at this little cabin in the woods.

Tall Tree Retreat has all you could ask for in a Vacation Rental! Located on a substantial plot of land, it is the most secluded property we've rented, but still within convienent driving distance to all of the area's attractions. The owners thought of everything: Fully stocked kitchen including an air fryer, dual coffee maker (pods and traditional), pots, pans, cooking spices, a toaster, and more. In addition to the indoor gas fireplace, there are two fire pits on the property with all the firewood you'll ever need, even if you want to a enjoy a nightly fire (as we did, and we stayed for 9 nights). A S'mores kit is provided, and we took full advantage of it. The surrounding mountain/lake views from the balcony are breathtaking and the pictures do not fully capture the beauty. If you are a stargazer, I highly recommend laying on the lounge chairs in the evening. Tall Trees is far enough away from the city lights to see many stars you probably don't see from your own backyard. We caught a faint glimpse of the Milky Way cloud and several shooting stars. There is a bucket of Deer Food provided, and if you throw a few handfuls into the front lawn, there's a good chance you'll have a visit from a half-dozen deer every morning and evening. The beds are like the story of Goldilocks: not too firm, not too soft. I've never slept so well in any bed other than my own at any resort or rental property. By far, Tall Tree is the cleanest property we've ever rented, but if for some reason you want to sanitize it further, an impressive array of cleaning products is provided. The owners are very cordial and quick to respond to any cocerns you might have: We mentioned that we planned to have lots of "campfire nights", so they made sure the wood supply stayed fully stocked for our entire stay. The owners provide a list of recommended area activities: We visited every suggested location and enjoyed every one of them immensely. If you are planning to stay anywhere within 50 miles of the Branson area, Tall Tree Retreat is the place you want to be. We will definitely return.

This place is like the description only better. They have a lot of extras that made our stay more enjoyable. They provided corn to feed the deer. We say deer every night. Check in was upper easy.

My husband and I have enjoyed the Tall Tree properties on several occasions now and, once again, we were amazed by the loveliness of the setting, and the hospitality provided by the owners leaves nothing to be desired. We'll be back!

My husband and I stayed here for three nights. The house is way nicer in person than the pictures, in my opinion. I was impressed when we got there. I will say it was a little tricky to find, and I don’t think a small car would do well driving to and from this house. It was on a very curvy, hilly dirt road. We rented a car at the airport and drove it here…. I booked the most basic car but they gave us an SUV… I am really glad we had the SUV. I think a small car would have had a hard time on the road there. The house was updated with newer appliances. It was very clean and decorated nicely. The hot tub on the porch was nice! There was also a bucket of corn to feed the deer. We loved feeding the deer and did it nightly! One thing I’m not sure of is how this house would sleep six people. It was fairly small and had two bedrooms. There was one couch. But I would say sleeping six people is a stretch. There were two beds. I think more than four people would have been crowded. I did receive a call from Lesha on the day of check in asking if we had any questions and she gave us some recommendations to do in the area. I appreciated that. There was also a binder at the house with information on the area and suggestions of things to do. The owners were available by phone while we were there. We had an issue with the hot tub that was resolved very quickly. Check out time is a very strict 10am! We left the house at 10:10 and the housekeeper was waiting for us to leave at the end of the driveway! I understand it needs to be cleaned before the next people come, but I don’t think I have ever dealt with such a strict check out time, especially because we had to start laundry and the dishwasher before leaving, and clean up after ourselves. Overall it was a great location and a very comfortable, well maintained home. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. Thank you so much Lesha and Bret!

An amazing one week stay for our family of three was made possible by this secluded hideaway in the trees where we enjoyed direct lake access for floating, kayaking, fishing, and evening campfires right next to the water. As the previous reviews mention, you really do not want for anything as the house is fully supplied for cooking gourmet meals, enjoying s’mores by the fire pit, and feeding the deer with the corn provided. We highly recommend this property for a lake getaway and couldn’t have been more pleased with the responsiveness and communication of the property owners.

This was our 2nd stay at Tall Tree Retreat and it was as great as the first time. We love everything about this place. The location, the close access to water, all the amenities the owners have on hand. Just back a bag, some food and go you won't be disappointed. We will definitely be back.

Booked Tall Tree for our anniversary weekend - this place has thought of EVERYTHING l, seriously everything you need to be comfortable. From comfy beds to spices, aloe (only wish I had found sooner 🤣 I enjoyed the Missouri sun on the deck a little too much) and even s'mores! We enjoyed the wildlife - deer, squirrels, and hummingbirds! Every night we spent watching the sunsets from the hot tub and enjoying the stars. A truly relaxing weekend. As other have mentioned, the road is a bit rough so plan accordingly! We really can't say enough at how much we enjoyed this property!

The cabin has a fully sticked kitchen, laundry facilities and bathrooms which was amazing for our family! The hot tub was amazing and we spent every night overlooking the sunset as a family from it - it was great!

This home was wonderful and full of everything you need to settle in and have an easy stay. There were so many little extras that show the owners really want to make it comfortable. We loved the welcome basket and the kids really enjoyed the smores kit and ice cream maker. Communication with the owners was excellent. The house was very clean, well kept and organized. The house had things like shampoo/conditioner/body wash, tin foil, cling wrap, dishwasher pods, dish soap, lots of condiments, frosty beer mugs in freezer and more. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, hot pads, kitchen towels, etc. There were games and dvds for rainy days when we got out of the hot tub. There were chairs down by the rock beach for some quiet lake time. I'm not sure if the internet would be strong enough on poor weather days for someone who needs to work online/zoom all day but we didn't end up working at all so it was good enough for us. Other reviews said road was rough going in. We have an odyssey van and went slow and it was no problem. We'd love to stay here again, it was such a treat.

We enjoyed the Quite privacy but the terrain was pretty rough to walk around on. I would not recommend this for older couples or people with disabilities that make it hard to move around. The slope that the house sits on is very steep with rough gravel roads on the drive in to the house. Also a lot of stairs to climb. The furniture was not comfortable in the living room and if you had several guests this would not be a good living room to lounge in. We did enjoy the hot tub and great views from the property. They had everything you need which was nice. Dishes, cups plus Dish ,shower and laundry soap. Having lake access was great but get ready for a workout because it’s a decent hike to and from the water up a down a steep rough hill.

We had a wonderful time relaxing and just escaping the hustle and bustle of life. The retreat was perfect, very private and super clean. We were greeted with a letter and house warming gift. We loved every minute of our time and hated to leave. Everything was very well thought out and furnishing were amazing. Loved the hot tub!

This house was perfect for our anniversary getaway. It was the small little extras like deer food, the s’mores kit, and a treat that was left for us that made it even better experience. We had a great view from the balcony and spent some time by the lake. They also had everything we needed stocked besides the food, which was great!

The house is clean and comfy. The owners were wonderful. The property is peaceful. The drive in was a little rough, but well worth it once you arrive. All the little touches made it extra special. Close enough to all you want to do in Branso, but far enough to unplug and unwind at night (and the hot tub was amazing too). If we come back to the area, this place tops our list to stay!
