Easy entry and comfortable condo with well equiped kitchen and easy to use Roku TV in living area. Wonderful wide beach, perfect for our grandson's skim boarding. Waves were large enough for boogie boarding and ocean surprisingly warm for early June. Storage shed was very helpful. We also biked the beach every day. The lighthouse climb was very interesting. Beds were quite comfortable. The pool which is right beneath the balcony was quite noisy but closed at 8 each night so not very bothersome. We hope to come back another summer.

The condo was clean and quiet and had all we needed. We loved the area. The only issue was that the pool was closed for 3 days while we were there due to equipment failure. I would stay there again. The area is nice and quiet and low key. We loved our stay there overall.

The owners have made Toes in the Water a perfect place to vacation. They have provided all you could need and have decorated with some really fun nautical and beachy touches. The decks overlook the community pool, but the view of the dunes and ocean are unimpeded. Hated to leave…

Love this place! The location is perfect—along a quiet stretch of the beach, close to the beach access, nice view of the ocean. The condo is comfortable and pleasant. The hosts are responsive and listen to suggestions. It’s a great place!

Believe the reviews and the photos. The owners were super responsive, and the place looks exactly like it does in the photos. We loved being a 3 min walk from the beach, and accessing all of the chairs and toys made the trip seven better. 5 stars!!

The condo was just as described. The unit was very clean and and the kitchen had everything I needed, including appliances that are top notch. Always nice to feel like you upgrade a bit from your own place! The view is spectacular and even when it was slightly raining, we could still enjoy it from inside. There is a direct path to the beach that is very close to the unit, so enjoyed many walks along the beach with easy access. I did have some trouble finding the exact unit within the complex, but I called the owner and they picked up right away and directed me. Of course, my friends found it no problem! Great experience, and have this one bookmarked as a favorite!

Hands down the best property we’ve stayed at in Oak Island! From the time of booking through check out, the experience was top notch! The owners were very responsive and there is no question that they take pride in their property to ensure their guests have the best experience! The property is situated on a quiet end of the beach facing the ocean. The unit was very clean and the attention to detail far exceeded our expectations! Will definitely book again for our next Oak Island trip!

After staying in several VRBO places over the last few years, this property is the best. VERY nice attention to details and very clean. Closer to the beach than we even expected and the view from the porch/deck was awesome. Convenient to great restaurants. This was the second here we stayed and although the pool was broken the whole time we were there Brandon and Stuart were very apologietic and did all they could to communicate with us what was going on. The location is perfect for families with small children- it’s a 3 minute walk to the beach literally with kids and all the beach gear. Easy to go up and down with kids needing things. 10min walk on the beach to the pier. We’ll be booking a third year this year!

Such a perfect location! Warm weekend in January we decided to take off to the beach and enjoy it. Super clean and cozy condo! Nothing beats that ocean sound putting us to sleep every night. Truly exceeded our expectation. Thanks for the stay and the friendly communication we will return!

Oak Island is a great spot to get away and Toes in the Water is a perfect place to stay for your adventure. Nice pool and extremely easy beach access. Good proximity to the island's restaurants and South Port. Perfect for a couples, friends, or small family get away,

This condo was exactly what we wanted for our week at the beach! It was exactly as pictured and thoroughly clean and welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you will need. The owners thought of so many details that we've never seen in other rentals such as providing paper towels, toilet paper, a few dishwasher and laundry pods, coffee k-cups and even some spices. We're so used to packing all those things so it was nice to know they were there if needed. Their cookware is all modern and in excellent condition. The balcony was wonderful! We sat out there every morning and every evening watching the dolphins swim by. The sunsets were like no other we've seen while staying on the beach. We took a fun ferry ride over to Ft. Fisher and visited the NC aquarium and learned about the turtle nests. We even got to watch and learn from some aquarium volunteers that were tending to some nests right on the beach! The local restaurants were very good. We loved Ruby's coffee shop down by the pier and walked there several times then walked the pier and watched the fisherman. This spot is a gem and we will definitely be back!
