The house is great, everything we needed for a quiet break away in the sun.. apart from a pool but we knew that beforehand. The view from the terrace is amazing. There was just the two of us on holiday but 6 people would have been fine as lots of space.

Los Gigantes was ok but not one of the nicest places we've been to on the island. Having said that we thought we would like to revisit the house again in future.

The villa is situated near a hilltop which gives it the benefit of wonderful views and peace and quiet and the arguable problems of a steep climb on foot from the town centre. The whole house and gardens are very spacious and well appointed with most facilities. In december the sun can be elusive on the terrace.

Absence of pool... but we knew this when booking. We were not supplied with keys to some of the doors and only one key to the front doors which for three of us was a nuisance. We left a message with the agents but they did not return our call.

The apartment is fantastic. Lots of room. Beautiful view from the large terrace. A few meters from the wild mountain side. Quiet. On the negative side (but I stress those are minor points): not much view form inside (thick bars in front of every window), wc tank leak, dishwasher did not clean properly, somewhat complicated light switches (not easy to find the combinations that give light).

We like the village atmosphere of Los Gigantes and have stayed at the Diamond and the Royal Sun Resort that have been excellent but our stay at the Villa Los Gigantes was the best yet with its private balconies and sun terraces overlooking the sea and cliffs. The Villa is well equipped spread over two floors that is cool in the day and warm in the evening the walk to the village or the Lidl supermarket is 10 min so very convenient it may take a little longer on the way back depending how fit you are all in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.
