Very easy to book, the communication before and during the visit were excellent. The chalet would sleep 7 although that would be quite crowded, but we were a group of four and it was ideal.

We had lovely times, Chalet is beautiful and you definitely feel like at home... we hope to come back soon!

Le chalet Mimosa est un superbe endroit pour y passer des vacances réussies. Chalet cosy et très bien équipé, tout y est vaisselle, draps,essuie de toilette, de cuisine etc... Ce chalet a fait l'unanimité de la famille, on s'y est tous sentis chez nous. Bien placé aussi pour prendre les navettes en hiver et la disponibilité et la gentillesse de Jo nous a ravis. Merci Jo.

Chalet was perfect for our family. It’s very well equipped and in a great location for getting in an out for skiing. There’s a small supermarket close by and a bus stop. All in all we’d struggle to do better!

Very comfortable chalet. Location about 15 min walk to centre which was ok for our group re bringing back groceries etc and eating out. Very close to a lift so good for ski in and out.

Perfect location for a chalet in Les Gets. Within easy walking distance to all of the amenities (shops, restaurants, bars, ski lifts). The chalet is very well equipped and has a lovely homely feel.

Well kept and equipped chalet, cute snug upstairs where we played games and watched TV in the evenings. Lovely separate seating area downstairs with a log fire and underfloor heating just what we needed when the weather turned ultra cold. Jo was very helpful with any requests. And chalet situated ideally for ski lifts and free shuttle bus into the village. Hence we shall be booking again

We had an amazing fortnight in the lovely Chalet Mimosa. The Chalet itself was beautiful, and equipped with everything we needed. The large decking area was so lovely for relaxing and barbecuing. Les Gets is a fantastic location with so much to see and do. Jo was brilliant at suggesting activities and days out. The Mosette lift was a particular highlight, with amazing views and a great burger in the restaurant at the top. Lac Montriond was great fun, we hired SUPs on a couple of occasions, and the water was actually quite warm. Overall a fantastic holiday in a wonderful chalet in a perfect location - who could ask for more?

We stayed in Chalet Mimosa in August and can very happily recommend it and would love to go back for another visit. The chalet is located on a pretty road (actually all the roads in Les Gets seemed pretty!) on the outskirts of Les Gets. It's a fairly steep hilly 10-15 min walk to get to the centre of the town with a small food shop 10 mins flatter walk in the opposite direction. The chalet was extremely comfortable, all the rooms were lovely and our boys especially liked the 'snug' upstairs. The decking area was nice to sit outside and have a meal and lovely to be able to hear the stream round the back of the chalet. Idyllic really! Jo Miller contacted us a few days before we were due to head off and met us at the chalet and made sure we'd settled in happily. Chalet Mimosa is a great base to do loads of activities! The closest ski lift wasn't running for the summer but the ones in the centre of Les Gets are. We had a fantastic time visiting Geneva, chamonix, white water rafting, cable car up Mont Chery and walking down, swimming in Les Gets lake and Morzine pool, the luge at Morzine, the stunning Lake Montriond and meeting the goats at Les Lindarets.

This chalet is absolutely amazing. It is wArm and cozy and has everything you need for a perfect vacation. The views are incredible and it is located in z nice quiet spot with a running River in the back yard. Jo is so helpful and accommodating!! I would drfinately trevommend this vacation home !!

Jo was fantastic in keeping us informed and building the excitement for our skiing holiday in Les Gets. She organised everything we needed and arranged for Gordon Dalglish to meet us at the airport. He was brilliant and as he had a bit of extra time he even stopped at a local supermarket to allow us to do our first mega shop while we still had the use of his enormous VW van. Jo was waiting for us when we arrived and showed us round and made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. There were 7 of us and we never ran out of pots/pans, crockery, cutlery or space to relax. The chalet was always warm and we could throw a few logs on the open fire to help with drying the gloves and jackets when needed. We used Nevada Sports to hire our ski equipment and they offer the service to keep the kit overnight which we always used as we met our ski instructor/guide at the Gondola at 9am for the first uplift. Although there is a free bus from the chalet to the village I enjoyed the 1.2km walk as it warmed up the stiff aching muscles. If you're looking for comfort, Alpine charm and good location to the slopes I have no hesitation in recommending the chalet Mimosa.

Not only is the chalet as comfortable and convenient as advertised, the manager, Jo Miller, went to great lengths to ensure that our holiday was memorable.

Super accommodation. Traditional design, homely, clean, well equipped. Nice outdoor space with bbq and furniture as well. Very helpful, friendly owner able to advise on local amenities. Les Gets in the summer was awesome, with lakes for swimming, MTB, great walking, excellent road cycling, well served with bakeries, shops and restaurants. Morzine Harley Days was taking place the first few days. Comes with free live music concerts and quite a spectacle. Absolutely fascinating but if the noise of thousands of Harleys may be a problem for you, then best to check on dates of this biannual event before booking. Delightful stay.....would happily go back if holidaying in the area in the future.

Nous avons passé notre 3ème séjour au Chalet Mimosa, toujours avec le même plaisir. Nous y venons à chaque fois avec nos 2 enfants et une « nounou ». Le chalet est parfait pour 5 personnes (mais sans doute aussi pour 1 ou 2 personnes de plus !). Nous aimons beaucoup son atmosphère chaleureuse, sa décoration personnelle et charmante. On sent que c’est un chalet « habité », pas un chalet juste à louer. Nous y retrouvons très vite nos habitudes et nous y sentons comme chez nous, surtout les enfants pour qui c’est un peu comme une 2ème maison à laquelle ils sont très attachés. Le chalet est bien équipé et on n’y a jamais froid (quel bonheur le chauffage par le sol et la carrelage tiède sous les pieds après une journée de ski). On peut garer sa voiture juste à côté et ne pas s’en servir ensuite car des navettes pour le village passent à proximité. On peut aussi y aller à pied car le centre n’est vraiment pas très loin (les sportifs le feront sans problème avec leurs skis sur l’épaule). Le chalet est bien géré par Joanna Miller, tout est propre quand on arrive, les lits sont faits (comme à l’hôtel!) et s’il y a le moindre problème, il est vite résolu ! L’environnement est calme car le chalet n’est pas mitoyen et les 2 chalets voisins ont toujours été très silencieux. La rivière passe juste derrière et c’est très agréable d’entendre sa musique. On entendra peut-être les chasse-neige ou les dameuses passer parfois pendant la nuit mais après tout c’est la montagne et ces engins sont bien utiles pour skier ou rouler sans danger! La localisation est très pratique pour le ski avec le télésiège des Perrières à quelques dizaines de mètres, ce qui permet de partir et de revenir avec ses skis sans faire la queue aux heures de pointe aux remontées du village. Le télésiège de Perrières et la piste des Mélèzes ne sont pas pour des débutants mais nos enfants les prennent depuis leur 1ère étoile. Et ils adorent plus que tout la piste de luge qui se trouve le long de la piste et où ils finissent leur journée!!! Nous recommandons vraiment le Chalet Mimosa, même si nous prenons ainsi le risque qu’il ne soit pas libre quand nous voudrons le réserver pour la prochaine fois !

Une superbe location, parfaitement située à l’entrée de la station et à 200m du télésiège des Perrières qui donne accès à tout le domaine skiable. Le chalet est très agréable et confortable et correspond parfaitement au descriptif. Le propriétaire est très prévenant et à l’écoute de ses locataires. Nous recommanderions vivement cette location à un ami et serons très heureux d’y retourner l’année prochaine.

Beautiful chalet kitted out with everything you need, extremely close to ski lifts and easy walk into town. Couldn't ask for anything more!
