Perfect accommodations for 4 adult women on a girls weekend. Clean, well appointed and great deck overlooking Cruz Bay. Close walk to town (steep hill) and will definitely stay here again.

A short walk down the hill to Cruz Bay. Perfect to be near the action but also nice to be up on the hill. The unit was nice with great top floor views. Cruz Bay can be loud at night and the music and live bands carries up the hill. The AC units were not all functional so hard to close the windows for sleep. During the day the breezes were great. Love St John.

Unit is as depicted. The unobstructed balcony view of the harbor is amazing. A quick walk to town is fun, although it is a steep hill down. Frank Bay is an easy walk for sunset views, again that hill down! Parking is easy at the unit, less so in town. Property manager was available and kind. She conscientiously took care of a new refrigerator delivery and a hot water issue. We would highly recommend this unit, which has the best balcony on the property! Enjoy your trip here.

Loved that we could walk to town- very convenient but definitely a workout with the steep hills! My husband stayed out on the deck taking the view in whenever we were at the condo. My adult children had their own space in the loft.

We loved this villa, it was clean, had close parking and when the windows were open there was an amazing breeze. From the balcony you can see Cruz bay and at night hear the music from the bars, we enjoyed the closeness! My husband and I walked one night instead of driving the jeep and didn’t find it difficult at all. The only thing I would recommend against is taking small children to this villa, as it is on the third floor and the stairs to get up to the villa are dangerous. We stayed with our almost four year old, and we were very vigilant of her safety, however I should have researched more thoroughly knowing it was on the third floor. Overall an excellent, comfortable villa.

We loved staying here! Great location and conveniently close to Cruz Bay! We enjoyed dipping in the pool to cool off before dinners!

Great property with a memorable hill

The property is just great in every way. The host could not be more helpful and communication is awesome. The quaintness and location of the unit is fantastic. Reall nice pool with an incredible view. Do not hesitate to stay at this property. One of the best VRBOs we’ve stayed at….

Our first time to St. John. Location was great for walking to dinner each night. Every morning by 8:30 we were off to the beaches.

The property was as described. Photos were accurate. Our only complaint would be that there was not enough linens to use the sofa as a bed. A few more towels would have been good too.

This is our forth trip to St. John. In the past we have stayed in the Coral Bay area on the other side of the island. With this trip we were looking for something closer to Cruz Bay. As it was my wife and I and two older daughters we were looking for a two bedroom with separate beds in the second room. We were also looking for something that had a private or community pool. This place checked all the boxes. We actually changed our trip to a week later so we could stay here and we were not disappointed. The balcony is actually a little bigger than it appears in the photos. We spent a lot time out there in the morning and evening. The place worked out great. It is a very short walk to the main Cruz Bay area, but the hill is pretty steep walking back. However it is so close that you can take a couple breaks if needed. We also walked down to Frank Bay to watch a nice sunset. We had a minor issue with the fans while we were there, but the property manager responded immediately and had an electrician there on Saturday to fix the issue. There are beach chairs available to bring to the beach. There is about 20 or so for the Battery Hill complex (about 7 units). While we were staying, we never hadn issue with there not being enough (we did bring two of our own in out suitcase, just in case) We would definitely choose to stay there again.

This was our first trip to St John. Tropical Breeze in Battery Hill was perfect. It was the top floor and the balcony was not covered which allowed for star gazing at night. Just a short walk to what dubbed sunset view with peacocks was amazing. The “hill” walk was quite the trek but amusing until the 3rd trek. Everything was as described. The on-site cooler was a blessing. Beach chairs and noodles were also available. When all the chairs had been claimed, brand new chairs were delivered. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here and are up for some hill climbing, if not, take a taxi. You won’t be disappointed

We had the best time enjoying St. John for the holidays. The property was exactly what we needed for our family of 4 and we would totally stay there again!

Great complex, great unit, great help by Tammy. Complex / unit was just as described. Plenty of room for 5. Only potential issue is the hike up the hill from Cruz Bay -- but more than offset by not having to drive park when eating / drinking by the harbor. Would definitely stay again.

From the minute you walk in the door, you feel at home. Im very happy we chose to stay at your home. Everything was neat and clean, management company was very helpful with any questions. Also, the cooler came in hand for our trips to Trunk and Cinnamon Bay. Window and balcony views of Cruz Bay set this vacation as our favorite. We plan on staying here the next time we come. It is within walking distance of the bars and restaurants, which was nice to not always rely on a rental car or taxis.

I’m always skeptical when booking thru VRBO or Air B n B in lieu of a hotel as my standard of cleanliness is typically much higher than the host properties. I can’t tell you how impressed I was with the entire unit. It was very clean and well maintained. The view of Cruz Bay was breathtaking and the short walk into town made our evening outings more enjoyable. The attention to detail by Tammy was impressive as well. I had shared with her this trip was to spread my husband’s ashes and she took the time to leave a very thoughtful card and note acknowledging this difficult journey which made me feel like I was more than a guest. I could not have been happier with this stay and would highly recommend it and I will definitely book their again. (Just one con: furniture is a bit outdated and not very comfortable being rattan, but we were out most of the time so it didn’t bother us).

This wonderful duplex condo on the top floor of Battery Hill is airy and bright, with outstanding views of Cruz Bay, the hills and other islands. The complex is high above the town (you can see it from the ferry!) but is just a short walk to bars, restaurants and the water. The beamed cathedral ceiling is stunning. The kitchen had everything we needed, as we ate in most nights. Comfy beds and a view of the sea from every room - including the shower!! The salt water pool in the complex was truly lovely, with attractive landscaping. Tammy was super helpful, providing thoughtful touches such as beach toys and other amenities. I can’t say enough about what a great week we had. Book it!!

Great views! Our family loved sitting outside on the balcony and watching all the action below in the bay. The pool was also a fan fav.

This rental felt like a resort haven in paradise. Situated at the top of Battery Hill, the actual constant tropical breeze was awesome even in the mid summer month of August. Tammy was a wonderful trip coordinator !!!!

We booked Tropical Breeze for our destination wedding in April 2020. Due to Covid-19, we had to reschedule our entire wedding to August 2020. Tammy was so helpful working with us to reschedule without penalty. With so many unknowns and last-minute decisions, she was incredible to work with. The condo was PERFECT! The location was easy to find, parking lot was flat, unit was clean, beds were comfortable, view was stunning, kitchen was stocked, beach chairs were comfortable! We will definitely book again and recommend to friends and family!

This is our second time staying here and it didn’t disappoint! Close to town, super clean, communicating with Tammy was great! You also have the beautiful view off the balcony of Cruz Bay! Absolutely wonderful!!!

We spent a week in this great condo and sadly had a leave before we wanted because of this darn virus (things were starting to close down on STJ). The condo was in a great location that allows for walking to Cruz Bay, it was spacious and had everything we needed. At an unprecedented time of changing circumstances, both Tammy (property manager) and Monique (owner) were fabulous to deal with. We look forward to returning!

Exactly as described, worked perfect for my family, Tammy was quick to respond to our questions. Pool was a little cool but refreshing. Great and helpful neighbors! Loved it!

This place is great. We stayed here with our two kids. They loved the loft and having their own bed. Easy to walk into town for dinner. New Years Eve was a little loud and went until 3am. But the band was good at least! Tammy, the manager was great! We had an issue with the WiFi and she came over immediately and helped us by calling the internet company and we were able to get it taken care of. We love this island and this location. Great rental. Thanks!

Tropical Breeze at Battery Hill was amazing. Monique was extremely responsive before and during our stay. The property has amazing views and is a short walk to downtown (Cruz Bay). I'd highly recommend this property and will certainly stay here during my next visit to the Virgin Islands.

We had such a great vacation staying at Tropical Breeze in St. John. The condo was wonderful, the view was spectacular! it is so close to town and the walk to shopping and restaurants took only a few minutes yet it was far enough away that you have your own tranquil spot. I highly recommend it for staying at St. John and we will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit!

This property was perfect. It was clean, convenient and the view was amazing. I puke recommend this to a small family or a couple looking to get away and have there own little piece of paradise. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
