I expect to get what I paid for. We did not pay any sort of a discounted rate. We paid going rate for a one bedroom condo. This is a bare bones condo. Minimal kitchen amenities. No screen door on the balcony door wall, had to ask for one. No updates at all to this condo.Old flooring, old cupboards, old balcony door wall. Tile and tub in bathroom were spray painted with some sort of finish that dripped to cover who knows what! Living room furniture was very dirty. We had to cover it with a sheet to sit on it. Towels were threadbare and owner made an issue of saying he would charge extra if makeup found on linens. Had to ask owner to provide dishes for microwave safe or oven cooking. One dish towel provided. Paint trim chipped and wall paint was in horrible shape. Mostly touch ups over drywall repair. Very dark and dingy space.

Booking, check in and location were all good. Condo was easy to find and everything was in order when I arrived. Kitchen had everything I needed, TV was easy to navigate, and overall a very comfortable place to spend the weekend. Location was near the pier shops. The best way to see the Island is by bike. I would recommend and stay at this condo again. The owner Dave was on top with communication.

We were traveling from Western NC to visit relatives in FL and stayed here on the way down. The host, location, the entire experience was so wonderful we decided to book it again a little over a week later on our way back home. St. Simons and the Beach Walk stay are hidden gems.

This was a great spot…walkable (less than a mile) to beach and to “town”. We enjoyed renting the bikes to explore. My only nit pick is that the towels are really skimpy and there isn’t much shampoo/soap you should plan to bring your own. Also I wish there had been beach towels (it was cold when we were there, so maybe in warmer weather they include them). It’s good for one or two people, but even though it sleeps 4, there would not be a lot of space. Nice place.

Last minute rental which turned out to be great, dry nice condo, great location and host was very easy to work with, an all round winner in our book!

Love the property. Our complaints were the bed was not comfy and way to tall. Furniture could be more comfy and bring your own pillows these were flat. Everything else was great.

Our stay was awesome. Very clean and it was the perfect location. We had a problem with the shower and the owner replied within mins and got the situation handled in great time. We will be staying here again!

This unit provided us with everything we needed, plus free bikes that were in great condition! We enjoyed the balcony, beautiful walkabouts, and the delicious food at local restaurants. We will be back!

Could not get tv's to co-operate. May have been batteries, us. Tried 2 nights to watch Braves game. Found it, just could not get there. Wife had similar experience with bedroom TV. Maybe we are just too senior to stream. Otherwise, just perfect. Thanks for your help with extra night and room access.

This condo was perfect for our week in St. Simons. Property manager went above and beyond to provide helpful information and make sure we were happy and comfortable there! The unit was very clean and cozy! We will definitely rent from them again!

The complex is large with two pools. There is a community area with washers and dryers, which could be a good distance from your building/unit. The unit we rented was in good shape and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and king size. The kitchen is small, but has ample size appliances for food storage and cooking. The downtown is about a mile from the complex. We drove to the beaches. However the complex feels situated close to everything, that makes drives short. Dave provided us all information in a timely manner and responded very quickly.

Loved our stay at this very very clean condo. It was a nice setting, a 2 minute drive/11 minute walk down from the pier and all the restaurants and shops. A perfect location, really. Away from the chaos but not too far. It was nicely updated. I really loved the outdoor seating area on the patio overlooking a really pretty scene. The bed was quite hard. The shower head was very short so my husband who is 5'11" had to bend down very far to wash his hair. Overall these things did not put a damper in our experience, though, and I was very glad we booked this listing!! Excellent, thorough communication from the owner.

I have stayed at a few places in St. Simons and this place is the best. The condo was very clean and updated. The location is great and the availability of the property manager was great. I definitely recommend staying here.

Our stay at Beach Walk was perfect. Close to everything, and the unit is in a lovely complex with friendly people. Really enjoyed the bikes and the balcony was the best place to rewind and savor the close of the day.

The location on Mallery is great- easy walk into main area of restaurants and shops. Easy drive to East Beach and Redfern. Both pools are nice. Bikes were available for use. Place was very clean.

We liked everything about our stay. The rooms were clean and smoke free. The bed was comfortable. Everything was great.

Apartment is spacious, clean, well kept up. 10 minute walk to beach and restaurants. Owner was very responsive to an issue we had with the door lock.

Everything was great the neighborhood was good and quiet the staff excellent foreseen a issue and took care of it before we noticed it. The property itself was very good and well kept. If in the area again I will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed staying at this condo. The pool was nice and it was close to the beach. We also enjoyed riding the bikes to the pier.

Perfect location to anything on the island! The condo was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and plenty of necessary supplies. Fabulous amenities in the complex. The bicycles were in great condition. They made getting around the village or riding to the beach easy. Most importantly, the owner/management was so easy to work with! We never had to wait on a response for any inquiry. There is no doubt, we hope to stay in this condo on our next visit to SSI.
