We loved our stay here. Penny was the perfect host. There was a very helpful book to guide us through the house and Penny was always responsive on text. The villa is a short drive from Grasse and a boulangerie is a few minutes drive, perfect for morning pastries. Sadly it was too cold to use the pool, but it was a charming infinity pool which would be amazing in the Summer. We would definitely come again.

We had a great stay at the villa. A perfect place to relax - by the beautiful pool, on the balcony, having a BBQ on the terrace... The view is amazing. The house is well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back some time :-).

Penny was the most gracious host, even picking up a few bits for our first night at the house. The house itself is well laid out with plenty of space (and bathrooms!) for everyone. Well situated to allow discovery of quaint towns (Valbonne, Vence, Grasse) and also the beaches near Cannes and Mandlieu. Not stroller friendly as there are lots of stairs. Not bike friendly as it's in a hilly area (hence the magnificent views!) overall a pleasant stay and would recommend!

It's great to relax at the pool or read a book on the balcony enjoying the view. The surroundings are also beautiful with lost of things to do and see. Penny is a wonderful host too. Penny is a great host, property was clean and the view is fabulous. The access to the property is a bit challenging as to most of the properties in Provence, but then the view is rewarding. The villa has fantastic views over looking Antibes in the distance. Spacious comfortable villa for 6 adults with bedrooms all on-suite. Fabulous pool and sun lounge area, all located in a quiet hill top above Magagnosc. Penny the owner was at had when ever needed and made us feel very much at home. Although during Covid we were able to visit most sights, play golf, tennis and enjoy everything this beautiful part of the world offers. Thank you Penny. Definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days at Villa "Blue Sky" ! A little difficult to find, high in the hills, up winding roads... but once you are there, it is magical. We ate on the terrace, with a view to the Mediterranean, on most nights with a glass of bubbly, and watched sunrises in the mornings, with a cup of coffee. A good spot for 2 or 3 couples, as all bedrooms are ensuite, and the house is quite comfortable, with space indoors and out. The stairs going up to the house are only difficult with luggage in tow. A handrail would help. Lots of villages to visit within 1/2 hour, even if you don't want to tackle the traffic and parking of coastal cities. Gourdon, Tourettes, Cabris, Mougins, St. Paul de Vence, Valbonne, are all worth a visit. And a day trip to the Gorges du Verdon is a must. Excellent grocery shopping at Casino and amazing new SuperU. Penny is a delightful host, and communications with her via HomeAway or WhatApp were usually prompt. Would definitely recommend a stay.

We really enjoyed our time at the villa, we stayed mostly in the pool with the beautiful views of the French Riveria. We left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed after staying at this zen villa. Penny was a delight and kept in communication throughout and gave us tips on places to visit. Local amenities are a short drive and lots of interesting places to visit In the area such as many hill villages and also bigger towns like Nice nearby. Would love to be back again next year!

Great entertainment provided by a fine selection of videos - fiction and non-fiction. An excellent stock of food and drinks provided for us as specially requested. Plenty of rooms. The one we had was elegant, having all necessary facilities of high quality. In this noise-free environment, sleep came easily. The view from the window facing south provided a heart-warming hello to each morning. On arrival, Penny was present to give a very warm welcome and advise on where to go, what best to see and how best to get there. She remained in touch through WhatsApp if we needed further help. This was a great place to stay with our (twenty-something year old) kids and their friends. There was plenty of space and facilities for everyone so that we could be together or have our own space. The pool was fantastic and the house itself was quiet, calm and relaxing. Whilst the house is not particularly close to shops and restaurants on foot it is perfect for exploring the local hills, villages and coast by car.

Overall a nice property with great view from balcony and lovely clean pool. Having a car is a must and directions to get there could have been clearer as there are multiple ways to get there but directions supplied assume you are on one particular road ( we weren’t !) steep steps to house and not really easy to walk anywhere from the property. Inside was pleasant and homely but dusty and fridge had half eaten food items and opened jars of food which should have been removed between stays.

We had a lovely week staying at the villa, Penny the owner was very helpful and gave us a lot of local info and was extremely welcoming. Both the balcony and pool area provided a lovely place to relax and also had an amazing view of the countryside looking down towards the coast. There were a good selection of supermarkets and restaurants nearby and the villa was ideally situated for both countryside and the Côte d’Azur resorts. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

We had a wonderful time! Penelope was wonderful to work with and the house had the most breathtaking views. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Grasse.

This was a perfect spot for two couples, although there is room for three couples. The house was roomy and private, and the sunny terrace overlooking the pool was perfect for breakfast and evening meals too. Everything was as described, and we would love to return.

Everything was ready to perfection. We enjoyed the pool and the beautiful gardens in the privacy of a quiet and spiritual atmosphere in connection with Nature and not far away from the see. The house is beautiful and full of interesting corners and books. The views are breathtaking. We were very happy in our stay and for sure intend to come back in a next opportunity. Penny Burns is an ever attentive and discrete host full of charm and always ready to help with directions and good advise about the region.

All ready and in excellent order when we arrived. Very pleasant welcome and a hostess who knows the Cote d'Azur intimately and gives great advice on where to go and what to see. Very comfortable rooms and fabulous garden. Can even take in the great views lying on your back in the pool. Will definitely go again.

A spacious, comfortable house of character with a lovely view. It was a delight every morning to open the shutters and sit in the sunshine on the veranda. We found plenty of places to visit within easy reach, alternating our outings with lazy days relaxing at the house and enjoying the pool. We ate out several times both locally in Grasse and further afield - Nice and Menton - and were lucky every time with the restaurants we chose.

I stayed at Penny's lovely home for a week and had a very relaxing time. The house is set in a very tranquil environment with amazing views. I'm also a big hiker and walker and was pleased to find a good walking trail behind her house - definitely worth a visit. The house itself is beautifully decorated and really felt like a home away from home. Even though it was still a little chilly I did also give the pool a try! Thanks Penny for a lovely stay.

Blue Sky was a fantastic place to relax for all the family. It provided the perfect combination of swimming, sunbathing and spacious accommodation to suit the sunny and hot weather of Provence. It was a great setting for the family to be together, well-equipped and a good location from which to visit the many sights of Provence including:- the stunning hill-top villages of Gourdon and Castellan; as well as touring the historic towns of Grasse, Vence and Nice where there were lots and lots of good restaurants to choose from. We went as a family and had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. A car is essential but there is a very good bus service from the village which is very reasonably priced (1.5 euros regardless of the journey length). The location of the villa high up on the hillside provides spectacular views of the valley below. we enjoyed our evenings spent on the balcony watching the sunset.

Just back from a fabulous stay at Blue Sky Beautiful Villa, couldn't of picked a nicer place to stay. views from balcony, amazing!! Pool lovely, especially after a day out sightseeing.
