The townhouse was lovely and peaceful with a beautiful golf course view. We enjoyed visiting the pool and meeting many friendly residents. Darlene, the host, was extremely helpful and pleasant. She gave us lots of great suggestions and information on restaurants and activities nearby. I would definitely rent this property again.

Everything about Darlene's place was PERFECT for my husband and I! We enjoyed everything about her beautiful home in Rio Verde! When we arrived we found the place immaculately clean- top to bottom. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with all of the dishes, utensils and appliances one would ever need. We enjoyed using the gas grill on the pretty outdoor patio where we ate meals, watched the birds and felt the sunshine-RIGHT ON the golf course!! Watch out for flying golf balls ;) ! The location of her place couldn't have been more convenient as we could walk just a few minutes to the pool, community/fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts, post office and the lovely General Store. If we had any questions, Darlene was just a quick text away and was always very responsive. We would surely rent this property again! Loved it!

This townhouse is fully equipped with everything you might need for a long term comfortable stay. I found the beds to be very comfortable. The manager/owner is responsive to any question or concerns. The location is very convenient to walk to the community center and country golf club restaurants. Nice golf course view and nice neighbors. It's a winner!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Darlene's home in Rio Verde. It was beautiful and clean, sitting right along the fairway of hole #1. We were able to ride our mountain bikes easily onto the trails of McDowell park and then afterwards walk to the pool. We picked fresh lemons from her tree and watched beautiful sunsets. We also played golf at several public courses in nearby Fountain Hills. This was our first visit to Arizona and Darlene's hospitality made the trip so comfortable and seamless. She provided us with lots of useful information and made herself available to any needs that might arise. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a wonderful vacation.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this beautifully decorated townhouse that is extremely well stocked and that has very comfortable furniture, and a lovely patio with an easy to use gas grill.
We also thoroughly enjoyed the amenities available through the Rio Verde HOA, especially pickleball, dance and exercise classes, and swimming.
Finally, we found the Rio Verde community very welcoming and Darlene to be extremely responsive.
We are likely to stay there again.

Clean and had everything needed for our 7 day stay. Will recommend to others who would like to stay in that area of Scottsdale. We didn’t have time to use the facilities such as the pool or fitness center available or the golf course. There is also a church just down the street. A secure place for those over 50. Nice patio to enjoy the birds and sunsets.

Haven for Older Couple
We stayed for two months and found this place perfect for our needs and limitations. It was well decorated with SW pictures and pottery, etc. which I would not recommend for active children. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and convenient. What can I say.....it was great! Thank you, Darlene!

Relaxing in Rio Verde
Great location if you want to be in a quiet spot east of Scottsdale. Owner was very responsive and caring. When there was an issue with the tv she had a new one delivered and installed in a day! Plus gave us a generous credit which was not really necessary but appreciated. Kitchen is well stocked with anything you need and there is a relaxing patio overlooking the golf fairway.

Fabulous stay in Rio Verde
My wife and I fell in love with this house and the Rio Verde area. The house is located on the fairway of hole #1 and is within walking distance of the restaurant, pool, and fitness center. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. There are also numerous hiking and biking trails very close by. The house is very well equipped and has everything you may need for an extended stay. Comfortable bedding, sheets, pillows, etc. Very friendly community. Can't say enough about this gem.

Wonderful Rio Verde property and fabulous Mountain View
We were lucky enough to find this property as our parents live in Tonto Verde and it is very hard to find rentals in AZ in January.
Darlene was a wonderful owner and made everything from the booking process, to the check-in process and then check-out so easy and smooth. The house was immaculate and it felt just like home with all the kitchen supplies and linens, etc.
Coming from a colder climate north, we throughly enjoyed each night on the patio with the amazing and spectacular sunsets! The neighbors were so friendly and the SUPER close access to the pool and community center were perfect for daily swims!!
We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back and visit again. I can’t recommend this home highly enough! It was perfect for our family of 4 or a great couples escape 😊

Perfect little house right on the golf course
Close to community center, restaurant and pro shop. Nice landscape. Beautifully appointed in every room. Kitchen has everything you need, and a grill on the patio. Both bathrooms just remodeled. Highly recommended.

Thoughtfully decorated and updated
Excellent communication. Owner has spent a lot of money and personal effort updating this home and it feels like a home and not a rental. Great views and walking distance to pool, golf and club restaurant.

Better than hotel for the same price
The value of this, like many, VRBO properties is great compared to hotels. The only downside is the Security deposit, but if you don't leave a mess, and treat it like your own place, that becomes a non-issue.
On a golf course, walking distance to exercise room and pool. Great big windows for views, and equally nice blinds for complete privacy.

Everything about this townhouse far surpassed our expectations. Darlene has thought of 'EVERYTHING'. Any questions; which were few - were addressed immediately. Location is easily accessible to pool, hot tub, and golf - everything is a 2 minute walk. FYI: I'm a low-handicap golfer - the 2 courses on site are scenic and playable. Although I played as a guest, I was treated as one would expect at a private course. EVERYONE was extremely kind and welcoming!! We hope to be back next year!!

Lovely home in beautiful setting
We stayed for a week in Darlene’s lovely home and thoroughly enjoyed it. Every morning we had our breakfast on the patio and we watched the golfers who were out early. The house was super clean and all the decor was beautiful. She has any type of utensil, dish, glasses, etc. that you could ever need. The king bed was super comfortable. The towels were very nice. The area is very quiet. We’ve rented three other houses in the past and Darlene’s was by far the very best. We would definitely highly recommend staying at Darlene’s house. She was also quick to respond to any questions we had.

Great golf location
Every spring, my wife and I get away for a golf vacation. This year we stayed at Darla's place in Rio Verde AZ. What a great spot. Located right on the first hole of the White Wing course, we got to enjoy watching people play their way down the course on her spacious patio.
The home had everything one would want. Darla had all the supplies needed for your stay. The king bed was very comfortable and unlike many places we have stayed, she had very comfortable living room chairs for watching her 60" TV.
All in all, a wonderful place for a golf vacation. We will return!
PS: You must dine at the Mesquite Grill at the Tonto Verde Golf Club a mile up the road.

Beautiful Place; Great Location
This perfect getaway in Rio Verde was spotlessly clean and organized--we had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the back patio and watching (and listening to) all of the birds that came to visit. Darlene was a very helpful host, and responded immediately to all of our questions. We really enjoyed our stay, and hope to visit again soon!

Great Sunsets from This Property
Loved the property. Saw and took pictures of beautiful sunsets with a great view on the golf course. Also watched the eclipse of the moon from the back deck. Near the clubhouse and the facility met all of our needs. I highly recommend staying here. Our experience was top notch. Lovely neighbors as well. Be prepared to wave as you pass by the residents of this welcoming and friendly community.

The property was wonderful: peaceful, quiet and great views! It was spacious and very well stocked with toiletries in bathrooms, and utensils in the kitchen. Would love to stay here again. Darlene was quick to respond to all questions. What a find!
