Our room was on the top floor of a 17 th century building . It had plenty of character but of course not the comfort level of a modern apartment . It was very cosy but had a terrace outside which was lovely . There are a lot of stairs 73 from entrance so pack light as their is no lift . We had a very late arrival but our host met us and helped us with our heavy bags , up the many steps He was very helpful with his suggestions and couldn’t have been more friendly . Great location so we chose not to self cater so can’t comment on the cooking facilities.except to say the kitchen was very compact as was the bathroom . The bed was super comfy and all very clean .We enjoyed our stay and got a good workout .

The washing machine did not work . I thought I was doing something wrong but even after our host set it the clothes were not washed properly and the clothes were dripping wet . I didn’t get a chance to mention this to our hosts . I’m sure they will fix this

Beautiful building and fantastic location. Well equipped with a very comfortable bed and good kitchen equipment. Amazing to stay in such an historic part of the city.

Air conditioning would have been very much appreciated although the fans did help. It is also quite small so can feel a little close quarters when two people are staying there

The location within the centre of Toulouse meant easy access to much sightseeing. Its historical background linked to the City of Toulouse made it a very special place to call home during our visit.

Nothing …we had the studio which is small but we were aware of its size prior to the visit. Heads up that it is on the top floor and does get warm. The owners provided to fans that helped make us feel comfortable.

Beautiful building, very centrally located to shops, restaurants, museums. Well appointed kitchen and bathroom. Lots of guest information provided.

No shower door and hard to keep the floor dry. Very hot at night with no air conditioning and noisy with fans working.

Nothing - it was all good! It’s worth mentioning the the 70spiral steps to the room - we loved them, as they add to the character of the place, but might be a few steps too far for less fit people!

We loved the quirkiness of the property, its location, the quiet and the way it was set up. Staying somewhere so historic and so beautiful was great. Antoine was very helpful.

Really nice flat at the top floor. No elevator, but I only had hand-luggage, so no problem. Apartment was super-clean, and the shower much better than I even have at home. Lots of plates, cutlery, glasses, pans and everything you could possibly need. Very quiet, couldn't hear anything from the flats below. Nice and large terrace, although I didn't use it due to pretty coldish weather. Probably perfect during spring, summer and early autumn.

The bed was ok, but it's not a real bed, but a foldable sofa-bed. So the mattress has some minor "bumps" and also is not 100% level. I still slept without any problems, but if you are two persons it might be harder to find the "best place" on the mattress.

The building was very old and full of character in a very central part of town. Despite the central location it was very quiet. There were plenty of excellent bars and places to eat. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. The apartment was well equipped and plenty of style.

Our room was in the attic and was very compact. There are two flights of stairs to climb but all worth it, to stay in such an old and interesting building. It felt a bit like an artist's garret….home from home after visiting the Van Gaugh experience in the turbine building next to the weir on the river.
