het aangename ontvangst van de gastvrouw waar we reeds van 1week vooraf een whatsapp kregen zodat we goed konden communiceren. de terras-tuin met tuinset waar we het meeste tijd doorbrachten onder de parasol. Dat er een diepvries aanwezig was. parkeerplaats aan de chalet. mooi uitzicht naar het riet en de stroom van allersoorten bootjes.
We waren daar op zeer warme dagen en voor ons wat te warm in de chalet. Enkel 2 ventilators maar kregen het hiermee niet afgekoeld en buiten blijven was vanaf valavond een probleem door de aanwezigheid van veel muggen. 's ochtends om 5u met de voordeur open was het beste moment om te slapen.

Great location! The owners welcomed us very well, the house was clean, we found everything we needed. We felt at home! We will definitely be back!

Best location, ambiance around the chalet is really good. Highly recommend for the stay. Very close to giethoorn town.
Had to carry our own bed linen, towels, pillow covers. It would have been good if provided by the host considering the cost

Pretty chalet, there's a nice terrace in front of the chalet where you can enjoy the breeze... It has all the appliances and very clean, ideal to laze around and enjoy the view the whole day inside the chalet. There is a bicycle free to use. The host was very friendly! He drove us to the bus stop on the check out day!
the second room was really for kids as it was rather small. Better when you drive, as we didn't, the nearest bus stop is 1.5 KM away and another 2 KM away to central Giethoorn where you can find restaurant, or supermarket. Not bad, just need anticipation :D
