We had a great time at the cottage and the private swimming pool was super to have all to ourselves. The property itself is well-equipped and it wasn’t overly hot as there are shutters which keeps the sun out on hot days. The location is in a beautiful spot upon a hill, but it is quite far from everything, so a car is a must. We enjoyed forest walks as well. Our hosts were very helpful and responsive and sorted out any problems we had swiftly. I also enjoyed the yoga classes offered.

We had a really pleasant weeks stay. Martin and Svedana are very accommodating hosts and communicated readily prior to our stay and during. Whilst their property is only next door they maintain a discreet distance. The children really enjoyed the pool and the garden. The house is simply furnished but comfortable. A car is essential if staying in this location as it is rural, therefore if you want to walk into a resort in the evening for food and drinks this is not the location. The bathrooms are a little dated and would benefit from a spruce up. Svedana is a talented yoga instructor and as a family we had a yoga class which was pitched perfectly for us as yoga beginners. Thank you!

We had a lovely and relaxing 2 weeks at Lavender cottage in August 2022. The area is beautiful, 20 minutes outside of Varna, up in the hills, and a good central location for trips to Varna and further afield. The house overlooks a forest and the swimming pool is stunning. The house has everything you need and the owners are very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend and would happily return!

We had a good time in the beautiful cottage in Oreshak near Varna.. It is very quiet place where we enjoyed comfort and nature. We spend a lot of our time outside on the terrace and in the garden. The pool is a wonderful asset of the house. Just like the abundance of plum trees. There are enough rooms to accommodate 2 families. The owners who live next door, were really friendly and helpful. The house is at some distance to supermarkets but with a car it is all doable. Bathrooms could use some upkeep. All in all, we had a wonderful and luxurious stay.

Lavender cottage is perfectly situated in an absolutely outstanding area of natural beauty which is amazing to explore. The owners Martin and Sevdana are lovely and the neighbours and other locals are so welcoming you feel like you were meant to be there. The cottage is lovely, perfect for our family, with the pool that kept our small children (4 and 6) entertained for hours and is big enough for us to have spent a lot of time in too! We have designs to go back and take others as the cottage is also perfect for 2 families with plenty of living space. We found having a car very useful, and enjoyed the break from 'screen time' but I would recommend taking dvds or a devise if digital entertainment is required, we loved relaxing and listening to the frogs in the evening. We were not specifically going for the yoga however we did join in 2 classes which were brilliant, Sevdana is really lovely and obviously an experienced yoga teacher who we would like to utilise her skills more on our next visit. I cannot recommend lavender cottage enough it was truly a wonderful place for our family holiday.

The villa is really away from the civilization - area is green, hilly and quiet. It is good place to rest. The villa is clean and very well equipped. You can spend day at the swimming pool or go to beach at Albena which is wide, clean and suitable for children. It is about 20 min by car. Sevdana and Martin are helpful. We really recommend this place for two families - you will not regret. The only problem are roads in the village which are in bad condition.
