We appreciated having everything on one level, and the split bedroom design and large living area made the home very comfortable. It is a nicely furnished home with a large, well-equipped kitchen. And it was clean and well-maintained. There's just a small view of the Gulf from the home, but it's a short walk to the beach and feels relatively secluded, set back on a short street, with trees around it. And we appreciated that we could have our small dog along with us. We would recommend this rental to others and also recommend Forgotten Shores Properties.

The house was the perfect size for our family of 5 and the Sunday-Sunday rental was ideal with little traffic coming into or leaving the island.The house is well-appointed with a convenient location to the beach and the pool (on nearby Magnolia Lane). A block and a half from the beach down a path or on the road so super convenient. Neither beach nor pool were ever crowded at all!We loved being in the plantation for pool access and Bob Sike’s Cut for a beautiful sunset. My son hoped to fish but could not find anywhere on the island to rent a pole.The only two downsides to the house were no garbage disposal on sink (which may be due to the plumbing situation on the island) and only a charcoal grill (not gas). Other than those two minor things, we loved Finally and hope to be back for another visit!

The two community pools within the Plantation were very close to the rental and Massive. Most of the time we had them all to ourselves. The Beach is a short walk around the corner which was made even easier with the free beach equipment and wagon that were provided with the rental. Another great surprise was the ocean views from the porch and Crows Nest. We were able to see Dolphins from the porch or the beach almost everyday. The home overall was very comfortable with plenty of seating and more than enough space for our family of 4. We had no problems whatsoever with anything. If I had any recommendations at all it would be for the owner to add games to the home. We brought some card games of our own but we do enjoy board games and such on those rainy days or sunburned evenings and it’s fun to see what rentals have and play games that you never have or haven’t in a while.

Not sure where to start...great location with a Gulf view, beautiful deck and widow's walk, great living room and beautiful, spacious kitchen and laundry area and the beds were super comfortable. We walked to the beach access most days (not even 5 minutes) and rode bikes, sat waterside for hours. It was incredibly peaceful. We loved being so close to the water without paying front tier prices not to mention alot less wind than beachfront but you could still see AND hear the waves from the deck and widow's walk. Plus, with just the two us and not wanting the condo experience, it isn't always easy finding a house that's just the right size. This house fit the bill. We ventured out, here and there, to grab some things from the market but there restaurants and bars you can go to if you get cabin fever. We've had many a fun night at Harry A's and good eats at BJs Pizza. The island has so much to offer. But again, this trip, we stayed close to home which was the best place to be. I also need to commend Jamie and the rental/management company. They were friendly and quickly responded to any questions I had. The house is beautiful and you can't beat the location; it's definitely where you want to be if you're looking for tranquility and a restorative getaway. We'll be back.

This property was better stocked with supplies than any property we have stayed at on SGI. Lindsay and Jamie at Forgotten Shores were really helpful and easy to work with when we changed the dates of our stay twice. We would rent this or another property from Forgotten Shores again. Such a sweet property !! Spotlessly clean upon our arrival. Loved the layout - open with high ceilings and master suites on both end. The 3/4 covered porch around the home was a real highlight for us. We loved sitting outside n the deck in the evenings , where we could see and hear the ocean easily. The privacy of the property was ideal for us. We would love to come back. Always love the Plantation - so quiet we could hear a pin drop at night. Finally was just the right place for us at the right time !

We had an amazing time at Finally! The house was very clean, updated, well stocked, and honestly, perfect. It was so close to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood . We loved the decks and taking walks in the neighborhood and on the beach. We wished we didn’t have to leave! Would highly recommend and would love to return. Thank you!

A beautiful beach home. The only complaints are, there were insects throughout the house and saw roaches in the kitchen. Also, for our stay of 5 days…we were limited towels and wash clothes. True we had a washer and dryer.

Finally was a very clean and comfortable house with easy access to the beach. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we had several locations from which we could view the Gulf.It was close to the community fitness center & pool with an easy bike ride to the Sikes Cut.
