We loved jerry the barman. He was so welcoming and passionate for his guests. He made us feel very welcome, without him our stay in rhodes would not have been the same. We enjoyed the food, there was a lot of choice with the main courses- breakfast was the best of all meals. We loved the ice cream and crepe bar!

We had an ant problem, ants had made a line into our room and on our bed We raised this but they explained this is a bad problem this year. Nothing was done about it. We sorted this ourselves with baby powder. We found the main courses sometimes contained far too much pepper to the point it was not edible. There was not much choice with deserts, same every night. The mattress was in need of a change as the springs were very hard. We had to give our key in the morning in order to get our room cleaned, they explained our room was the only one like this as they only had one key. Not sure why they didn't get another one made as it was pretty annoying not being able to go into your room for a few hours every morning. Shower kept going from hot to cold. On the last day the whole area had no water. They only provided guests with bottled water. They could have easily went to the supermarket and ordered lots of soft drinks etc but didn't offer this. Water was off from 7am till 5pm

the staff was very helpful, friendly and smiling. clean and nice rooms and a swimming pool. the food is very tasty and a good selection

- The first day there was not hot water. So we took cold shower. - There were ants everywhere on the floor. - Not big variety of food that is offered. - For 3 days they changed the bed sheets only once and we got only 1 new towel. - We saw that the cleaner was washing the floor in the hotel with the water from the pool.

Breakfast great and the inclusive meals also - plenty of decent well cooked food and a lot of greek food included. The Folklore museum in Lardos was exceptional. The staff were exteremly friendly and helpful. The hotel is well equipped and the pool and grounds very nice.

Location OK except water works being carried out, including digging up the road outside our hotel and a day with the water turned off so no toilets or bathing facilities. Therefore often noisy with digging machinery and vehicles and diesel smell just outside the hotel. We arrived in early May and it was quite cold and provided with a sheet on the bed. When we asked for bedding we were given a scratchy blanket. The pillows felt like balloons to sleep on and the mattress was hard. We got used to it and I understand that the weather is most often sweltering so only a sheet needed.

We loved how friendly and helpful all the staff were, nothing seemed to much, Jerry on the bar made every evening as special as possible his personality is amazing really good man, food was lovely good range of choices we had a private room with pool which was great ,really lovely staff and fabulous place we can't wait to come back.

we booked a honeymoon suite and it didn’t disappoint! beautiful pool and room.. the highlight was the barman Jerry who served us! such a lovely welcoming guy, we had so much fun! definately re come d the Jerry special, he made our stay here brilliant!

Location was great, We had a private pool that was lovely. The area was quiet. The only reason we would return would be for the private pool.

Room was small and stated Tea/coffee making facilities, this consisted of a kettle that you had to hold the button to boil. we asked for spoons and cups having bought our own tea and coffee to be told we needed to buy these too at the shop opposite. The Surface area above the sink was not clean. The area around the shower was not clean. There were ants both inside and outside. The maids came round early in the mornings without any pre-warning, there were no Do Not Disturb signs should you wish to lie in. Food and drink was also awful, tried once and decided to eat/drink elsewhere.

+++ Hotel gave us possibility for faster check in (about 3.5 hours faster). Once we arrived, room was available in 15 mins. We could start to use all facilities and all inclusive program from check in time. Very kind people on reception desk. I saw people who had late airport pick up, they could also use hotel facilities till pick up time. + sea view from the room + nice and kind staff (Jerry from the pool bar is the best bartender) + very tasty food (one of the best Quality and the best taste based on my previous all inclusive trips). In 99% of cases, no need to use salt and pepper. + food variety (also some regional cuisine) + Daily room cleaning + near to the beach about 150m (mixed = sand and rock beach) + aircon included in the price + bus stop 10m from the hotel (just few stops from Pefkos and Lindos) + very big, nice and comfortable beds + wine (from Crete) and beer quality (Zephyros) Other notes: Hotel is located in quite small city but I enjoyed this. Not a lot of people on the beach or on the Street. Few supermarkets open till late evening. It is possible to rent a car on reception from HB rent a car. Hotel is medium I would say. About 60 rooms more or less. Most of the time enough quantity of the sunbeds near to the pool because people who lived on the ground (level 0) had own pool so they rarely used public pool. You will not see any animations there. During our stay 90% of guests came from Germany. Others mainly from UK but this was an advantage for us. Remeber about the price. Belmare is not the cheapest hotel on the Island but also not very expensive so you should not expect luxury.

- nothing, everything was good. Stay at Belmare exceeded my expectations Small minus: not enough places on the evening near to pool bar (mostly between 7 - 9p.m.). Some people had to use sunbeds to drink and enjoy evenings.

We spend an amazing time in Belmare Hotel. We really recommend it! If they have the possibility they will upgrate you for a better room, that's what happened to us: we finally got a room with a private swimming pool and a little garden for the same initial prize. The location is very good, not to far by bus from Lindos, a "must see" location in the island. There are also busses driving from Rhodos to Belmare hotel, you don't need to rent a car. We were welcomed by a lovely person, Athanasia who introduced us to the place and all the staff was very nice and polite. With the all inclusiv formula, you get to eat good food and taste all the special cocktails that Jerry the barman will propose you, that was a lot of fun!

Just one detail: the drinks at the restaurant could be a bit better regarding the quality.

The place is really quiet and right next to the sea, plenty of restaurants right next to it, car rental right around the corner, the rooms are big and with the pool it's just rare, and the bartender Jerry is one of the most amazing and nice people in the world who just works magic with his hands with the really delicious drinks!!!!

The water flow in the showers was weak

they were very friendly and very welcoming, they will go out their way to make you happy. I love this place I will return.

Good size rooms and the private swim up pool was perfect. It was a really lovely place to relax.

The bathroom was small, a bit dated and you could barely move in the shower but the rest of the room made up for it.

I liked the pool on the room’s balcony.

When we arrived we had no room, even if we booked and paid 2 months before. They send us to another hotel for one night and the next morning we needed to pack all bags again and come back. They offered us “all inclusive” for all our staying instead. The hotel was clean, but the room was very used.The pool from our balcony was very nice tho and a pleasure to stay outside during the evening. The air conditioner machine could not cope and was extremely hot in the room, also during the night. We had no water for shower one day, all day, so we were unable to wash until next morning 😳 The stuff was very unprofessional and disorganized; we managed to get along only with one lady, Maria - she was professional and nice, but all the rest was untrained and very disrespectful. “All inclusive” was not all inclusive, same menu every time we ate and we ate only 2 dinners, 1 lunch and 1 breakfast in 7 days. The waiters were uninvolved and always bored and at the pool the cocktails are just an imitation, made from syrup. I use to travel 8-15 times a year and this experience was by far, the worst.
