The view really is that spectacular! Carlos is the most charming and helpful host. Given our family of 14, aged from 3 to 73, some pescatarians, one who hates fish, 3 grandchildren with dietary restrictions, and one who's just a picky eater, we all were perfectly fed by Jose and Guadalupe. Jimmy handled our day to day requests and needs impeccably. His warmth and joy greeted us every morning and his smoothies and drinks are already missed.. We rented both the 50' boat for fishing and the 75' boat for snorkeling, etc.. The sunset we experienced on the latter was magical. During our stay, there were several house issues that occurred, but we were extremely impressed with how they were handled. I wished the pool was heated, but because it's beautifully settled in the shade we at least didn't need to use sunscreen.. All in all, I cannot say enough how great our week was. We'd go back in a heartbeat. Thank you.

Carlos is an amazing host. His Villa is beautiful, clean and very roomy. His house staff is “out of this world”. The delicious meals prepared by Jose and Guadalupe were 5 ⭐️. Jimmy was always there to help us..and the most attentive bartender. Carol and Bianca kept the house spotless..despite 12 people..including 6 teenagers!!!! Jimmy served as driver…even to the dr. You will not be disappointed in this VRBO. On top of that, Costa Rica is beautiful!!!!

Our family of 13 spent a week at Villa Preciosa to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Grandparents, kids, and grandkids (6 between the ages of 7 and 14). The villa lives up to everything that you see on the site and incredibly the staff is even better!! They are super people that cater to your every need, which can be a challenge when addressing the preferences of kids. Jimmy covers all of the bases: bartender, smoothie maker (kids favorite), driver, entertainer with an incredible, contagious personality. Jose the chef assisted by Guadalupe, is a fantastic cook! All of the meals were great! The housekeepers also kept the place immaculate! Carlos, the owner, made frequent visits to the villa to make sure that any of our needs were met. While we were there, we also made use of one of his boats which can be chartered. A snorkeling/beach activity trip followed up by a fishing charter were great! The captain and staff were super, helping the kids, always at the ready, whether fitting snorkel gear or helping with the fishing. While at the villa, you should make use of Lupita. She was fantastic, arranging for any local, and not so local activities (river falls hike, rain forest hanging bridges, coffee tour, zip lining). She has a great staff of drivers, comfortable and clean vans/buses and tour guides that made our trip over the top. Our visit truly fulfilled the meaning of the Pura Vida!!

We had such a wonderful time at Villa Preciosa. Everything was as described and the estate was gorgeous. This place was worth every penny. We had a wedding for 15 at the villa and they were so helpful and accommodating. They made us feel so welcomed. Carlos and his staff were darlings especially our bartender, Jimmy. The food was delicious and the drinks were flowing. The staff was truly the reason we all had such a memorable experience. We would book again just for Jimmy. His drinks were that good! We all just loved him so much. Thank you for helping us make our little dream wedding come true. It was more than we could have imagined. Pura Vida!!

Cannot overstate how perfect our vacation has been! The villa and pool is spectacular and the views are amazing! But the best part was the staff. We had a wonderful experience! The view from the property, especially the pool, was gorgeous. Jimmy and all the staff were great. The owner even checked in to be sure everything was in order. Loved it!

Leading up to the trip we found it hard to believe that one place could have so many 5 start reviews. However, once we got there, we could see why. This place will not disappoint. The views are incredible, the food was five star and the villa is perfect. What made the experience above all others for us was the amazing staff. We felt like we were family and were treated with such kindness and generosity every day. A big thanks to Carlos, Jimmy, Jose, Guadalupe, Karol and Bianca. You made our week! As far as activities go, we would definitely recommend the fishing and boat tours on the Atenea Yacht. Those were by far our favorite days other than just enjoying the villa. If you already have your trip planned, you are in for a real treat. If you are still undecided, book it now. It will be the best decision you will make! Thanks Carlos from your Canadian friends.

House and staff were fabulous for our group of 14 people. Everything was just as advertised and we had an unforgettable trip.

This house was absolutely wonderful with a view to be surpassed by no other! The house is spacious and very clean. The staff was extremely accomodating . The food was fabulous and the afternoon and evening drinks were delicious!! You just drive the hill and arrive at a beautiful beach with monkeys swinging in the trees. We couldn't have had a more enjoyable time. My children and grandchildren will remember it foerever. Thank you Jimmy, Jose, Carlos and the ladies!!!!!

We took our whole family to Costa Rica! The Villa was so spacious and comfortable. We had lots of room for our kids and grandkids to have quiet separate spaces. And, large spaces to gather and enjoy each other. It was really great to have delicious food and beverages prepared for us. Chef Jose and Guadalupe did an excellent job preparing food for us and more simple fare for toddlers. Jimmy was so accommodating and hospitable. Preparing our favorite drinks as well as driving us to local spots. He took great care of us! Villa preciousa perfectly encapsulates the pura vida experience. The house itself is at once stunning and homey. What makes the experience so wonderful is the amazing staff. Jose and Guadalope’s food is beyond delicious to both the seasoned foodie and those with less adventurous palettes. We experienced local Costa Rican food and looked forward to our next meal at the end of our current one!! They were very flexible at accommodating our varying needs. The bartender, Jimmy, is so much more than that. His drinks were spectacular for those who enjoy alcohol and those who don’t. Jimmy is also an amazing driver and tour guide and does everything with a beaming smile. We already miss him. Carlos was so kind, accommodating, and present. He graciously reccomended our activities (if you do the Rincón trail, ask for Ray!!) and was a warming presence in the house every day. The cleaning staff was efficient, thorough, and totally unobtrusive. We cannot recommend this place enough.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay. The home fit our party of 14 perfectly. We visited Costa Rica on a company retreat and can’t wait to come back. The staff was phenomenal! Once we arrived, we realized we had truly stumbled upon THE greatest Villa and staff! Jimmy was incapable of making a bad drink, Jose and Guadalupe cranked our one gourmet meal after another, and Bianca and Karol made sure our rooms were consistently clean. This trip was beyond 5 stars! It was an experience of a lifetime and one we will never forget. Our group of 6 couples (friends for over 20 years) took in every ounce of it. Our annual week together was a great week at the villa. The house was as described, the staff accommodating and the owner gracious and helpful with excursions. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in Costa Rica.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Preciosa. Carlos was so helpful, responsive, and assisted with all of our vacation needs. The staff is excellent. Jimmy, Jose, Guadalupe, and the rest of the team made our stay perfect. The house is absolutely beautiful with amazing views but the service and food made it complete. We will definitely stay again. A wonderful and relaxing week. Carlos the property manager was out of town but Jimmy took care of all of our needs and was in contact with Carlos whenever we had a question. Perfect for large groups of adults. Food was delicious and accommodating to dietary needs. Service was outstanding.

We were a group of 10 women and we had so much fun in Costa Rica The views were so beautiful from this home. All bedrooms have ocean views and the staff was so in service:) The meals were amazing -- We had space to dance and sing at night and swim during the day on the pretty lanai. We also rented the boat and had a super fun experience with lovely snacks and dolphins swimming next to the boat on our return.

Our group stayed at the villa for two weeks and had a wonderful time. Jimmy the house manager/ bartender/ van driver and so much more, took wonderful care of us with great drinks and smoothies and also attended to anything we needed. The food was wonderful with Chef Jose and his help providing three meals a day. Carlos, the owner stopped by every day to help book trips or transportation to wherever we wanted to go. The pool offers wonderful sunny mornings with plenty of shade during the afternoons. The house is as advertised and our group would recommend it to future travelers

We were a group of 12 women who travel yearly and I this villa and the entire experience was our best. Starting with the communication with Carlos- unbelievably responsive! Carlos went above and beyond before our arrival and definitely during our stay. You will not find a more attentive owner! The staff- WOW! They are amazing from service to food to entertainment. Jimmy is the front man/bartender and he is perfect for the job. He was entertaining and incredibly polite. Jose is a very talented chef. We never had a bad meal and we ate a lot!! The girls did a lot of work out of the spotlight and together they all are a phenomenal team. Be sure to charter the boat. We did the beach bbq all day and it did not disappoint. Then we chartered a half day fishing. We had so much fun we charter another half day fishing. We caught lots of fish and they cooked it for us at night. The boat crew is just as amazing as the villa staff. On top of the fish we had dolphins entertaining us, whales, turtles, jumping fish and manta rays jumping out of the water. I booked this property mostly because of the consistency of the five star reviews and it is very well deserved! Don’t miss out on this wonderful property and team!! If they kept twelve fussy women happy they should get 10 stars!

The Villa and staff were absolutely amazing. The house did not disappoint. Very clean and comfortable. Loved waking up to the gorgeous view every morning. Carlos was great to work with. Very helpful and accommodating. Jimmy( bartender, chauffeur, butler) was also amazing. Food was excellent. Jose did a great job in the kitchen for all meals of the day. Very happy with all aspects of our stay.

Words truly cannot even come close to describing this fabulous week of the Schneider Clan of 15, ages 20 to 67. At the exquisite home ‘Presciosa’, we were in absolute peace, beauty and comfort. The view of Costa Rica waters and shorelines match the majesty of the Villa. Tucked away privately in the hillside, the birds and monkeys in nearby trees entertain the peaceful days. A snorkeling and boating trip on Carlos’ yacht, The Atenea, was an ‘over the top’ fun filled day. Your crew must be compensated by the FUN of the passengers. They are certainly all about service, pleasure, and true JOY. The Atenea was a gorgeous, clean, well kept 53 foot vessel of FUN. Great time on and in the water, topped off with a gorgeous sunset. Other excursions included a hike at Rio Celeste through spectacular waterfalls and rainforest; a funfilled day surfing at Tamarindo Beach. All was smoothly arranged by Carlos. No worries, just perfect executions for a crowd of people, seamlessly carried out, each time with perfection. Whether we went out, stayed in, or needed to run to a store; the trip, villa, and Team Preciosa were perfect for our clan of 15. With all the accommodations of the specatular Villa Preciosa, and the management of Carlos, Jimmy and the team, we were able to have abundant quality family time. Your joy was contagious! We danced, sang, played games, and relaxed. Every one of us had a very memorable family trip to treasure forever. The most surprising aspect of the week could be singularly summed up in the word ‘HEART’. Carlos, Jimmy and team have HEARTS OF GOLD! Carlos personally managed EVERY aspect of our needs, excursions, reliable suggestions, our unexpected happenings, our smallest and EVERY desire was accommodated beyond belief! We don’t know HOW you do it! Jimmy, simply put is PRECIOUS! He exudes joy, supreme care and forever smiles, not to mention creative flowing drinks with rapid fire. Jimmy is ceaseless service with absolute heart. Not only did he take care of us ‘in house’, but also helped us with our connections, and often drove us himself with the Villa van, whenever we needed to ‘run out’! Not once did our requests get turned down, we NEVER felt like a burden! Jose and Juliana were the heart of the kitchen! Our every desire exceeded. We took pictures of every course. Susan & Carol kept everywhere fresh and clean. Villas goal is customer JOY, not service. A feeling to experience. Nos vemos de nuevo mis amigos!
