We had a fabulous time at the peppermints Dunsborough, great location, an easy walk to town and the beach. The property was as advertised, clean and spacious. Suzanne was prompt and thoughtful in her communication which made the organising easy, thanks Suzanne. I would recommend this house for couples, families and larger groups

We love staying here! Spacious house in a great location. We loved the short walks into town and to the dog beach. Great backyard for the dogs and plenty of space for adults & kids. Can’t wait to come back.

We just love staying at Peppermints. Location is superb and the house is fantastic, always clean and well maintained. We tend to go in cooler months and enjoy the fireplace but admittedly not in the heat of summer so can’t comment on how it cool it would be upstairs. Suzanne is always a gracious host and we’ve never had any challenges with checking in, the house or communication. Perfect. We only wish we could afford peak season rates and we’d stay even more!!

Fantastic log fire. Lots is space.

We loved the little home and its proximity to dunsborough and all of our fav little places. Dog was happy and secure in the ward with the fences and gate. It was the middle of winter so the place was a little cold, but once the fire was lit, the home warmed up very quickly. Lots of blankets, lots of beds and room for adults and children. Would definitely stay again.

This is a great house, only 120m from centre of Dunsborough, secure yard, had everything we needed. It may be warm in summer though without air-con or ceiling fans.

Great location. Only a short walk to Cafes and awesome Bakery. Only stayed for two days as we had a wedding to go to at Bunker Bay but wished we could stay longer. Everything was as described and plenty of firewood to keep us warm. Thanks.

The location of this property was great as so close to Dunsborough, however the condition of this house was so disgusting we really didn’t enjoy our stay!! Floors were sticky, clearly hadn’t been mopped. Clusters of black bugs in the corners of the downstairs toilet (again not been cleaned) Upstairs rooms had chocolate wrappers everywhere. Rooms were dusty and smelled, cobwebs all over the windows and blinds. House hadn’t been aired in a while obviously from the smells. Sink was brown with gunge which i easily cleaned with some hot water and detergent. Outside was lots of cob webs and house was clearly deteriorating (down pipe) The condition of the house made us feel really uncomfortable especially having an infant there. The stairs are dangerous for walking up and down and banging your head off. The beds smelled musty and stale and made us all itch. I think it’s disgusting they charge a cleaning fee when clearly the house hadn’t been properly cleaned.

We had a week in Dunsborough with our dog . The house was perfect for the dog with an enclosed backyard. The beach was 5 minutes walk down a alleyway which was our morning walk routine and meeting other dogs on the beach. Followed by a bakery and Cafe visit on our way home . The house is well equipped and comfortable. A very relaxing week . We can highly recommend it .

Lovely cottage in a great location, walking distance to the shops or the beach. First trip with our dog as well and he enjoyed the safe and secure back yard .

Great location, enjoyable stay

Would make a great spot for extended family getaway. Could fit 2-3 couples with numerous kids.

The property was in a great location and perfect to stay at with our dog, he loved the huge back garden! The house was clean and tidy. The only downside was the amount of cobwebs and spiders on the garden furniture, maybe just a quick hose down and spray between guests would help however, this is the smallest of issues, I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family. Thank you for having us!

Loved The Peppermints, the location was perfect to walk into town and to Dunsborough beach. The upstairs area was fantastic for our grown up children to sleep in and the room in middle to hang out in. The back yard area was peaceful and relaxing . Kitchen was conveniently located in the heart of house and included all essential kitchen utensils Cool house thankyou.

The house was close to the village and met our needs. We had a great week in Dunsborough. The communication with the Property Manager throughout the whole process was excellent.

Our Family has stayed at Peppermints before as we just love the location to beach & cafes which is all within a 5 min walk. Contacting the owner is easy & if any questions need answered or to give honest feedback about the cleanliness, Susanna will endeavour to sort it out. I certainly feel rested, Thankyou 🙏🏼

A beautifully set up property close to town and all amenities

Our stay at Peppermints was very enjoyable. It is a well located property within a short walking distance to both beach and town. The property manager was easily contactable and the house was very clean, cosy and well equipped and would be very suitable for a family with a dog too. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

Excellent

This is our second time staying here and this time came with family. The location is great, so close to beach and the town centre. The house is comfortable and has everything you need. We love being able to take our dog and the backyard is a decent size and fully fenced.

Suzanne was lovely to deal with and the house was nice however we found the iron winding stairway in the middle of the living room to be a bit hazardous. Both our tall husbands missed their heads a couple times and caught their shoulders while walking past (neither was under the influence of alcohol). The Doona covers on both queen beds were probably double bed covers and not queen size and were smaller/shorter, making sleep less restful. we had fun chopping the wood for the fire and that was a nice addition too, but the downstairs bedroom had no heater and made the room a little chilly once the fire was out. However, with one toilet and 2 toilet rolls for 4x people we were left short. Overall the kitchen is very well equipped, well organised neat and clean, the house is roomy and could house few more people comfortably though I'd be worried about kids and the stairway, but it's was a lovely short walk to the beach and shops and It was also a nice middle point for Busselton and Margaret River so our overseas family did enjoy the trip.

We arrived late afternoon to quite a cold house. There was no reverse cycle to warm up the downstairs living area which was cold in the mornings. Once all our luggage was in, we went to light the fire only to find no kindling, no paper and no fire lighters – only plenty of large logs stored under the carport. Eventually found some matches. Thankfully there was a decent size sharp axe to chop the logs into small kindling. And we broke up a cardboard carton for the ‘paper’. Eventually the fire started and we could warm up. The downstairs area is all tiled and we found it very cold early September. The lighting over the kitchen sink area has a mind of its own and needs to be fixed – one minute it’s on, the next it goes off, then it will come back on! The house has lovely French doors to the backyard. It would have been nice if the cobwebs in the doors were cleaned. Also cobwebs over the outside furniture and patio roof beams. Patio paving needed sweeping on arrival. There was also a CD/cassette player but unfortunately it didn’t read CD’s. And who has cassette tapes these days! We were able to play CDs in the DVD player but you need to know what you’re doing as there are no instructions – the ones that were there were for a different brand of TV and therefore unhelpful. The property is fully fenced which is lovely for those with dogs. If you’re leaving your dog, make sure it doesn’t bark otherwise you’ll have a note put under your door asking you to remedy the barking. This is despite a couple of dogs from a property behind also barking. And there were a couple of loud parties being held Friday and Saturday nights into the early hours of the morning. Positives for the place are the very handy location to walk into the town and to the beach (10 minutes). The downstairs bed was very comfortable. Good hot water in the shower. Overall we enjoyed our stay at The Peppermints but attention to the above-mentioned items will be appreciated by future guests.
