7 of us stayed here and we all loved the property. It looked exactly like the posting, was clean, and had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for us to spread out, or hang out in the same room when we wanted. The location was great, rural, but still within driving distance of everything we wanted to do. Using the hot tub every night was wonderful and we even got to see the Northern Lights!

Excellent. Very kid friendly, even had some toys and a couple balls as well as kid friendly cups, bowls and plates. Would also be great for a group of adults. The view is truly as beautiful as the online listing.

I can't say enough about this house and the view it has! This property is, by far, the best experience we had during our seven weeks in Europe! The perfect end to a wonderful trip! 5 stars just isn't enough for the experience we had! Can't wait to come back!!!

This property was excellent in communicating to us the beauty of Iceland. The surrounding scenery as well as the access to so many amazing places made this a perfect place for us. It was also the perfect size for 6 adults and 3 teenagers. Wonderful place to stay.

We loved our stay here, we brought our 3 married children and their spouses and there was plenty of room for all 8 of us. Rooms had gorgeous views. The house’s location is idyllic, rural, but not far from Selfoss and easy to get to lots of fantastic natural wonders. All the amenities we needed, light and airy. Would definitely stay again.

If you’re hesitating to book this property for any reason other than $$$ I strongly recommend doing so. Property was immaculate the views were spectacular. My family and I were both awed and felt super secure. Property managers were responsive and kind. We are vegan and they shared a few suitable options for our lifestyle. We loved Iceland and when we inevitably come back I can only hope this property will still be available

Everything was in perfect shape and property is even better than website photos. Host was very knowledgeable and communicated quickly. We were an adult group of eight and house was above our expectations. Northern lights were amazing and views from home lovely.

This place was the highlight of our visit to Iceland. As a home base to go explore the Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon, Snowmobiling, Ice Caves, etc it can’t be beat. We were always happy to return home each evening and even took and entire day to rest and hang out at the house. The hot tub was fabulous and we were even able to see the Northern lights on 3 different evenings right out the windows! Communication with the owners was wonderful! Can’t recommend enough and would love to plan another visit some day!

Everything about this home is top notch. The location on the river and view were spectacular. The house is clean, modern and well equipped. We'd never seen so many dishes, glasses, towels, etc. in a rental home before. The weather was quite cold (go figure) but the heated floors keep the house cozy and comfortable. We made this trip specifically to hopefully see the Northern Lights since we've been to Iceland before. We were not disappointed and had a solid 1+ hour show on our first night which was visible from the deck as well as the large windows that face every direction in the home. Heidrun was quick to answer questions leading up to the trip and even alerted us to the severe weather that was rolling in toward the end of our week. I highly recommend the property and look forward to visiting again soon.

Super location to see many of the Icelandic historical and natural sites. The house is great and the owners are easy to with.

First time in Iceland and this clean and modern house greeted us with the warmth and comfort that we really needed after a long flight for two families with 4 adults and 4 kids. Great amenities - everything we needed in working condition. Excellent communication with the hosts who provided us with very detailed instructions about everything. We even got a detailed guide on things to do in all areas of this beautiful country! The hot tub was a great retreat, we are surprised how quickly it gets warm even in freezing weather. The views are just amazing in all directions! We would be glad to come back here again.

Everything about this property was great. The hosts provided helpful reference material for how to use everything in the home. The hosts were great about patiently explaining and answering questions about sorting trash and recycling (it is more detailed than in our home area). They answered messages very quickly with useful answers. It is a beautiful home and we were lucky enough to see the lights on two nights. Views of the river are stunning and the house is very well-appointed. My family loved the property as well. We loved our stay here.

Our group of seven adults from North Carolina stayed in Heidi and Rob's home for four nights, venturing out each day to explore nearby areas. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, the hot tub was great, the view was absolutely beautiful, and the hosts were very responsive when we had questions. I'd love to go back!

Five of us (all adults) enjoyed our three-night stay in this house in Laurgaras. The house is comfortable, well-stocked, and very clean. The view from the living room and deck area is quite beautiful. It was a great location for our day trips to Reykjanes peninsula, the southwest coast (to Vík í Mýrdal), and the Golden Circle. We highly recommend this house.

My family of five adults stayed here for two nights and had a great time doing the Golden Circle. House is comfortable, clean and modern. We even saw the northern lights right from the house. No need to chase after them!

This home satisfied all our needs for 10 days while exploring South Iceland. Full kitchen, modern bathrooms with washer and dryer, plenty of lounging areas and jacuzzi overlooking the river valley. Great place to rest, refuel and recharge from high adventure Icelandic excursions.

Wonderful view, comfortable and clean and well appointed. On;y comment I would make is having screens on windows would be helpful. Bugs and summertime!

My wife and two sons 19 and 17 spent 8 days in Iceland. We booked this house for our last 3 nights. The house and property was beautiful. Everything was clean and exactly as shown online. We picked this house for the views, the peacefulness, and the location to many spots on the Golden Circle. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the deck and hot tub was a treat after a long day of adventures!

My husband and our four teens and I stayed at this house for a week in April 2022. The house itself is comfortable, welcoming, warm, clean, and beautiful--plenty of space to spread out. We saw the Northern Lights twice from the back deck and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. It is conveniently located to Selfoss, which has grocery stores and restaurants. It is also a drive away from everything on the golden circle, Reykjavik, Seljalandsfoss, and the black sand beaches near Vik. Communicating with the owners was easy and helpful. Highly recommend this house to anyone traveling to Iceland!

We stayed for three nights, and all enjoyed the comfortable layout and stunning views! Hot pool was a plus and with perfect sky gazing through cold, wet weather. We cooked a lot and found the kitchen space well stocked and easy to navigate. Perfect communication and quick response time. Very much recommend for your home base!

Our stay was sheer perfection. The property was well-maintained and very clean. The photos to not do this home and it’s amenities justice. We were all very pleasantly surprised as the property exceeded all of our expectations. The property manager offers tons of resources for leisurely activities, tourist attractions, restaurants and cafes. The location is wonderful for traveling to the city or further south towards Vic to explore.

The house was comfortable and clean. Huge windows with wonderful views. Centrally located for easy access to all Golden Circle sights. We saw the Northern Lights from the back deck, it was magical!

The house was great for my family. Kids had there own spaces. Everything in kitchen for making meals. Table is great size for meals together and card games. Beautiful views throughout.

Home was just as described. We had a lovely time. Close to waterfalls, geyser, and more. Highly recommended.
