The unit itself was a bit dated and had a musty odor as if it hadn’t been aired out. It was relatively clean minus some stains on the carpet. The upstairs rooms collect the heat of a the day and stay warm even with windows open, a fan would’ve been helpful. The refrigerator took a very long time to get cold enough to store our food. I chose the location due to its proximity to the park so I can get my grandson out there whenever possible but what I didn’t count on was the activities at the park after dark. It’s seems to be a hangout for some locals playing loud music and extremely loud conversations well in to the morning. We had to call authorities at 1:00 am on one occasion to help clear out the individuals and allow us to get some rest. I will not return to this unit.

Kitchen utensils and amenities need an update. Perfect location next to the park. Also within walking distance to Vons and movie theater.

Mostly we loved the view, and we spent several hours one day just watching our kids play outside in the snow with a mountain view behind them. While the property was clean and well stocked, the furniture and carpets are pretty old and worn out which you cannot tell from the photos. The top bunk bed did not have a rail, which for my small children meant that none could sleep in it. Luckily we didn't need the 8th bed.

It was in a very convenient location, close to the shuttle stops and Vons. The place was large, warm, and well furnished, and all 8 people slept comfortably. The kitchen had all the necessary pots/pans for cooking and plates/utensils for eating.All in all, we couldn't be happier with our stay.

The condo is literally behind the Stove parking lot with great windows that overlook the park and face the Sherwins and Mammoth Mountain. Wonderful views if that is your thing, but also so easy to walk to Vons, Mammoth Tavern, or a nice stroll on the McGee Creek path. I liked the balance of being located near the hustle and bustle of the town, but still enjoying the views. We walked to the park with our daughter several times, which was also nice. The layout of the condo is great and comfortably accommodated 6 adults. It could sleep more, but bathrooms might be a little tight since there are only 2. Kitchen is very well stocked with all the gadgets you would need and a few odd spices, etc. My only complaint is that the condo is a little dated -- while some updates have been made like the laminate wood flooring, the kitchen and bathrooms could definitely use a refresh. I also think the "cabiny" feel could be improved by taking down the old, dated paneling. Most of the furniture was very comfortable, but a few pieces could be inexpensively updated (coffee table, card table, sofa in sunroom) and the overall feel would be greatly improved. We had a great stay and would consider renting here again. If the suggested updates were made, we would definitely rent again.

Overall would have been a fine stay, however this unit is infested with bed bugs. VRBO conveniently does not allow me to attach photos, but we have many photos and pictures of bed bug bites. It seems this is a recurring problem since a renter in January 2021 noted bed bugs in the same unit/same bed. This unit probably does not get properly cleaned and who knows if it has been chronically infested with bed bugs since last year. Definitely would not rent and risk it.

We love that the location was an end unit with a nice view of the park and the mountains. It was quiet and peaceful. The location is very close to Vons and other retail shops which is such a plus. Parking was perfect for two SUVs. Rooms were ample for 8. TV/Cable reception was great. Furnitures need to be updated for sure. The only modern parts of the house were the TV, toaster and microwave. Dinnerware and cooking utensils are good. BIG CON: The queen bed mattress on the first level room is definitely compromised. One member of our party slept on it and immediately got bug bites on her chest and shoulder! We have photo proof if the establishment requires it. This is something that needs to be addressed urgently. Hopefully this situation gets resolved the soonest as this is not how our family expected to end the trip with at all.

The place is dated but exactly as described and in the photos. The oven didn't work but we were informed of this ahead of time. The heaters in the living room also didn't work but someone came to look at it soon after we called. We were a family of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids) and there were enough beds for everyone. All in all very cozy place and appropriately priced.

Nice unobstructed views of the mountains to the south and kiddie park right next door with access to walking, running, and biking paths that go around town. The queen beds are small but this place is clean.
