Greatly appreciate the accommodations for this trip. It was the perfect location for exploring the various sites our group went to photograph. The rooms were very comfortable, with lots of items to make it feel like home. The bed was very comfortable as it was one of those adjustable varieties. Only spent about 19 hours in the room during my three days there. Hence not a lot of time to enjoy the use of all the amenities. Had my own parking space, and a great location to downtown Damariscotta. Wish I could have spent another day exploring the area. Good reason to come back, which I certainly would do!

Charming decor in a European sitiing room style. Apartment is well-appointed with all amenities. Although located right off of Main Street, it is quiet and private. I was able to walk to the local pub and other shops. Excellent communication with the property manager throughout my stay. When I was arriving late, the host turned on the lights for me!

This property is right in the charming, easily walkable downtown area near shops and restaurants. Perfect for couples looking to escape for a weekend!

Beautiful studio apartment. Centrally located in the middle of town. You do not have to drive anywhere. Right on the water.

Hospitality of the owner--first rate. We arrived after dark--Lizette personally made sure we were safely inside and happy. Our apartment was very clean with nice details for the adult traveler: the king bed, and bedding, in our (2) bedroom space were very comfortable. Excellent water pressure made the shower a treat; the bath linens are high quality. As if you own the place, walking proximity to everything on Daramiscotta's Main Street could not be easier! Parking was easy and ample.

This property turned out to be even better than I expected, and Lisette was friendly and quickly available for any questions or needs. The apartment is just steps away from the river in one direction, and the village shops and restaurants in the other, tucked away from the main street with plenty of privacy and charm. Had short, beautiful drives to Birch Point, Damariscotta Lake, and Pemaquid Point parks. I appreciated having a dedicated parking space right next to the apartment as well.

Great location to walk to the river, cafe for coffee/tea, restaurants, kayaking… The Number Bed is an extra plus!

Place was just perfect! A wonderful mix of boho and unique, one of a kind decor. Place was cozy, close to everything and so clean. Owner wad perfect amount of helpful and friendly. Will definitely rent again!

If given the choice, I would stay here every time I visited Mid-Coast Maine. Not only is access to the beautiful downtown area of Damariscotta (a gem that is still somewhat undiscovered) perfectly situated, Lisette's cottage and attentiveness were unmatched. Even though I have stayed in many VRBO's both here and abroad, this is one of the best. Don't forget to visit the newly opened "Bred in the Bone" for early morning cappuccino as well as dinner. And the local bookstore is a gem. The food and people are outstanding and you can bring back your leftovers to keep in the fridge and reheat in the micro. Trust me–enjoy YOUR own stay in this beautiful cottage.

Charming cozy spot in downtown Damariscotta. Warm despite snow and cold. Perfect for walk to shops and coffee shop in winter.

Everything about our stay was excellent, especially meeting Lissette. She was welcoming, warm, and eager to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. The accommodations included everything we needed, and the location was central to downtown. An added bonus is her gardens that are beyond beautiful even in October. All the work is done by her alone, a passion of the heart. Thank you Lissette we most definitely will be back.

Lissette, the owner, could not have been more available and accommodating. Perfect location for walking to restaurants and shops. Area around the cottage completely surrounded by flowers and plants. Rich history to the village and the Cottrell House.

This charming little Jew is located right downtown a quick walk to everything, and we’ll located for day trips around the area. The host Lissette is amazing and helpful… don’t get me started on her garden - just wow. The best compliment I can make is we’ll be back! Thank you!

The apartment is well put together and easy to use. The artwork is fun, the bookshelves are interesting. I would definitely look into booking again for a future mid-coast visit.

Loved our stay! Property was great and area is so picturesque with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

We spent a lovely week in Damariscotta! We moved our daughter up from PA and traveled around a lot to see as much as we could. Enjoyed coming "home" to the comfortable, artistic rooms and spending time on the dock on the river. There is much to do right in town, as well. We hope go back in the future and stay right here!

Great downtown location. Easy walking distance to anything you need. Lisette is wonderful and the unit is clean, brightly decorated, cozy and quiet. Very fun place to stay and we would go back without hesitation!
