Home was beautiful and tastefully decorated. Very unfortunately, the elevator was out of service and the property mgmt co. rudely argued with me that it wasn’t on their listing (yet it WAS on the VRBO site, where I booked.) The mgmt co (OBX Blue) also ordered the unit a new cook top and had it installed during our stay, so we had a repairman in our kitchen for over 3.5hrs- he ended up having to rewire faulty cooktop and turn off breaker to kitchen-so without power for most of that time. Very frustrating and inconvenient to say the least. Bottom floor queen bed was full of sand from prior occupants. Microwave oven was filthy. Clearly mgmt co doesn’t have the staff to clean between occupants. Location couldn’t be better. We made best of situation and had a nice time, regardless.

The house was great. Pictures were accurate in the listing. It definitely could have been cleaner. The carpets weren’t vacuumed and it was obvious. One of the bedrooms the sheets had not been changed. This was noticed in the morning after sleeping in the bed. Also when we reserved the house it did state that there was an elevator. One of our group has difficulty walking so this was one of the reasons we chose this house. Upon arrival we could not figure out how to get it to work. I called the office and voiced my concerns. The manager called me back and was extremely helpful. They sent people to change all the bedding and brought blow dryers that we were told would be there but were not. He followed up on all our concerns professionally. Unfortunately the elevator was not in service. We were told that it is no longer operating or in the listing. We had a great trip and would probably rent the house again in the future.

As advertised, a nice, spacious house very close to the beach. Had a great time.

There was plenty of room for us to have fun together - and to find some quiet time when we needed it. Although it was still a little too cold to swim in the ocean, hours were spent fishing and playing in the sand. The kids LOVED being right across from the club house, so that they could make friends at the play yard or the pool, and warming up in the hot tub in the evening. The adults appreciated the quick walk or bike ride into town, The boardwalk on the sound side was a favorite.

Wine n sea was a wonderful spot for our thanksgiving get together! The elevator made those grocery runs a breeze. The cottage was so convenient since it was across the street from the beach , the indoor pool and tennis court and within walking distance to the quaint town of Duck.

This is a lovely home! Great location -near beach access and walking distance to the village. Property management was responsive to a very minor issue. Great experience!

Beautiful 3 level home w 3 main bedrooms/baths. Bathrooms recently modernized. Sleeps 18 comfortably. Main floor had open area and ample seating for large groups to share a meal. Nice backyard with pool w lots of chairs. Just a few steps from the beach. Kitchen had nice perks that included ice maker and wine chiller, but needs some upgrading. Oven and stovetop need servicing/repair. We would definitely rebook this location.

Great family trip to the beach. Loved being able to bring our dog, and was a very close proximity to the beach.
