I stayed here with my spouse and two young kids. The location is fantastic, being near the beach and a playground for the kids along with easy access up and down the coast via the PCH. The unit itself was well maintained and clean.

We had a great stay in Sunset Beach. The unit is just as pictured online and has everything you need for the stay. We appreciated the towels/beach blanket/chairs! The greenway was perfect for walking our dog who also loved visiting the dog beach just five minutes drive from the house. Restaurants, bball/pickleball court, playground and beach all an easy walk away. We would not hesitate to return! Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at this property! It is a perfect location, just steps from the beach - about a 30-second walk. There is also a pretty greenbelt perfect for walking our dog, and for those with kids, there is a small playground a couple blocks down on the greenbelt path. The home itself is on the second story with another unit below it. We never heard the downstairs neighbors. The home was spotlessly clean, which I'm sure is very challenging considering the nearby beach and sand, etc. It was also modern and charmingly decorated -one of the nicest VRBOs we have ever stayed in. I needed to work while we were there, so the desk in the second bedroom and good wifi were very helpful. The kitchen is nice and well stocked, and the bathrooms were decent-sized and nice. The bedrooms were smallish but still comfortable. The Queen bed in the master bedroom seemed smaller than a queen - I thought it was fine, but my tall husband would have preferred a softer king (I think a king could fit in this bedroom and shared this feedback with the owner, who was very kind about the feedback). The laundry is downstairs and shared. It was just my husband and I and our small dog, but two couples or a small family could easily stay here. The home feels cozy and comfortable, and we were grateful for this since it rained part of the time we were here in January. I really love the beach in winter - quiet and cool, and you can have it pretty much to yourself. We recommend this home!

Enjoyed our stay here. My daughters and I enjoyed being able to walk to the beach each night. (Although the beach had a lot of trash at high tide) but we enjoyed looking for shells anyway. The house was perfect and will keep this place on the radar for a future trip to California.

Coming from Montana, it was a perfect place to hang out and enjoy the temperate climate with my brother and his partner who were visiting from Germany. We were all in town for my Mom's 90th birthday party. The place is in a quiet neighborhood, spacious, clean, light, comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and laundry access, close to Trader Joe's for groceries. We enjoyed lunches on the sunny patio, daily walks on the beach and greenway, exploring Bolsa Chica wetlands and doing puzzles on the large countertop in the evenings.

This unit is very nice. It is completely remodeled and, as the listing says, steps from the beach. There were some minor issues, but nothing worth mentioning in a review. The reason I hesitate to give it 5 stars is because of the people living below. They are extremely noisy starting at 5 am with music and constant banging around. One day they left their dog home all day barking and howling! Overall, the constant noise did somewhat diminish the enjoyment of the stay, but we made the best of it. Oh, and the internet is very spotty (we tried to stream on Fire stick and struggled). So, I think I would give this listing a 4.7 but, since there is no option for that, I give it a 4 out of 5.

Came to town for my graduation and it was a perfect location for a small group. Plenty of things nearby and perfect location to check out parts of California. Very clean and tidy, had house essentials you may need during travel.

Perfect beach apartment. Tastefully and thoughtfully equipped throughout. Beds, linens, towels, kitchen supplies, everything was perfect. So close to the beach, nice to have our own parking where we could fit two cars. So glad we found this spot. Joanne was super helpful and responsive.

The owners have put a lot of effort to modernize the interior and supply an abundance of amenities. So comfortable and quiet. A short walk to Sunset Beach. Other businesses nearby—restaurants, groceries, etc. It’s an upstairs unit with a long set of stairs. Not good for the handicapped or fall risks.

We have stayed at this property before and we were excited to stay there again. It is a charming beach home with only a short walk to the beach. There is a new very comfortable couch in the living room, the kitchen is well equipped, there are plenty of towels and beach towels available and there is a storage area with ice chests, boogie boards, beach chairs and bicycles. There is liquid hand soap in the bathrooms, but you will need to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The property owner is quick to respond to questions or concerns. We love this property and look forward to staying there on our next trip to So Cal.

About 50 people attended my mom’s 80th birthday party. Myself, my wife, our daughter, and her boyfriend stayed at this cute beach home. It was perfect for us and short little walk to the beach across the street behind us. We also walked to dinner one night. Very nice location and clean. Property owner was very responsive and cooperative. We would highly recommend it.

This place was wonderful! It was perfect for our sisters weekend! It was clean, easy to access, and loved that it had a designated parking spot for the unit. It was literally steps from the beach! Perfect!

Family with older kids stayed for a week at the beach. The location was 6 out of 5 stars! The house was perfect for our purposes. It was the absolute cherry on top that they had a closet full of great beach gear. We didn’t have to bring anything! We loved cooking in most nights and the kitchen was perfect. The AC kept us very comfortable at night. I would 100% recommend this beautiful beach house. I hope to return!!

The unit was nice. It is in a beautiful location. Walking to restaurants and the beach was a breeze! The neiborhood is delightful. The space is very nice, but not super comfortable for 5 adults. The second bed is a full (big enough for our 6ft son only). and the pull out blow up couch is ok. It is probably great for 4 adults. We wanted to watch a movie one night and there isn’t enough comfortable seating. The living room seats 3 comfortably with one smaller couch and one chair. You can see all this in the pictures though. It is my mistake for not thinking about that comfort. The space has everything you need in the way of plates and paper towels, glasses and laundry. Again, the LOCATION is wonderful! My boys loved it and would definitely stay again!

Perfect beach house

We enjoyed our stay at this sweet beach getaway! It was extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchen was particularly new and well organized. Our only problem was the dryer was so old that it still hadn’t dried my family’s load of laundry even after three times running it. I ended up having to hang up everything around the room to let it finish drying overnight. Other that that, we had a wonderful beach getaway and enjoyed utilizing the available wagon, chairs, towels, and toys.

Great location! Place was a great place for a get away. Would’ve given it a five. However front bathroom sink was clogged. I called property manager and left a message about the sink. Never got a call back . I bought some drano and it didn’t help. I’m really a person who doesn’t like to complain but not having the property manager call me back was disappointing.

Our family had a wonderful time in Huntington Beach during our spring break. We were able to ride our bikes to Seal Beach and walk to many restaurants. Our rental was clean and just enough space for our family of 4. The hosts were accommodating and responsive too. Our only constructive criticisms would be the mattress in the guest room is ready to be replaced...the box spring is very loud when you move and the mattress rolls to the center. The shower door in the master bath does not close all the way and the kitchen could use a deep cleaning as there seemed to be a layer of grease on the surfaces. Being just steps from the beach was perfect as we even walked over one night to look at the lights of Long Beach and enjoy the cold sand. Thank you for sharing your home!

We had a small family vacation, and this was the perfect location for us- close to the beach, several health food/grocery options within a mile or two, as well as lots of restaurants to choose from nearby. The home was bright and clean with lots of windows and a really nice open island/living room space for games and movies. I would absolutely recommend it to friends and family!

We had a wonderful visit while in Huntington Beach. This suite is ideally located close to the beach. We rented a large vehicle and luckily the property had an available parking stall that was large enough to accommodate. The kitchen is well stocked. Joanne responded to messsges really quickly.

This Beach House was awesome for our family’s trip to California. It has everything you could possibly need. Proximity to the beach is great, easy parking and tons of towels etc for your stay !

This was a great place for its beach access (short walk, 1-2 minute from house to sand and maybe 3-5 minutes to find a spot) and great location between seal beach and huntington beach for shopping & restaurants. However, the description listed sleeping options that weren't accurate or they were listed in a way that we misunderstood. There was 1 Queen, 1 Full bed and a Queen blow up mattress inside a pullout couch (we didn't use this one). There are no twin beds. It's a little bit older than the photos suggest and the beds aren't the most comfortable, but they served their purpose and there were plenty of towels, beach gear and dishes, including a kurig and some coffee pods. Beach gear included chairs, coolers, beach umbrellas, boogie boards and more! This is a great little beach house for your next beach trip!

Great location and wonderful amenities, with clean modern beach decor. Check-in was a breeze with a digital lock and exceptionally communicative owner. The storage area with bikes and beach toys were an added plus for our boys. Overall exceptional property - just shy of perfect. The only nit-picky quirks would be that the master bathroom shower door doesn't close properly (the track is installed at a crooked angle) and some of the LVP planks are separated leaving uneven gaps in the floor in a handful of areas. Nonetheless, we couldn't have been happier with our stay and are already looking forward to returning soon!

Loved being so close to the beach. It was a staycation for us and it was perfect. Owner easy to work with.
