The owner was very accommodating of us and gave us a large balcony to store our bikes which we were travelling with. The room including bathroom and balcony are large and traditional which I liked with amazing sea views. Great breakfast

The bar wasn't open for an apperitivo when we tried to get one about 7 pm. We found a chef from the separately run restaurant who helped us to a drink in the end. It would be nice for the bar area to be more lively at the pre-dinner time

We like everything! Our room was spacious with 3! balconies,all with beautiful view. The breakfast was delicious and the owner was so friendly and helpful. Thank you! Beata & Mike

The hotel is a beautiful town house.

The room has not air conditioning, only a ventilator, when the place is very hot. The reception service was not good.

The owners were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was perfect with daily homemade pastries. The on-site restaurant was Michelin star quality. The rooms were large and very comfortable with great views.

It could do with air-conditioning if possible but we were there in exceptionally high heat and there was a good fan and plenty of ventilation. The afternoon breeze cooled things down anyway.

We got a nice corner room. Breakfast was good

No air condition makes the room very hot in summer time Noicy traffic from narrow street just outside the hotel

Cute, family run hotel. Some very nice views of the sea from the terraces. Quiet and peaceful. Tellaro is a five minute walk and worth a visit, as are a couple of small, very pretty beaches/bays for some great swimming There are several good restaurants within a short walking distance. Locanda Miranda was a good launching point for our day trips to Cinque Terre, Porto Venere, Lerici, and the beaches near Marina di Massa. Alessandro says he wants people to feel at home. He succeeded with us. It was one of our favorite spots on our Italian tour. We wish we had stayed longer.

Our room didn't have A/C. That said, the hotel is on the hillside above the sea and catches a good breeze at night. We didn't miss it.

The breakfast was delicious! Fresh pastries that literally crumbled in your mouth.

Overall not the best experience! As other customers have said, the place has a pretty eerie vibe and not in a cool/romantic way. The staff are very unfriendly- The hotel says check in below 830pm so I messaged in advance to say we would check in between 630 830pm and received a reply “to advise immediately now what we’d arrive” and that if it was after 8 they wouldn’t hold us a parking space (they did in the end, after I pointed out the hotel advertises check in until 830 and free parking ). Second, there is no kettle or cups of anything in the room. I wanted a coffee in the afternoon so we went down and asked for a coffee and a water- they seemed aghast at this request and made us “pay now!” and take it up. I wasn’t necessarily expecting room service but they could have just charged it to the room etc. Lastly the room itself was fine but as others have said overpriced for the area and what you get. 2 out of 3 of the lamps didn’t work. There was a broken plastic chair on the balcony and another mismatched metal chair- no table. Shame , as if you advertise a sea view balcony (which could have been lovely!) you’d surely think to put a nice table and chairs out there.
