Cherie’s place was perfect for our Sebago vacation! The house had everything we needed, it was clean and cozy. The private dock was great for our boat rental for the weekend and the neighbors were very friendly. Cherie was very responsive and was very helpful.

Excellent location close to the sandbar. The property and the views are amazing! Cherie is a great host, very responsive, and accommodating. It was our home away from home for two weeks with all the amenities you can think of. Looking forward to coming back, as our family had a amazing time!

Thoroughly enjoyed it- hiking swinmming , sailing- the dock was asteps from the porch- kayaks, firepit- and a truly professional host who made it easy!

A charming and well decorated house in a fabulous location. Plenty of games and great fire pit area. Place to dock a pontoon or a small outboard. We had a wonderful stay- thank you Cherie!

This is our second year here. House was very clean and stocked with necessities. Property was in great location to Sebago Lake with dock for boat. Owner easily accessible for any issues. See you next year!

Loved the lake access and beautifully renovated lake house.

Very clean home! Great set up for adults and some bunks for the kids or grandma! Cherie was very accommodating! I lost my computer charger, Cherie found it and fed-exed it to me immediately! Kitchen has everything you need to enjoy easy meals without hassle! Just a few steps out the door to the dock and your a couple minutes from the sandbar!

House was very nice, updated, comfortable and had central AC. Owner/property manager was very accommodating and responded quickly with any questions or concerns. Very quiet cove location. Just outside cove was a great sand bar that was a meeting place for many. Getting in and out of the canal/cove was a little difficult as it was narrow and shallow. Overall a great location, comforting house with lots of space for everyone.

This property was conveniently located for us. Accommodations very comfortable and clean. Owner was very personable and helpful. Already booked for 2022.

We arrived to a perfectly clean house and exactly as expected, tucked away on the water in a quaint waterfront community. Access to the water was seamless with the use of the available dock and a few minutes paddle from the sandbar (great sand!) around the corner on Sebago Lake. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting and situation for our family. Hoping to return again!

Good location, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. Overall, very nice place. Would have liked an umbrella on the deck which was very sunny during the day. Luckily, the boat that was docked in front of the house stayed covered and was not and issue. If the renters of the dock wanted to use their boat, they would have had to walk right in front of our deck and living quarters. It would have been an intrusion of privacy. As it was, there were 2 other docks on the property which were rented out as well. They were not as close to us but the owners of the boat did have to walk directly in front of us. At least, they were friendly and it was not an issue.

Location, Location, Location The house is situated at the entrance of the Songo river and next to the Sebago Lake State Park Sand Bar. Thompson Point is surrounded on three sides by the state park. My kids and I spent the week exploring the close by trails into the state park, kayaking up the Songo river and fishing on the lake. A view of the river and lake can be enjoyed from the kitchen, dining room, living room and master bedroom. The house is clean and modern with an efficient layout. The gourmet kitchen and house are stocked with everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. The owner is very attentive. I felt she honestly cared that my kids and I enjoyed our stay. My kids are requesting that I book the same house next year, I cant wait to go back. Thank you Cherie for a fun filled, relaxing week.

What an amazing property! I don't even know where to start. Having our boat steps from the house was ideal for us, and the location on the lake was just perfect! The water on the main part of the lake can get really rough, but on those rough days you're just around the corner from the Songo River entrance and a beautiful, serene trip up thru the locks to Brandy Pond & Long Lake. Although you can't swim off the dock right at the house, having the sandbar right around the corner was perfect! We swam there everyday, and the water stays shallow forever so even if there are a lot of boats, you can still find your own spot to hang out! The kids can even kayak or paddleboard there (just be careful crossing the channel). Only thing to be aware of is the sandbar is a state park and we found out our first day they charge to anchor on the beach, but they were very nice and also let us know that if we anchored off the beach just a few feet we wouldn't be on state property any longer ;) As for the house...it was perfect! We had 7 people and the size was just perfect. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well appointed, plenty of seating (though we all fought over the chaise by the window as it was the best spot in the house overlooking the water). The central air was the icing on the cake, the house stayed so cool during the hottest week of the summer (the day we checked out was 98!) We also loved the outdoor area with plenty of chairs, hammocks and a fire pit. The outdoor, homemade tic-tac-toe game was a family favorite too and the string lights added such a special touch to the outdoor area. The house was so perfect I wish Cherie was entertaining offers! Cherie was incredible to work with, her responses were always very quick and so accommodating. We didn't have a single issue with the property, other than locking ourselves out one day...she really does go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful vacation. We really didn't want to leave!!! We are hoping to make it back again next year, we don't want to stay anywhere else!!! :)

This was a great property to have as a home base for family summer fun. We had no trouble at all with access, supplies, and great communications as needed with our host. The place is wonderfully laid out and super cozy with everything you need to rest between daily adventures in the area. We used the kayaks to go over to the nearby sandbar for swimming, we made s'mores around the campfire, we slept soundly in the comfortable bedrooms. We played some of the games that were in the cupboard and, when downtime was needed, we enjoyed the Netflix and WiFi. Thanks for everything! This was a lovely place to call home for a week.

We can’t thank Cherie enough for providing such a wonderful home to stay at. Location was great; not far from towns, activities and restaurants and the famed State sand bar. Use of the kayaks was great. We rented a boat and docking was easy. The home is extremely inviting from its tasteful decor, cozy furniture and furnishings , gorgeous views and well stocked gourmet kitchen to comfortable outdoor seating, fire pit and lighting. The washer/dryer was a plus as well as the games, cable and Netflix to keep everyone entertained The Saturday we arrived was extremely hot and humid; but inside the house it was very comfortable with the central ac. Cherie was wonderful. Very easy to communicate with. It is obvious that she takes great pride in this home. It is extremely well cared for and clean. We hated having to leave!! Thank you again Cherie. We would love to come back!!

Beautiful house, great location. We really appreciated being able to use the kayaks provided to head over to the sandbar to swim. The house is updated, and very clean. Owner communicates well. If we ever do Sebago again, we’ll definitely book this house!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The location is outstanding. It is right on the water with a gorgeous view. It was easy access for our boat and has a convenient dock. My children enjoyed the hammocks and the fire pit. We also had fun with the kayaks. Cherie was quickly responsive to all communication and incredibly accommodating. Thanks! We had a great week!

We loved being off the main part of the lake. The cove was perfect for the kids to kayak and fish. Loved the lights & hammocks around the fire pit.

Cherie had wonderful communication and provided her info incase we needed something but everything went well as expected! The house was clean and well kept so we were able to get settled in and relax right away. There was abundant wildlife at and around the property. Deer, turkey geese and ducks. Lots of fish caught and an American eel! Kayaks were provided and a boat dock is available for use. We had a fantastic stay and amazing weather! We would gladly come back!!!

The fall colors were amazing. The home Is so clean and decorated in such a way that you feel right at home. We so enjoyed our girls weekend of meditation by the fire pit. The kitchen had all the essential items. The beds are comfortable. Its such a lovely place. Thank you Cherie for sharing your home.
