We were pleasantly surprised by how much nicer this house was than the pics even showed. A great open space kitchen/ dining room / living room that opens to a small deck with a bbq, and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs below. Four bedrooms and an extra room with a pull out couch and lots of storage space in closets and dressers. TVs in every room (but bring your fire stick if you want to stream). Kitchen was well stocked with pots/ pans/ platters/ utensils to make cooking on the premises super convenient. Location is close to the beach (2 blocks), close to bars, and a 1+ mile walk to downtown area where there are shops and restaurants. Be aware that this is close to the 2 main bars in Manasquan, so Thurs/ Fri/ Sat evenings were pretty loud outside. Also, streets flood a bit when the inlet swells during high tide (our stay was during a full moon). Cars in garage and on driveway weren’t touched with water during our stay, but walking the streets going toward the beach at night we had to go through water on curbs and sidewalks. Water recedes within a few hours. The owner John was super responsive if we had any questions or issues, even came out to the house when something wasn’t working 100%. I would definitely rent this house again.

Our group enjoyed the end of summer getaway to this lovely property. A short walk to the beach (where bathrooms were located) was helpful with 3 kids ten and under. Inside the space was perfect for cooking, playing games and hanging out. Be aware that several of the surrounding houses are summer party houses but they were quiet during the day and most were out in the evening so we weren't disturbed (it was great for people watching). John was very responsive to any issues we had during our stay. Definitely on our list for the future.

The house and location are great! A three minute walk to the beach. House is very comfortable. John the owner told me he plans to add a fire pit in the backyard (a really nice addition) and move the grill. Moving the grill/table away from the a/c units (as seen in photo), which are loud when running, would improve sitting out on the deck. That didn’t stop us from using it, though! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch also. We will definitely come back the next time we plan a NJ shore vacation. Highly recommend!

There were 3 families of varying numbers- total of 7. Plenty of rooms/ beds. The 3 kids created a playroom from 1 of the living rooms and kept all their toys in there. We were 2 1/2 blocks from the beach. The pictures online don’t do the property justice. The place was beautiful!!!! We will be back next year and plan on staying longer. Thank you, John.

Home was beautiful! 2 blocks from beach, minutes from town center. Would absolutely rent again. John, the owner, very available, though everything was in great order, we really didn't need to contact him after checking in. Great time had by all!

Great place, 3 minute walk to beach, complete kitchen for 10, And very patient landlord. Large garage allowed us park securely and not shuffle fishing gear back and forth.

We are a group of friends that were just looking to get away for the weekend. The location was perfect. House was in immaculate condition and it’s a very nice house. Dealing with John was super easy and he provided everything we needed to know. I will definitely be renting here again.

This was our second time staying at John’s house. It is in a perfect location, in walking distance to the beach, bars, and downtown Manasquan. John was always able to reach and extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Property owner very responsive. House was just as shown in photos. Plenty of room for our extended family. Short walk to beach. A little noisy in the evenings on the weekend from young neighbors but not too bad. Great vacation.

We just finished our week in Manasquan, and had an amazing trip. The house was perfect for our large family!!! We loved the open floor plan, huge kitchen island, and large kitchen table that easily sat 12!!! The house has so many beautiful finishes....molding, light fixtures, cabinets, etc. The bedrooms were all a good size and with lovely decor and big TVs! Our only complaint was the unfinished backyard and the broken fence....kind of an eye sore when sitting on the porch. The owner was attentive, helpful and very easy to work with. He assured us he would be working on the backyard in the future. I highly recommend this beach house for a family vacation....it really made the trip for us!

Owner was very accommodating! Big house very comfortable. The family loved it. Beach is right around the corner from house. Everything with in one mile such as stores, restaurants, bars, etc. Overall, excellent vacation spot.

The inside of the house is new. The kitchen is fully stocked and I enjoyed cooking for my entire family. The two TVs on the first floor are super large and we watched some family movies on them which was fun. The location of the house is a short walk, about 3 minutes, to the beach, which was was very convenient. On the downside the street seems to easily flood. You are taking a serious chance renting this property if there’s an approaching storm surge. The entire neighborhood flooded at high tide and we had to cut our vacation short by a day because we could only move the car at low tide and didn’t want to take a chance getting our cars damaged in salt water. A driver who drove in the water stalled. His car shorted out and caught fire. This happened around the corner from the rental. To make matters worse I needed to spend $2500 on my BMW X3 to fix my engine after the vacation. I’m sure it had something to do with the flooding. So overall impression is very nice house but you’re taking a chance if it rains. Finally, you provide your own linens for this rental which is a hassle. We weren’t informed until we arrived and had to run to Walmart for sheets. The owner did bring some as well at the last minute which was very nice of him.

We loved this house and this was our second year. The location is great and so is the house with exceptional decor and amenities. The owner is a really nice guy and very responsive to our needs.

Very nice property. Unfortunately there are other rentals nearby that rent to very loud teenage crowds that party into the very early morning hours. One morning it lasted until about 2:30 AM making sleep on the front master bedroom difficult. Also ice maker in refrigerator did not work. House really could use a thorough deep cleaning as window blinds were very dusty. Other than those few items, we truly loved our stay and the location was perfect. Would like to return in the spring or fall when there are fewer party goers about. Beach and location are fantastic!

Lovely updated style & appointed shore home, well-located for a 3 block walk to beach , river & local eateries. Deck, wifi,air cond, new outside shower, garage, 3 baths all appreciated, easily sleeping 10 people . Personable owner very responsive, & flexible who quickly took care of minor issues and requests, We would surely return! . Property sits high so might be problematic to those needing street level if unable to walk up steps.

Our family stayed here this past summer and had a fabulous time. 5 minute walk from beach and quick car ride from boardwalk. Nice deck out back with grill and large table and chairs. There are a couple bars and restaurants also within walking distance. Great place to stay

Beautifully furnished and new home which is perfect for our family Thanksgiving! Awesome stay- had everything we needed with gourmet kochen and flat screen TVs throughout. Very clean too!!
