Amazing property for a family gathering! Extremely clean, well appointed and every need taken care of. Sunset and reflections on the lake were incredible. Will be staying again!!

Loved our stay, the property garden was a delight. The house was clean and comfortable.

Beautiful house and property. Comfortable, clean, lovely owners, had everything we needed plus some! We loved the lakeside location, played cricket on the lawn, patted “Fox” 🐴, toasted marshmallows on the outdoor fire and went for a dip in the lake. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

We spend my birthday weekend at Barong and I could not have chosen a better place to stay. Before checking in Sandra took into account my plans to be on the water and informed me of river closures so that I would not be disappointed. I was so relieved to know that I could do what I wanted to do and it was so thoughtful of her to let me know. Sandra's husband (so sorry I can't remember your name, it was a busy weekend!) came to check in when we arrived and was super friendly and great to chat to. The property itself was immaculate. Super clean, well supplied and very well suited to 12 guests. Anything we could have asked for was there from outdoor fans/BBQ/outdoor fridge, to clean bedding and towels, kitchen equipment and firemaking materials. It really felt like they have thought of everything. The weather was hot and it was so nice to walk through the pristine gardens and hop in the lake to cool down. I, unfortunately, could not get our boat down, but it is a perfect spot to moor during your stay. We didn't make it to the wineries but will have to come back again! The brewery in town was great for lunch. Nearby IGA had everything else we needed. I cannot think of a single complaint. Everything was perfect. A huge thank you to Sandra and her family for helping to make my birthday so special. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The location on the house was fantastic able to moor boat and jet ski in front of property. Facilities and amenities in house were amazing, extremely clean, well furnished and couldn’t speak highly enough of property owner.

Sandra was excellent. She even offered to let us stay later on our check out day. Beautiful property with relaxing vibes.

Such a perfect family getaway for 6 adults and 4 kids! The house had everything we need, we cooked on the bbq both nights (and for breakfasts), relaxed on the lawn by the lake, and slept soundly at night! We appreciated the extra touches from Sandra and family, highly recommend!

A lovely house in a wonderful location right on the lake. Everything was very comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed the fire pit down by the lake and lounging in the sun on the outdoor patio.

The property is a great place to relax with a group of friends, cook some fantastic meals in the well equipped kitchen and eat them together in the dining room. Beds were clean, warm and comfortable. It's an easy drive into town or to nearby wineries.

We had a fantastic stay over the Easter weekend. 2 family’s and 5 kids. The room layout was great. Kids in the bunk room and parents had some separation. The outdoor alfresco opening onto the amazing lawn and down to the lake was where we had every meal. A big bonus for the kids was Fox the horse being there to see and pat every morning. Immaculate house and beautiful lush garden all fronting the rowing course on Lake Nagambie which we considered safe for kids water play. We will be back. Thankyou Sandra and Andrew

Sandra was so helpful with all of our questions and the house was immaculate. It was also great that the house had so many basics there such as cleaning products, toiletries, bbq tools, food wraps and dishwashing items, etc. We were from interstate and it was so good not having to buy these things as we wouldn’t be able to take them back on the plane. I highly recommend this lovely accommodation and location with warm, friendly hosts. Thank you for our memorable stay.

We rented the property for our rowing crew who were competing in the Nationals - awesome spot, great location and view of the last stages of the race course. It was such a great base for our crew and families. Thanks Sandra and Andrew for such a great place.

The view was great, the outside dining was good too. Bunk beds for children I think. Other beds really soft.

This was our second stay here! Walking in on day one, felt like home. Sandra is an amazing host, the house is immaculate and accommodates our large girls group perfectly. An annual catch up that means so much to us and to have found a space to accommodate us all that is so beautiful is a huge win. The beds are comfy, the supplies are beyond generous. An enjoyable walk into town and only a short drive to michelton winery. Everything about this place ticks all the boxes for the perfect reunion. Thanks again Sandra for opening your home to us. We are already looking forward to next year.

This property was beautiful and very clean. It was was close to town but still peaceful and secluded, our own piece of paradise. The hosts were lovely and friendly leaving us some essential items in the fridge and cupboard; including chocolate. Definitely will stay again.

Just enjoyed a lovely weekend-fantastic being on the lake with the firepit! House was very clean and comfortable. Great outdoor spaces. House is as described. We appreciated the fragrant homegrown roses and the brekkie provisions. Loved being able to get use the kayaks and SUP’s straight from the backyard and watch the school rowers training!

The house was perfect for our extended family wedding accommodation. The house was spotlessly clean, beds were comfortable and loved the stocked pantry and flowers. Highly recommend, would definitely come back. Thank You

The house and grounds were beautifully presented and sparkling clean. We appreciated the nice touches of breakfast supplies, fresh flowers and lovely soap in each bathroom. We all felt the beds were incredibly comfortable and all had quality linen. The location to Nagambie is perfect, being only just over 1 kilometre from the town. The garden sweeps down to the lake and we were supplied with plenty of wood for the fire pit and a great BBQ and outdoor area. We all would have enjoyed more time at this lovely property and location.

It had everything we needed for a family holiday both inside and outside of the house. Being right on the lake was great but it also close to the town of Nagambie for anything else we needed. This property is perfectly positioned to accommodate groups for weddings at nearby wineries- it delivers even more than expected. Great beds, quaint country kitchen that is fully equipped, lovely outlook, sensational alfresco area, swimming access and a warm welcome. Prompt and efficient communication and genuine understanding during Covid uncertainty- most appreciated. After four attempts we finally nailed a date and Barong did not disappoint. Thanks.
