Home owner always accessible and extremely kind. Spacious accommodations. Great view!

Beautiful views, we saw a moose, deer, and a hawk. Quick near by access to restaurants, shopping lakes and water sports plus entrance to RMNP. This house is very clean, comfortable beds, fully equipped with everything you need for your getaway. If I was traveling that way again I would stay here again. The house was beautiful and spacious, lots of room for all 7 of us, plus our small dog. The kitchen was well stocked so we were able to fix meals every night rather than spend money going to restaurants. The deck around 2 sides of the house let us sit and enjoy the wonderful views of the lake and mountains. We even saw a bear!! Laurie was a great host and answered our questions very timely. I only have 2 suggestions: a) grill tools (was very difficult grilling burgers without a proper grill spatula); and b) new mattresses (the mattresses on all 4 beds were extremely hard so we all had trouble sleeping and woke up with sore backs and hips). Other than that, the house was GREAT and was less than a mile from Grand Lake, which made it very easy to spend the days in town and we also were very close to Rocky Mountain National Park. It only took about 1 1/2 hours to go through the Park and over to Estes Park for a day as well. Absolutely loved Grand Lake!!

We had a wonderful stay in Grand Lake. We were able to enjoy the views of Shadow Mountain Lake, were only minutes away from town in Grand Lake, and a few miles from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Laurie communicated all the important information well and made checkin and checkout a breeze.

This property has beautiful views of Shadow Mountain Lake with Grand Lake in the distance. The deck is just as charming and inviting as the pictures. Great layout - great kitchen. Owner was kind and has great communication. Convenient location- short drive into downtown Grand Lake. Our biggest issue was that we all (teens too) found the beds uncomfortable making for difficulty sleeping. Not having AC was okay until the last night when temps got into the 90's during the day. Some simple fans would help move air flow in the rooms that the ceiling fans aren't in.

We had a wonderful time in Grand Lake. Laurie was a wonderful host and great communicator. We sat on the porch with family each night overlooking the beautiful Lake laughing. We hiked, biked to town, and paddled on the Lake during the day! On July 4th, we rented a Pontoon boat close by and then all came home cooked dinner and watched the best views of the fireworks. Going to GL each summer is our new family tradition. 🙏😀.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cabin. The view over Shadow Mountain Lake was so nice with our morning coffee and evening cocktail. Fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds with all the extras that we needed. Being so close to the town of Grand Lake was an added bonus so we could visit this quaint town. It was a nice break from from the Dallas heat.

Lovely hikes nearby (Adams Falls, Monarch Lake, ...). Much to explore in Grand Lake. Hot Sorings nearby. Host was kind and responsive. Dogs are welcome. Neighbors are very nice. An occasional Moose wanders by. Keep dogs on leash and use flashlight at night.

The property is conveniently located and has incredible views. from the wraparound balcony or the spacious windows in the main living area. There is a nice layout of rooms that allowed space/privacy.

This is a unique owner. She makes sure you are well provisioned for your stay. She accommodates large dogs. Super clean! She even changes the bed spreads and table runners to reflect the seasons. 5 minutes to the National Park and downtown Grand Lake.

Wonderful stay. Photos are not as good as the actual property. Clean, spacious and nice, well kept furniture and finishes. Super easy access to Grand Lake and RMNP. We would definately stay here again.

The property was amazingly clean. The views are spectacular. The owner is flexible, reachable and cares. The kitchen has everything you need. The wifi was good. It is within 5 minutes of Grand Lake town, the marina, the local market and Rocky Mountain National Park. We have 2 large dogs that were kept on the porch by a baby gate (a lot of places make you kennel them while you are gone and there are no outdoor options). It is a bit noisy due to the traffic on the highway below but other things more than make up for that. Our teen granddaughters wished we were closer to town because we wouldn't let them walk to town on the highway. But all in all, it was perfect for us and we are going back in a couple of months.

The house has a pretty nice layout and views. Only slightly odd thing was the other King bed is in a room over the garage. It's a great large room, we called it the retreat, but you have to go outside, across the breezeway to get into the main house to use the restroom. So we had to flip a quarter between the two families of which couple got that room. The couple that stayed said the upside was it was super quiet away from all the kids!

The house was clean and spacious. We loved the location, as it was convenient to downtown Grand Lake and RMNP west entrance. The kitchen and outdoor grill were nice for cooking many meals. We loved the wrap around porch and covered area! Thank you for a great 2020 vacation!

Very good overall

House was very clean and orderly. Laurie was responsive to emails. Location was great with a view of the lake yet quiet. No more than 15 mins to the park,trails and ATV rides.

Just as the pictures showed, great views, large property with lots of storage areas and very clean.

A group of cousins from different parts of the USA met in Grand Lake for a 5 day reuinion. Laurie's home was a great place for us to gather. Each couple had a nice bedroom of their own with a bathroom convient to 3 of the bedrooms. We were dissapointed to find the suite over the garage did not have it's own bath. It was not clear to me in the listing where the 3rd bathroom was located. It was on the ground floor near the entry and garage. The ceiling fans in the main living area and master bedroom were very helpful. It would be helpful to have either ceiling fans or portable fans in the other bedrooms as it did get warm and stuffy a couple of nights when the days were warmer. It would also be nice to have a way to get cross ventilation in the bedrooms on those warm nights which I realize there probably aren't many. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything needed to make meals for the group. The views of the lakes and mountains were great from the large windows in the living area! The outside deck was so nice we spent lots of time sitting, visiting, and enjoying the view. A great house for a group of adults or family with children we would stay there again if back in the area. My family and I enjoyed this property. The decks and view are wonderful. The kitchen was good for cooking, large and supplied well. The entire house was comfortable and well maintained. The location just out of town and up on a hill were perfect. It is in a nice neighborhood.

Beautiful home , beautiful view, close to hiking ,fishing,kayaking sailing, atv,s..we would defiantly stay there again.

This beautiful two-story home with loft over the garage is a wonderful way to enjoy the view over Shadow Mountain reservoir and Grand Lake! Comfortably slept 7 (we had one extra who slept on the couch - also comfortable). On-prem washer/dryer was a nice advantage. Walk to Grand Lake is easy, even uphill on return. Grand Lake is a special place with lots to do and see. We will return!

Our family including a 2 month old and a 2 year old decided on Grand Lake Colorado for our summer vacation. Laurie’s home was fabulous. The pictures do not do it justice. The property was close to town, right across from the lake with fabulous views. The home looks new and very comfortable. We were 7 total and there was room for more. Laurie checked in with us on arrival to ensure we had everything we needed. She was a lovely hostess.

Our family of 6 spent 5 nights at this wonderful home and it was just as advertised. The views are absolutely amazing and you are immersed in the beauty of Grand Lake and all it has to offer. The house was clean and provided enough space for all 6 of us and then some. The kitchen has everything you need for food prep and cooking your favorite meals. We also used the outside grill, which allowed for taking in the wonderful views. Laurie was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. We had an absolutely great time and have already recommended it to a couple of our friends. Highly recommended - would definitely stay there again!

Laurie’s house is amazing! We had a group of seven and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen has everything we needed to make meals. The windows in the dining and living area give you amazing views even while inside the home. The deck is huge and the view is spectacular. It’s a great place to have your morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Laurie was easy to contact with any questions and was very helpful. RMNP is just a short drive and there is plenty to do around Grand Lake. I would definitely stay here again. We loved it!

We can't say enough things about our stay in Grand Lake at Laurie's house. She was communicative before our arrival, answered a ton of questions, and the check in/checkout process is super easy. The house is a great setup for groups and plenty of space. The house is easy to get to, great views and super clean. We would definitely stay again.

Nice location & beautiful view of the lake with this cabin. Cabin is comfortable with big fluffy towels & nice sheets. The owner is easy to work with. My only complaint is the road noise from the deck, but you do get used to it after seeing the beautiful view.
