The communication was excellent and the whole process seamless.
The house was perfect for our group with two beds downstairs with a bathroom and two up with a bathroom.
Plenty of space and very well equipped. BUT make sure you take your own supplies. E.g. tea, coffee, extra toilet paper, tea towels etc. as this is not supplied. Great location - short drive to Matakana and easy flat walk to beach.

Thanks so much for having us, we had a girls weekend at this lovely bach and had a great time! Communication with the owner was quick and helpful, and the bach itself is amazing, very comfortable, lovely beds, and fully equipped with beach toys and deck furniture for enjoying the outdoors! The outdoor shower was great after a swim too. We would love. To come back, it was hard to leave!!

Easy walk to beach and local Omaha Beach café, well stocked Superette, cute gift store, golf course and fresh fruit ice cream ! Close to great restaurants, Matakana village with cool cinema, provincial parks and real kiwi birds! Would definitely stay here again - it’s our second time

Staying at Omaha Beachhouse was simply wonderful. The location is fantastic, and the house perfect! We found it very clean and very well-equipped with everything one could have asked for. A fantastic place for a quiet weekend away by the beach with all the trimmings! Many thanks for having us, we loved staying with you and would recommend this place anytime!

My five adult girls and I loved this house..we celebrated a 40th birthday.
With 4 bedrooms and two big bathrooms on two levels..awesome for 6 females. Open plan living very enjoyable.
As it was end of August (still winter) we would have appreciated some sources of heating in bathrooms and upstairs bedrooms
(There was one big heater in one of the two downstairs bedrooms) but; we enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here in June, two families of four and the house was perfect for us. Well appointed, good kitchen facilities and very comfortable. The gas fire was cosy on a cold weekend! Close to beach, playground and tennis court nearby. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve stayed at this property 10 years ago with family- rented for convenience to family. The fact the property didnt supply linen caused me great concern as I’d been travelling in a campervan for 6 weeks from Australia, family from Canada, & Kaka Point. Kitchen was well equipped and house very comfortable - however no sheets or towels was a huge issue- the linen/doona supplied are well worn and one had blood stains on it (bunk room)… grateful for additional blankets supplied- property walking distance to beach-and close to Matakana beach and other beautiful locations - having declared the linen issue - and speaking to other people renting properties
in Omaha it appears this is quite common- would definitely recommend this property however with your own linen…

This Bach exceeded our expectations. There was enough room for all our family. It was clean and organized with everything we needed. The garage full of outdoor equipment, bikes, body boards and more made the quality of our trip a blast! Looking forward to our next trip!

We had to postpone our weekend away due to Covid lock downs but finally got to go and stay - Janet was very helpful and allowed us to re-schedule. We had a fantastic weekend away at this beautiful Bach and beach. Highly recommend the Bach and Janet. Definitely going to re-book

Beautiful comfortable warm house
It was very cozy at the house. Very close to the beautiful beach. House got everything you need just no bed sheets which could be handful. Definitely would recommend this house.

Very comfortable house
We really enjoyed the house and its location. The house is roomy, with plenty of space for adults and little ones to be in. It was warm and well equipped, with good instructions for the house facilities. It is a nice walk to the beach which is beautiful. We loved the easy access to the market at Matakana. Overall a very nice stay. Thanks to Janet for the good communications.

We stayed for a family wedding in Matakana. Great location. Loved the beach. Lovely accommodation. March is a great time to stay in the area. Would have preferred option to have linen.

Wonderful property, great location, very clean and comfortable. Really well set up with lots of plates, glasses etc. Plenty of activity options available too: bikes, boogie boards etc. A really enjoyable stay. Only downside was no wifi, and this impacted options for work while there (especially younger family members) - I guess we should have checked this rather than having assumed it was available.

Beautiful and clean. Great summer house
The house was like brand new, lovely and clean. Said one of the bedrooms would have sofa bed/ futon but it didn't slept in a very uncomfortable single.But it was very cold, no hearing upstairs .
We will come back in summer.

Very comfortable & family friendly
The photos for this property underplay the space and how nice it is. We were four adults and three young kids and there was plenty of space, with one family upstairs and the other downstairs. Very nice and well-equipped kitchen, large dining table and lounge space for the kids to play. Weather permitting the outside area would be great for kids too. Very close walk to the beach too. Only thing to note is we were glad to have brought our own bathroom and kitchen essentials, including coffee, tea and milk. Would happily stay again.

Great clean house
Lovely and spacious, love all the decks to follow the sun, such a warm fireplace, loads of kitchen utensils and plates, comfy beds and lots of warm blankets

Great place for mixed family group
Happily stay here again - very clean & comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed with plenty of utensils, crockery, serving ware and we found plenty of blankets/pillows. Fireplace was extremely efficient at heating the living area quickly.

Nice spaces but things like the vacuum cleaner wasn't working and the place wasn't well cleaned.
