Had a wonderful weekend in this magical cabin. There are so many special little touches to make your stay comfortable and special. Beautiful area for hiking and enjoying nature. Enjoyed the evenings eating on deck and watching the fireflies. And at night there were a million stars in the sky with the Milky Way shining bright. Laura the host was great and would highly recommend this special cabin under the stars. Monica

I’ve stayed in plenty of privately owned rentals and a variety of hotels and this one was the cleanest I’ve stayed in! It is in a quiet place but not too far off the beaten path. It was the perfect weekend getaway before school started back. I definitely look forward to coming back!

We came to the area because it's known to be free of light pollution and good for star gazing. We assumed we would have to go to a nearby Buffalo River campground to see that. Instead, we were delighted to find there were acres of clearing in front of the cabin's deck which meant we didn't have to go anywhere to spend three nights of enjoying God's creation in the skies.

We love this wonderful cabin! The scenery & solitude are always amazing!! Look forward to our next trip!!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It had everything we needed and more, plus lots of nice extra touches. Comminication with Laura was great. The cabin was very clean and the location is great for hiking around and floating the Buffalo river. We also really enjoyed having breakfast on the porch.

Wonderful stay at Starlight canin!

Before even arriving Laura was so kind and communicative, you won’t find a better host! I love some adventure so I had no specific destination in mind besides somewhere near the Buffalo and something about this little cabin really caught my eye. It was a different area than I have stayed in and in talking to Laura she suggested several different places as I enjoy a good hike. She also has a helpful guide in the cabin that we referenced several times. We ended up doing Indian Rock House Trail at Buffalo Point and it was one of my favorite hikes I have done so if you enjoy hiking I suggest you check it out. (Way back up is serious) We also enjoyed Kaylees Stop just a mile or two down highway 14 for a beautiful outlook spot and some shaved ice. I have been to lots of places and done lots of things but this was a very special trip that would not have been the same without Laura. The cabin was clean and beautiful and we will certainly be back!

Great place to get away and have fun. This was our second stay and we loved it just as much as the first time. Our kids loved hanging out with the neighbors hound dogs that came to vist.

The owners take good care of their cabin. Very clean. Well stocked kitchen and even provided treats and chocolate kisses!!! Could not be more pleased.

We loved the stars, tree frogs,lightenbugs, and the neighbors dog was sweet and made us miss our fur babies the cheesecake was good thank you so much for letting us rent your cozy home away from home we enjoyed it tremendously and made our Anniversary special.

We saw amazing wildlife from the porch of the cabin. The pictures of the cabin does not do it justice. It’s absolutely beautiful! My family and I will be back! This little cabin is perfect! They have everything you need for a nice getaway to the river. All you need to bring is food! It’s in the perfect location to get to many of the Buffalo River sites. We can’t wait to get back!

Absolutely wonderful. My girlfriend and I loved it. I work long stretches without a day off and could feel my stress leaving me from the minute we got there. All the small things inevitably forgotten were there. We loved it! Will definitely be back!

This place is awesome! The owners were very accommodating and provided everything we needed. The cabin was so clean and private. We loved our getaway to the Buffalo River!

Starlight Cabin is a great option for most! Catches: if you are large (say, taller than 5'10'') the loft and bathroom may be too intimate for your comfort. I am 6 feet tall and bumped my head every time on the ceiling in the loft with the 'bedroom.' Also, you are definitely OFF THE GRID. We have Sprint phones and got abysmal coverage in the whole area regardless of whether we were on top of the ridges or in the valleys. Other than those issues, it's a beautiful and comfortable, well-equipped cabin! Lots of perks including homemade soap and organic eggs from the owners!

Everything was exceptional! The owners are not just “owners”, Laura truly takes time to be an excellent host! The location is serene, the cabin was very clean and there were so many personal touches when we arrived! We’d love to visit again.

This cabin came a advertised clean, great location, perfect view. The dogs that came up were a pleasant kind animal that loved to play. Would stay here again in a heartbeat this place is priced right and the hosts have you all ready to just relax... Thanks again for the wonderful stay.

Loved the location, the isolation and ability to totally relax was a major plus for us.The cabin was very clean and well stocked,and the bed was a welcome surprise very comfortable. Will definitely return!

Fireflies, Stars, Ozark View, neighboring cute Hound Dogs--everything you would expect and more from the Starlight Cabin. :) The Owners have paid much attention to detail so you don't have to do anything but enjoy!!!! Very sweet experience! especially because everything is there and placed for ease, relaxation and comfort. The Owners make you feel welcome with a personal touch!
