We enjoyed our stay. Condo is a great little place to make memories. AC works great and we had enough room to get some sleep at night and hit the beach again. Jim is a great host and great with communication.

Just a couple of things that would have been nice while we were there, sheets for the hide a bed couch, roll away was broken and didn't have sheets either. The sliding patio doors did not lock, and there were only x2 towels and wash cloths for the entire week. Other than that, it was a good time, not as close to the beach, you have to drive there.

The condo had a nice view of the canal. Easy to walk to the beach and restaurant. Tennis & Pickle ball courts are available. The king size bed was wonderful!! I found two great books to read also. We felt safe in our surroundings also. Very close to all kinds of shopping needs.

The condo was very nice and the place was safe and secure. I would have prefer the beach closer and please let the host know that he needs to send directions because the condo is very hard to find. We were lost for over 20 minutes finally the guard gave us a map with directions. The numbers on the buildings are all messed up and it is hard to find but all in all it was great

Nice condo on the canal. Easy access to the beautiful beach. Small problem was quickly taken care of by property owner. Birds, fish, turtles galore just below your balcony. Very nice, reasonably priced.

There were a few minor issues when we first arrived but the owner promptly had them taken care of. The condo itself is in a great area and is actually more spacious than it looks in the pictures. My girlfriend and I both truly enjoyed our stay and will be looking to see if it's available the next time we take a trip to Destin.

Jim’s place is amazing and we had a wonderful time. Thanks SO much Jim and we look forward to next year if you’ll have us again. It was a home away from home. The neighbors from Michigan were very nice and helpful on local amenities, restaurants, etc.

We had a nice time staying at this place in Destin! The condo is small but was just what we needed for a few days. We really enjoyed the amenities of the complex - on the canal, golf, pickleball, tennis, pools, etc. The TV only had cable so fortunately we had a firestick to use - keep this in mind if you'll want to watch movies and such while there. The kitchen materials were sufficient for our stay and a good set of dishes. The pans in the kitchen were definitely older so a little more sticky. Plenty of amenities right nearby just in case you need to run out for something (walmart, target, publix, etc.).

Owner was very friendly and stayed in communication with me all the way til arrival. Budget friendly and great condominium area with 5 pools and public beach access across the street. We celebrated our 10 yr wedding anniversary here and it was perfect!

Peaceful retreat
My husband and I had a lovely time here and enjoyed a short getaway. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was very comfortable.

Best ever
We loved it! Perfect for small family. Very affordable too! I loved that we could do laundry right there. I cooked every night so such a great condo. I appreciate Jim for keeping it affordable

Destin is now our new destination!
Sandpiper Cove is a beautiful gated community. The unit is nice and the deck overlooking the canal is a bonus. Bed is comfortable. We did use the owners golf clubs/balls and enjoyed the par 3 course. You will need your own beach towels. The beach is private and chair rentals are $28 for 4 hours, $38 for a full day. Crab Island is a must! Most beautiful clear green water! The restaurant on the property- Louisiana Lagniappe is wonderful. We are planning on coming back next year to stay at this same unit. Thanks Jim!

Week long getaway
I love staying at Sandpiper Cove. It's such a great location and a great resort. Jim was incredibly responsive and I had everything that I needed in the condo.

Wonderful spot!
The unit and the facility are beautiful, comfortable, and very accommodating! Even our interactions with other folks at the pools, private beach, and tennis courts were very pleasant. I would definitely recommend it and will likely book another stay in the future!

Beautiful property on the canel. Our only complaint is it did not have a Murphy bed to sleep 5 as stated on the listing.

Winter vacation
The property was nice. Kitchen was lacking in dish towels. Bath tub slippery for showers. I purchased a non slip bath mat for it. Needs some handrails for older people. Some towel racks in bath broken.

Great Stay!
This absolutely was a great place to stay for our family vacation! This was a very secure, clean and easy access to the beach and to a the rest of Destin for shopping, eating or entertainment! Looking forward to our next stay at Sandpiper Cove Destin Florida.

Great Value & Location
While we were here on business we did not get to take advantage of the beach and amenities. The unit was an awesome value and the complex is conveniently located. Was one of the most comfortable beds we have encountered at any rental (even luxury hotels). I would not hesitate to rent this unit again. Thank you, Jim!

Love this condo!
We had the best time at Sandpiper Cove! We have been staying at Sandpiper Cove for 8 years. Our condo owner stopped renting out his condo this year, so we found this one. We absolutely loved it! It had everything we needed, even extra beach stuff (chairs, umbrella, sand toys, etc) in the closet. We LOVED the view of the canal from the balcony. We saw ducks, fish, and herons! The king sized bed was comfortable! We enjoyed the benefit of having a washer and dryer in the condo as well. We are already booked again for next summer!

Destin in May
This property exceeded my expectations. End unit overlooking the canal. Large, clean, very useable. New tile floors were great ! Had everything including beach chairs and toys. Private beach with good parking. Simple bar and grill on the beach. Close to everything. Highly recommend !

2 small things marred my stay. 1-the front door deadbolt was totally broken...key was useless in it. Wouldn't turn from the outside (worked from the inside), so I couldn't lock securely all my stuff if I was gone.2-internet the first day/night was horrible. 2-3 minutes to pull up a web page...sometimes it'd time out it was so slow.I unplugged the router, left it for 15 minutes, and plugged back in. That totally fixed it. Not sure why I had to do that, but it worked. If I didn't know how to do that stuff, it'd be terribly frustrating, in this connected world we live in.Final comment: there were several damaged items when I arrived. One lampshade was broken. There was a screen on one of the windows that was damaged too.

Great place to stay!
Family had a blast. Loved being able to sit on the balcony and overlook the canal. Easy access to the beach right across the street. Only negatives, the fold out bed didn’t work so we bought an air mattress and cleanliness could have been a little better but nothing serious. Overall a wonderful experience. Thank you!!
