Had a great stay at the home -- beautiful property, centrally located. Would definitely come back.

Our stay at Carraig Dale Cottage was very nice. The property is centrally located and was only a short drive to any of the towns we hoped to visit. The outdoor space was lovely, though we didn't use it much, given the cold weather. There were only two negatives to the property: 1) a slight odor in the double/double bedroom and bathroom that we could not identify but was definitely noticeable, and 2) the technology was rather challenging. The wifi signal was weak, the TV/Roku instructions weren't very clear, etc. Not a big deal for many people but would be challenging to try to work while there or entertain kids.

The property was extremely clean and tidy! Well maintained and up to date. Unfortunately there are hidden charges including the need to bring your own sheets and towels or an additional charged to you. And no coffee provided. Also the hefty security deposit is held for an additional two weeks after our stay ended.

My husband and I, along with our 2 senior dogs, spent 3 nights at this lovely cottage. We really liked the quiet, country setting. Check in was super easy, and Martina contacted us the day before with all the details. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was fully stocked (except for paper towel). The "welcome" bottle of wine was a nice surprise upon arrival. The beds and sofas were clean and very comfy. The washer/dryer are nice (just bring your own laundry soap). The bathrooms were clean, no problem with hot water or water pressure. We had a great time and I'd definately book this cottage again !! Only downside was no satelite TV (if you have kids and the weather is crappy). This was not a big deal for us, we used Netflix one night when it rained. Also, there was a faint odor in the bedroom with 2 beds. Not sure if it was coming from the attached laundry room or the mound septic system with all the rain we had gotten prior to our visit. Not horrible, but something was causing a slight smell and we couldnt figure out from where. Since we slept in another bedroom, we only noticed it when doing a load of laundry. Again, no huge deal for us but maybe something that could be looked into. Those little things aside, I still give this rental 5 stars !!! Definitely room for 8. Property is very nice and not very far from surrounding towns. Would book again if heading to Door County.

Property is magnificent. Martina was so easy to get a hold of and answered all my questions. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Door County.

My family and I stayed and really enjoyed it! We brought our dogs too which we loved. The kitchen was well stocked...the beds were comfortable..and the bathrooms were great for a large family trip. We would definitely stay again! Highly recommend

We had such a great time in Door County, and Martina's house was one of the main reasons why. Spotless, great layout, lots of open space outside. Not super-close to anything, but reasonably close to everything. This is the ONLY place we'll stay when we go to Door County--book it!

We loved our stay even though it was only a couple days. The home was comfortable and clean and the yard was great with mature trees for shade.

We had a great time at this property. It is clean and cozy. Martina did an excellent job communicating and making sure things were all set for our stay. It is perfectly located within 15 minutes to many of the towns. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are visiting Door County.

Our family rented to of Martina's houses, Carraig Mor and Carraig Dale. Carraig Mor was right downtown and we could walk to everything. The garden was just starting to bloom, very beautiful. Carraig Dale was about 2 miles outside Baileys Harbor and was also a fantastic property. Both properties were very clean and Martina was super helpful during our weekend stay. Would definitely rent again.

We had a great time at Martina's cottage. The place is charming and clean, with a fully stocked kitchen. Would definitely recommend! Make sure you remember to bring your own linens and such, as those are not provided. Also the place is a bit hard to find (we used Google Maps and it took us to a different location) but look for the big barn they have next to the cottage.

Had a great time bicycling with friends. The house was great and it was fun to all stay together. Many laughs and wonderful memories.

Good house in a very private and quite location with good access to both bay and lake communities of Door Cty. My only complaint is the kitchen wasn't stocked with things like paper towels, paper napkins, etc... I've come to expect them in VRBO's. It's a niggly complaint, otherwise great! Would I stay there again? Absolutley... and I'd pack a roll of Bounty!

My original concern was the distance from Bailey's Harbor but it was insignificant and the house was perfect for our needs. Everything we could possibly need was there. The furnishings were top rate. My son gave me excellent reviews on how the bedroom looked and I had nothing to do with it. All of the kitchen appliances were perfect. I also appreciate the support I received from the owners concerning our inability to use the TV. Since we were involved in the jazz camp, we really didn't need the TV. There's too much to do in Door County! This is the best rental I have ever had.

We absolutely loved this cottage. This rental met and surpassed my expectations. Kids still talk about the weeks we spent at Carraig Dale. Ideal location for visiting all our favorite places in Fish Creek, Ephraim, Baileys Harbor, etc. Kids enjoyed flying kites & exploring the large property. We enjoyed biking around the rural location and having adventures in the refined, farm-like setting. I loved the wifi!!!!, chef's kitchen and all the updated appliances. I miss my quiet time drinking coffee & reading on the deck with a gorgeous view of the surrounding countryside. Could actually imagine living on a farm after staying here!

Very clean and charmingly appointed house. Well stocked and conveniently located to take in all Door County has to offer. Out the door and down a short block to the marina. The heart of the house is the kitchen and livingroom with bedrooms and bathrooms on either side.

We came to Carraig Dale seeking a nice getaway and were very happy with the accommodations. The home is newer construction and is spacious enough for two families. Our group had 4 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs and we all were pretty comfortable. The wrap around deck with sound system was great--we could use Pandora on the television and have it play outside or inside. What struck me was the natural beauty. It's easy to get wrapped up in the tourist stuff on the bay side of Door County, but here you are far enough away that you can see every star in the sky on a cloudless night and walks along the country road south of the house are really amazing. That said, the house is 5-10 minutes away from Bailey's Harbor and 15 minutes from the bay side. It's very convenient to just about anywhere you want to go. Martina and her staff were very accommodating and responsive as well when we needed linens and towels. And if you have dogs, you can't ask for more. While there is no fence (and you wouldn't want one here) the dogs have so much room to run and play. We just had a great, memorable experience.

Very well maintained and functional home. Big windows let in wonderful light. Loved the large deck for sitting in the sun. Wonderful country views. Well maintained lawn and home. Nicely decorated with just the right amount of items to feel homey but not cluttered. Very convenient location to Fish Creek, Egg Harbor and Bailey's Harbor. Will visit again

I stayed in this home while attending a wedding in Door County at the end of June. This home is beautifully appointed and set up to live comfortably. The central common space is great for gathering and because all of the bedrooms come off of the common space it gives it a cozy communal feel. It even has wifi for those who may not be able to drop out completely while on vacation. The appliances and other amenities are very nice and the home was immaculate and well maintained. We loved using the wrap around porch for both the morning and the evening sun. Centrally located to both Fish Creek, Egg Harbor, and Bailey's Harbor it's a bit of a drive to both (10-15 minutes), but all are manageable distances. The country setting is tranquil, quiet, and dark at night. Great for getting a good night's rest. There is a lot of grassy space around the house for relaxing and playing outside as well. I would recommend this property for people looking to visit the area while staying out of the congestion of the main towns.

The house was tastefully decorated and pleasant. It is situated in the countryside outside Bailey's Harbor just off the highway that crosses the peninsula to Fish Creek. An atmospheric old barn on the property adds to the experience.
