Thomas, the owner, was very welcoming, helpful and funny. The hostel has everything you need: Information, laundry, good equipped kitchen... The rooms are comfortable, air conditioned and have warm water. We would definetly come back!

The laundry we did, wasn't really clean and didn't smell good. But it was dry.

The man who received us was very kind and the rooms were clean as were the bathrooms

The kitchen and bedroom are full of mosquitos, so when cooking and sleeping we were stung at least 10 times even with the usage of a mosquito net. There are bars nearby which u can hear the music off and the wifi did not work at all in our room

Hostel owner was very friendly and helpful! He let us store our luggage outside of our check in & check out times. He also did a great job of keeping the hostel nice and clean.

The host was really nice. You can rent a bike from him (cheap) There is a “little” gym.

The beach directly in Puerto Viejo isn’t the prettiest. We recommend to go a little bit further down the coast

Small but clean room with good kitchen en showers. The host didn’t really speak English but was very helpful. The panted walls are very creative.

Only one block from Salsa Brava, easy to reach everything in town on foot or bicycle. Seemed secure with gates closed at night, great value for the price. Very comfortable mattress, was surprised actually.

Kitchen is large but with few appliances; with the addition of a blender, strainer, and coffee maker, it would be an even better set up for guests.

Decent value for money in the region. My room was equipped with both fan and aircon and a mosquito net, which was good. The kitchen was rather basic but functional and nice to have. Showers and bathrooms clean. The host was helpful and answered any questions I had. You could also rent decent bicycles from the premises, which was handy.

Located next to a swampy area, which was a bit smelly some days. Luckily not in the night time - or at least the smell did not come into the rooms. Could do with better lighting - the corridor outside my door was so dark, it was hard to find the keyhole. On Friday night a neighbouring establishment had the music on really loud and until very late. This could be heard in the room extremely well, since there is no sound proofing to speak of. No breakfast option during the time I was staying.

A lovely Casa to stay , rooms are kept very clean wi5 good fans , showers have hot water too, they is a kitchen to cook you own food if you may wish but a short walk away from the main street with plenty of places to eat, the beach nearby is good for swimming, It is also a short walk away from the bus stop an thank you again Weldon , the owners son who came with us to purchase our tickets as our Spainish is not that good, thank you Weldon .
