Villa Carranza is a great place to relax, enjoy the views and swim the days away. The house was very nice, and well laid out for our family. The pool was wonderful, especially in the summer heat. I highly recommend this home for a great family vacation.

The house was just what we were looking for for our family vacation. Our two Grandsons spent most of their time in the pool and we were very comfortable in the covered area. Both were very enjoyable. The beds were comfortable and the house was fully stocked. The house manager was very kind and a pleasure to meet..

We had the most wonderful time at Villa Carranza. Rosa, the property manager met us at the house to show us around. She is so very kind, helpful and quick to respond as are the owners, John and Karen. The house and yard were immaculate and beautiful. Even better than the photos. The view from the back yard was stunning! We spent so much time enjoying the wonderful pool, hot tub, and fire pit. The house had everything we needed. The neighborhood is so pretty and quiet with nearby walking trails alongside the mountains. It was just a short drive to Old Town La Quinta, restaurants, shops and golf courses. We will return to this slice of paradise!

This was our second visit to this amazing property. Property is amazingly clean and well stocked. You feel like you are home. Actually better than house. The house has every amenity you could wish for. The outdoors are amazing. Great view of the mountains. Though the weather was cooler this visit and we couldn’t use pool, we were able to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit on a regular basis. The owner John and property manager Rosa treat you like family and are always available to assist with any issue or concerns. Can’t wait to return.

Villa Carranza is a wonderful spot to make home in La Quinta. The owners, John and Karen are excellent communicators and are also available to answer questions quickly and make recommendations on local restaurants and things to do. Their home is clean, tidy, and perfect for an evening in, a day on the patio, or making a huge meal for your family. The natural light, clean landscaping and hot tub made the trip special. Close to nearby and esteemed golf courses, this is a perfect golf getaway. The check in process with Rosa was also as easy as it comes... she was wonderful, kind, and very efficient. We will be staying again for sure!

Rosa was fantastic, warm kind and a generous spirit. The property is very relaxing, well maintained and the owners make the stay very easy with great amenities in kitchen. My only suggestion is to have rugs in the bathroom are to avoid slippage. Best, -Cara

Stayed as a family of 4 for a week. Communication with John was excellent. Check-in process was easy with Rosa, who was incredibly kind and gracious. Property was clean and comfortable. Lots of towels and other basic supplies were available. Pool was large with lots of room to play as a family. Hiking trails nearby; great to get a little exercise while enjoying the beautiful views. Lots of shopping and great restaurants nearby. John reached out a few days into our stay to check in with us, and offered some great places to eat, which we really appreciated. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful holiday!

John and Karen's home was well equipped for our family holiday. We all enjoyed the pool and the amenities in the home. It would be fun to return sometime.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this property for the second time. We loved every minute of it. Beautiful house, big pool, and wonderful service from the property owner and manager. Will definitely be coming back!

Our group was two middle-aged couples who spent one week at this property. The house sits on a double lot, and though located on a corner, it is extremely quiet. Communication with the owner John is excellent. Booking and other inquiries were all responded to quickly. That also goes for the local property contact Rosa. She is excellent. As others have mentioned, the property is very clean and well organized. The labels throughout the house are a nice touch and provide clear instructions. The kitchen is well stocked. Both the master suite and junior suite are very nice and have ample room. We really enjoyed the outdoor area. The patio cover with fan, misters, nice landscaping. and refreshing pool all create a very pleasant outdoor space. The garage is large, clean and provides ample room for two vehicles. The location is in a quiet neighborhood and only a few minutes to Old Town La Quinta. We certainly hope to return to Villa Carranza for one of our future visits to the desert!

This property was by far one of the nicest and cleanest I've ever stayed in! So well organized and everything you would need for a stay. Great communication with the owners too. There were 5 of us for a girls weekend/Stagecoach weekend. There was plenty of room for all of us and the pool and spa were clean and warm! The neighborhood is so peaceful it made it easy to relax. The 5 of us are already talking about when we will come back! Do yourselves a favor and book this house!

The property was nothing short of spectacular. All our wants and needs were satisfied. Seem-less check-in with manager, great pool and patio, blow-ups for the pool, best BBQ I've ever used, outdoor fan and mister took the edge of 35 degree days, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of rooms for our group, comfy beds and other furniture. TV's were great (but we didn't watch that much) We will be asking to come again. Thanks so much to John and Karen.

My wife and I stayed here two weeks and had a lovely stay. Home is very clean and can accomodate a good sized family. Clear instructions are provided for all home accessories. Pool and hot tub and outside grill set up was perfect for us. Proximity to walking trails a big plus as well. We would give Villa Carranza an A+ rating on all counts and would definitely return the next time we are in town.

We were a group of 2 to 3 couples in our 70s. The Pros: one of the cleanest VRBOs we’ve ever stayed in, even the garage and grounds. Extremely well laid out with multiple areas to hang out Kitchen has everything you need and we appreciated the staples left for cooking. The beds were comfortable and linens exceptionally soft. There are directions for how to use most appliances, including showers and lights. We appreciated all the night lights inside and out. The pool was warm enough for swimming with just the solar blanket on the 75 degrees and up days. The location was great for long easy hikes with nice Mountain View’s along the Bear Creek trail and close to many wonderful restaurants with outdoor seating. Cons: Absolutely none. FYI the twin beds in the one bedroom are standard twin size, not XL as needed by some of the adults in our group. Also, if you’re hoping to eat at some of the more popular restaurants you will need to get reservations 4 to 5 days ahead of time. 🙁 We would highly recommend this well cared for lovely home.

Perfectly located in a quiet environment, safe and very convenient kitchen, we all enjoyed our 1 week stay in this house. For the cook in me, the kitchen was well equipped and we were impressed by the signs and instructions on how to use and properly store the equipment.

This home is extremely well managed by the property owner and manager. Everything was a dream - making the booking, the communications in between, orientation to the property, checking in etc. The house is very well managed, well stocked and extremely clean. Looks just like in the pictures. The heated pool and hot tub were very welcome during our Christmas holiday. We stayed here with two boys and grandparents. Each of us had plush and comfortable rooms, access to enough towels, covers, blankets etc. the house is situated in a good neighborhood and we had access to really good hiking by the mountains just a short walk away. The grill and dining table outside and the pool were well utilized. We loved the home and it’s many comforts and enjoyed our vacation tremendously here. A must stay is you are in the Palm Springs area ! A great home. Owner was Uber responsive and the manager very friendly. Highly recommend !

This was our second visit to Villa Carranza. We love this property! The home, pool and spa are beautifully maintained with stunning views of the mountains all around. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything a chef could need. Rosa the housekeeper is lovely—she met us at check in and both Rosa and John the owner checked in with us periodically to make sure that we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to be back!

We had a fantastic time at Villa Carranza; the kids enjoyed the pool, spending hours a day in it. We loved the shaded patio to watch them from (in between time in the pool too). The house is amazing. We wanted somewhere we could have a secluded week; we couldn’t have picked a better place. Great kitchen, and a big grill outside made cooking simple, and there were lots of good food options nearby if we didn’t feel like cooking.

First time using Vrbo, and it did not disappoint. Both the owner John and the manager Rosa were responsive and helpful throughout the trip. The property really had everything we needed. Beautiful and warm pool, Roku in every room, open layout, mist near pool. 5 minute drive to downtown La Quinta and about 12-15 minutes to Indian Wells restaurants. Would definitely stay at this wonderful house again!

Villa Carranza was a gem of a vacation rental. It was immaculately clean and well appointed. There were so many little, thoughtful touches throughout the property. The neighborhood is very quiet and low-key. It felt like we were in our own private resort. John was so responsive when we had questions. We enjoyed the pool immensely and the 40 ft. length allowed us to do some lap swimming. I would highly recommend this home and would give it 10 stars if I could!

What a lovely yard, house and venue for a hot pool week in the desert. Things heated up early so we used the pool into the evening with the family. It is just perfect. And the house is well equipped and very inviting!!

We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Carranza for 10 nights in February. We were a family or three adults and three children and there was plenty of space for all. The online pictures are beautiful, but the real deal surpassed our expectations. The home was pristine and well stocked. John and Rosa were very attentive and the communication was seamless every step of the way. We had a great vacation and look forward to staying here again soon!

This property was perfect for our week away with 2 teens. By far the most well-appointed and organized home we have ever stayed in. Everything you need is right there and carefully labeled and explained. The pool and spa are large and lovely. The house is clean and comfortable and the location can’t be beat. We highly recommend and hope to return!
