One of the best VRBO stays ever, this carriage house is great for a short or long stay! Stocked with everything you’d need, updated and immaculate, easy access to Kirkland or the 405, location was fantastic too. The rain didn’t allow for backyard use as I’d hoped, but it was roomy inside too. Owners left “ local knowledge” list of things to do, restaurants, which was very useful even though I knew the area from years ago. We will be back! Thank you!!

We stayed for three weeks and have already planned to return for another three weeks in the Fall. My husband is in treatment for cancer and appreciated the comfort of this property. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, has lots of light and is just a perfect place to cozy up after a day at Fred Hutchinson. Jill and Rick are very responsive and kind.

My husband usually finds something to complain about but this time he couldn’t find a thing. Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, private balcony, perfect location. Definitely a place we will come back to.

Our stay at the carriage house was very comfortable, relaxing and I felt a bit pampered. The location is very quiet but easy to get to downtown or trails for walking and biking. I would recommend Rick and Jill’s little gem.

Lovely rental unit. It is well stocked with all the necessities. The hosts are helpful. The rental unit is in a quiet neighborhood. I wish it was closer to downtown Kirkland. The unit is still walking distance and a very easy drive to town.

This is our second visit at the carriage house and the fourth at properties managed by this host. The carriage house was immaculate upon our arrival and continues to impress with a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable living spaces, and a bright, airy bathroom. Communication with Jill have always been easy. Definitely a wonderful place for a couple or a solo traveler.

The property was in the perfect location for attending a wedding at a winery in Woodinville. The listing is accurate, and the place is well maintained in a quiet neighborhood. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Kirkland area.

Norkirk Cottage
We couldn’t have been happier with this cute cottage. The location was in a quiet area and was close to town. All of the amenities were amazing from the comfy bedding to the heated bathroom floor. The host took great pride in decorating and making the space feel like a home away from home. She even had snacks that were much appreciated after a long day of traveling. I would highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed?

The best place I've stayed in!
This place was so comfortable and quiet. You can tell it was furnished and equipped by people who understand comfortable homes. Excellent extras. I slept so well in the quality bed. I was able to walk everywhere in Kirkland.

This is a lovely carriage house in a quiet neighborhood, probably the most comfortable that we've stay in. Spaces are well laid out and decorated. Both the kitchen and bathroom are well stocked with the essentials - no running out of clean towels in the bathroom or searching for cookware or utensils in the kitchen. We'll definitely be returning.

Cozy cottage
We loved this little cottage that was built above the owner's garage. It's adorable and so cozy. It has everything you might need and the finishes are are so nice. The hosts add special touches like the fridge has stocked water and sparkling water. We are definitely coming back. It's in a great location.

Immaculate lovely space
The apartment was roomy, well designed, and decorated well. Comfortable bed. It is bright and cheery with lots of windows. Kitchen is well equipped. Outdoor space is very nice.
Communication with owners was easy. Our only down side to the stay was that a house is being built next door and there is construction noise.

Wonderful hospitality!
The property itself was beautiful and the perfect place to work from home for a week while we were waiting to see our families. The floors in the bathroom are heated! But beyond the property, Jill & Rick went above and beyond to make the place amazing. They provided all the basics we needed to cook, clean, etc. during the week, and had amenities we didn’t even expect, like bathrobes. And even beyond that, we had asked for an early check in to watch the Seahawks game and Jill not only graciously allowed us to do that, when we arrived the game was already queued up and playing on the TV! All of these touches made us feel so comfortable and made our time super enjoyable.

Wonderful!
We stayed at this great property prior to our daughter's wedding and it exceeded our high expectations. The nicely decorated unit was very clean and comfortable and the backyard space was beautifully landscaped and great for enjoying the outdoors. The owners were very friendly and accommodating especially when we needed last minute modifications to our stay. We have stayed at many VRBOs and I would have to say that Jill and Rick were the best, by far. Thank you and we will be back.

Absolutely perfect cottage!
This is one of the best vacation rentals we’ve stayed, but not only for the cleanliness, beautiful decor, well stocked kitchen, elegant bedroom and bathroom, but also for the exceptional service and thoughtful touches. We arrived on Valentine’s Day and we were greeted with a gorgeous cottage, a bottle of wine, chocolates, snacks and bottled water/sodas. So very much appreciated and never expected!
The photos can’t do it justice. When I return to Seattle, my desire is to return here.

Outstanding Accommodations
This was our first stay in a VRBO and this property exceeded all expectations that we had. This home is beautifully decorated and appointed with just about anything you would need for a stay away from home. It is very inviting and we felt very comfortable while staying there. There were even snacks on the kitchen counter and drinks in the frig. Definitely an A list property!

Elegant, Quiet Retreat
This carriage house is located in very quiet, tree-lined area of Kirkland. It's beautifully decorated and everything is new and in good working order. The bed is very comfortable. Excellent lighting and skylights make it light and bright. Fully equipped kitchen. Fluffy robes. Jill and Rick are excellent hosts. Highly recommend this place.

Exceeded expectations
Usually when you view properties in these websites the photos are the best possible angles, lighting and staging so we always expect less than what we actually see on the web. Not so this property.
This place is charming, clean with lovely furnishings and linens. It’s roomy enough to feel like you’re at home. WiFi is great and the hosts are attentive and accommodating. We will return to Kirkland again soon. Thank you!

Awesome weekend in Seattle
The property was beautiful, in a great location for us in Kirkland, and the property owners were available and responsive for anything we needed - although we didn't have any requests as everything we needed / wanted was already there! I would highly recommend this location and we hope to visit again the next time we are in Seattle.
