This was everything we had hoped for. We stayed here for our 20th anniversary and it was fantastic! We were hoping to spot some whales and weren’t disappointed. We saw 3 whales within five minutes of walking in and whales every day we were there. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Easy, convenient booking. Property as described. Beautiful views. Whales viewed from our balcony every day. Rec center clean and quiet. Property very clean. Easy access to hiway. Restaurants short drive south to Depoe Bay or Newport, north to Lincoln City. We will certainty return and stay at same property.

So relaxing and such breathtaking views. We’ve stayed at the Village at North Point several times but what a delight to see Orca whales. The resident gray whales are a treat in and of themselves but the Orcas were fun to watch!!

Incredible! we stayed for five days over spring break and felt like we were staying at a fancy resort! The master bedroom is beyond amazing. Why would you go anywhere else? We ordered our food ,picked it up and ate looking at the Wonderful view. Thank you so much, we’ll be back!

All arrangements were done on line. Door was difficult to open. Beds were comfy. There was a trundle not mentioned in listing. Nice balcony. The club house was nice. Pool water was chilly. Very quiet complex. Ran out of hot water. Nice furnishings. The colors are very serene and relaxing

The property was extremely clean. We were allowed to check in a little bit early which was great due to rain. The pool area was awesome although I wish the pool was a bitter warmer. The bedding and mattress in master is due for an upgrade. The mattress had a major dent on the window side and fitted sheets came completely undone each night. I felt a bit unsafe that there was no lock or chain on the front door that could not be unlocked using the key from outside. It really spooked me that anyone could make a key copy and walk in at any time. Adult size pool towels would be a great addition - recommend you bring your own. The ones on site are very small and do not absorb water. The kitchen is beautiful and laundry was helpful. Watched the waves crash maybe 50’ off the balcony.

Very well equipped Condo with killer ocean wave views. We literally stayed in the condo except for a short shopping trip. The crashing waves are hypnotizing.

The location and view were amazing! The condo was well appointed - It is disappointing that the condo overall does not facilitate recycling. We enjoyed our stay and communication was great. Looking forward to returning!

This condo is beautiful! It is well maintained, spacious and warm - and the location... oh my! You feel like the waves may crash onto your patio. Great pool and hot tub, walking distance to town and the rental/check-in/check-out process was seamless. 5 stars!

The property was more spacious and beautiful than expected. We were right on the water and we saw whales every single day we were there!

Beautiful views, great balcony, very comfortable beds. The toilet broke in the 2nd bathroom the first night. They came out and check on it, came back the next day at 9:00 AM to fix. Everything was great after that.

Beautiful property in a great location (close to Lincoln City and Newport) and near the heart of Depoe Bay. We spent hours just watching the waves and even spotted a few whales from the unit. We were unable to use the pool and workout room due to reservations being required two days in advance on out two night stay which was a bit disappointing (Covid restrictions) but the property manager was hopeful that this would be lifted by the end of the month.

Everything about our stay could not have been better! This property is exactly as listed. If we ever get back to this area we will definitely stay in this great and centrally located property.

The condo is magnificent, large and spacious with an amazing view. You can see the waves crashing right below the balcony. I would stay here again!

This place was beautiful! The ocean views were stunning, we seen whales every day. It was hard to leave the view to go and see other things during the day. Would definitely recommend. Perfect Place for 2 couples or a family .

Amazing View! The property was clean and great location for a relaxed get away!

Everything was wonderful about this property and location! We didn't have access to the hot tub or pool, but we completely understand the restriction due to COVID. With the views from living space, bedroom & deck, nothing more was really needed. However, the very large jetted bath was completely enjoyable and more than made up for the hot tub. The only issue we ran into (and it was minor) is that we weren't able to check in until almost 5 because the cleaners were still there when we arrived. They were very pleasant and apologetic, and we chalked it up to just starting the rental process back up after a long COVID break. We will definitely be back!

If I could, I'd give this beautiful condo TEN STARS. We walked in and didn't want to leave. It's comfortably furnished, is spacious, has a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry room and spacious bathrooms. As great as all of that is, the location and views are astounding. The ocean is feet away from the balcony, breaking on a rocky point right below. You can see it in all it's glory from the living room and the master bedroom. Or you can be on the balcony and have the ocean at your feet. We saw many whales during our stay, and much closer than the folks who were on whale watching boats. In fact, with the doors/windows open, we could HEAR the whales surface. Its best described as a mesmerizing place. To sleep in the master bedroom with its expansive views and ocean sounds was indescribable. We are already planning another visit. There is not one negative to this condo!

Love the condo and it’s layout which was exactly as advertised on Vacation Rental By Owner web site. The first thing that grabs you when you open the door is the view of the ocean out the picture windows in the living room and master bedroom, WOW! The condo was clean and supplied well with kitchen appliances and dishes and pots and pans. All vital information was sent to my email address prior to my arrival such as the key lockbox code. Any issues I had such a the burned out light bulb in the closet of the master bedroom, I didn’t report. The juvenile resident whales were entertaining us daily right out our window balcony. The only glitch we had is the front door to the clubhouse was locked and we and about 10 other guests from 3 other condos couldn’t gain access. We called the onsite managers phone and got no response other than to say he was away and if it was an emergency to call the rental agency. No one there really considered it an emergency, so we didn’t bother them. We will rent this place again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent vacation in Depoe Bay, OR! The Oregon coast was lovely, even in the middle of May! We traveled a large majority of the Oregon coastline while we were there, and it was truly amazing at every turn. We found the Whaler’s Suite at the Village at North Pointe to be the perfect location for our vacation. The suite was wonderfully maintained, very relaxing, and the view was exquisite. We couldn’t have asked for more. The ocean waves were mesmerizing! We will most definitely be returning. Thank you for making this a great trip!

We enjoyed the home very much. There were two couples in our group and we cooked our Thanksgiving meal there. The condo was a good size for our size group. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything we needed. The condo is beautiful, with a gorgeous, large, convenient kitchen that let 3 of us work side-by-side to prepare our meal. The master bedroom is beautiful and truly a "suite," and the 2nd bedroom/bathroom is nice too. The place had a GORGEOUS view of the ocean waves crashing on the rocks. Couldn't ask for more there. The place was clean and even better than the pictures.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful condo before our Christmas holiday began. It was our first visit in The Whalers Suite and first stay in Depoe Bay. I could find no fault whatsoever with this place, our stay was perfect. The view from the living room and bedroom is breathtaking and the 2 sided fire place was a wonderful detail. Everything was well stocked and very clean. It was very quiet, excellent TV choices (my husband didn't have to miss any of his football games :) Huge private deck and rather enormous kitchen also. It is within easy and safe walking distance from the shops and restaurants in Depoe Bay also. We will definitely be back again.
