2 friends and their daughters stayed here. Quiet street and location was perfect. Walking distance to Maldon. House was very sweet… clearly a lot of history. Had everything we needed and more. Essentials and some treats on arrival were very appreciated. Hosts were helpful and easy to deal with.

Beautiful stay in a lovely old miners cottage. Warm cosy with little touches of hospitality. So enjoyable we stayed in for the night. Loved the fireplace and electric blankets on the bed and general ambience if the place. So relaxing. Thank you x

We had the most relaxing and comfortable stay at this Historic Cottage. Everything was clean and decorated beautifully. It is perfect for families or couples. It is the little things like bread, wine, butter and eggs and bacon ready for you upon arrival. We loved it and will recommend to all.

Our experience at Herrmann's Cottage was absolutely delightful. The cottage was clean, warm and exuded an abundance of charm. Its prime location, just a stone's throw away from Maldon's enchanting town centre, added to its appeal. Maldon itself is a picturesque gem, adorned with charming cafes, enticing shops, and a rich historical ambiance. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for ensuring that our weekend getaway was nothing short of wonderful.

We enjoyed our stay in this cute and comfortable cottage. Everything was lovely. Communication from Brett and Millie was excellent.

Lovely location and garden
We really like old cottages and gardens so this suited us well. If you need to use the internet please note there is no WiFi and no free Wifi in Maldon (other than The Kangaroo pub). We had to spend time driving back and forth to Castlemaine rather than enjoying the cottage and Maldon

Lovely stay with our Mums and nice variety of provisions including wine, bacon and eggs and juice.
Good place to stay for the price and was good value considering the historic significance of the home. Cutlery and glasses were not very clean.

Charming and comfortable
The photos really don’t do this place justice - it’s such a sweet cottage with a beautiful rambling cottage garden. It is so well-appointed - absolutely everything we needed was catered for, including extras (what a lovely touch to leave food and wine for us). Beds were comfy and the place was spotless. We’d definitely stay again. Thank you!

The cottage is very cute. It’s has three full bedrooms with separate bathroom and toilet. The supplies were an extra bonus.

Delightful Miners Cottage in Maldon
It was a delight to stay at Herrmann's Cottage in Maldon.
The cottage had everything we needed - location, clean, outdoors area, comfortable beds, etc. Stove / oven small but that was not a problem. Communication with owner / manager was excellent. Will definitely be back.

Maldon cottage stay
Lovely little cottage. Comfortable beds. Nice and warm. We had a great fire every night but also there were heaters. I had a yummy bath with really hot water. There were some cupcakes, wine and bread waiting for us when we arrived. Reasonably priced.

Cute Miners Cottage
This miners cottage is really adorable and cute. As expected it is pretty rustic but has everything you need including a great shower with lots of hot water. It was super hot when we visited but we still enjoyed the lovely garden and the air con worked well and we were still really comfortable. Really appreciated the extra gifts of wine, chocs and breakfast provisions. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Making Memories
We have stayed in this fabulous little cottage for the last 5 years, and each time we get so excited as we drive up to create more fantastic memories here. The cottage is always clean and tidy, and the fire is ready to light,with chocolates and wine waiting for us. Breakfast is always delish with fresh eggs & bacon in the fridge. One of our most favourite places to stay. Karen , Dave , Phil & Moz.
