This property is in a great location with a short walk to the beach. The property manager Ocean Reef was very quick to satisfy an issue that we experienced. There is plenty of room for your family to spread out and be able to be comfortable. The only complaint was the bugs and the weird smell in the game room/guest house. If you have family planning to sleep in the guest house just be prepared for an odd smell. Overall It was a week of great memories and we did enjoy the stay.

We have stayed in Emerald Waters several times. So to say the very least, we love the location. The overall layout of this home is great. On our first night, the master bed frame (previously replaced) had broken into splinters of wood. I was forced to sleep in the mattress on the floor. Management was able to get someone out that Sunday afternoon. It was Sunday when we noticed the dryer was not working. I placed a call to maintenance. I was able to speak to someone. They sent out someone who then needed to get in touch with a vendor. Each time I called Ocean Reef, they would say “ let me follow up and I promise to get back to you”. It was literally a different person each time. Each time all follow up communication was initiated by me. The dryer was not replaced until WEDNESDAY. We would was the clothes, hang them out to dry on the fence and furniture ( tacky), just to have them get soaked from the morning deluge. So frustrating. The garage smelled of mildew. The bunk beds needed to be dusted or wiped down. There was tags and debris of sorts around the perimeters. My in laws stayed in the guest house and would hear creepy voices and the sound of random doors slamming ( I know very creepy). Overall, great location, short walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. We will not be staying here again.

Overall it was a good property. There was enough space and the pool was a big hit with the kids. Proximity to the beach and food places was great as well. The house does need a deep cleaning. All the light fixtures and furniture in the bedrooms had a layer of dust. The bunk beds should be vacuumed as there was sand when we got there. The front & sliding door still had finger prints when we arrived. The kitchen cabinets could use a good cleaning as there was a layer of grim on the doors and handles. We also found a few cockroaches in the garage and in one of the bathrooms in the main house upstairs. While it is a garage, I think it should be swept out after each stay as there were dead bugs all over.

In a great location and loved the layout and design of the property. Short walk to the beach and loved having the private pool. Cable and internet down for a good portion of the week, many smaller maintenance issues, main floor toilet did not work, but overall cleanliness and upkeep of the property was poor. Cockroach’s were all throughout the game room and garage area. Weird smell in game room and guest house.
