Our family chose Lake Martin as this year’s end of Summer vacation. The property is perfectly situated on a quiet cove with a lovely view. We rented a pontoon from the marina that’s a short drive away. We loved the lily pad and kayaks provided, swimming off the dock and hanging out on the fabulous porch with the outdoor tv. The property was perfect for our family of 4. It is clean and stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

This cabin was PERFECT for our family getaway! Our family (kids and grandkids included) range from 61 years to 7 months. Every person had a blast. We loved how close it was to the water, the “toys” we had (Lilly Pad and paddle boat) to play with, and how well the cabin was furnished. No complaints!!! Hope to stay there again. Super-gracious hosts!!!

What a terrific mini-vacay! The home is in a quiet cove, and had everything we wanted or needed and more. The house was clean, the beds and other furniture were comfortable and the the location is gorgeous - what more could one ask? The owners were incredibly quick to respond to any question or concern and made us feel very welcome. They went “above and beyond” to make sure we were comfortable and we appreciated it. The kitchen was well-outfitted and we prepared our own meals but there is a restaurant or two at different areas of the lake or a little town within a twenty-minute drive. There’s plenty to keep you entertained at the lake but for us, it offered the perfect opportunity to just chill. We would have stayed longer if we could have but we are already planning a repeat visit!

Our family had a great time. Your home was well equipped and the kids had a blast. The outside deck was a favorite for all of us. The lily pad and kayaks were also a big hit for the kids. Thank you for sharing your home. Thank you - we will be back!

We wanted location, simple and clean. This was it. Very close to the marina by land or boat. Great communication with the owner. Dock was nice and the fish were biting around it. Very comfortable beds. Thanks for a great week!

In town for a high school fishing tournament but spent most of our time enjoying this property! We loved being tucked away in a quiet cove for fishing, our kids loved having the paddle boat and kayaks to play in. Only 10-15 min from town, but we enjoyed grilling out on the deck and staying near the water. Only complaint wasn’t associated with the home itself or the owners so I’ll keep it to myself 🙂 would definitely return!

Four old Aggie fans stayed at this lake cabin for the Auburn football weekend. The place was clean and well furnished. We all had a comfortable bed and had a wonderful time. Just wish the Aggies had played better. About a thirty minute drive to Auburn, we were happy with the location and would rent again. Thanks for a nice accommodation.

We totally enjoyed this great lake house! We loved the community, took walks, paddle boarded, relaxing naps on the deck. Perfect long weekend. Great listing! We will be back soon!

The property was wonderful and had all of the amenities we needed. It is on a great lakefront location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The easy access to the lake from the house and the beautiful view were awesome. The place is clean and is a typical lake house to enhance your experience. Our communication with the host was very easy and helpful, too. The only suggestions would be to replace the beds in the bedroom with the A/C unit (very soft and mushy) and to replace the cushions on the porch furniture because the porch is used a lot. Otherwise, a great rental and we will likely come again!

We had the best time staying here. My kids absolutely loved being right there on the water with the Kayaks and paddle boat. Mr Jon and Mrs Kelly we’re wonderful to work with. Will definitely be booking again!!!

This property is in a great location on the lake, Marina just around the corner. Boat ramp very near. Enjoy big water rides. Quiet neighborhood. Great kitchen w/awesome big table, nice size rooms, 2 bathrooms are great. Inside den area & Fun porch w/view of lake for TV & family time together. Only limited parking but we planned ahead. Dock at lake is small but good swimming water. We took our boat out and swam off it for fun most the time. We are now planning a fall Football weekend there for sure. (2) Big thumbs up for this place. Great owners.

This is our second year to stay at Dockside. The location is perfect for us - close to family as well as convenient to town.

We had an amazing week! The property is just as described, very well maintained and so peaceful! Our teenagers loved having all the fun water toys and having a dock. We rented a pontoon boat from lakeside marina. The house is big enough we all had our own space, but has a very cozy feel to it. Would highly recommend and will be renting again.

We had a relaxing family weekend celebrating our son’s graduation.

My 12-year old son and I booked this property for a spring trip to Lake Martin and it was absolutely perfect. The property is tucked away at the end of a quiet cove. We rented a boat at Lakeside Marina, and it was close enough for us to walk over to the Marina, then drive the boat back to the dock. The property itself was fantastic! A lot of care has been taken to modernize the property, but while maintaining all the charm of the original lakeside home. I had a few questions of Kelly, and she responded within minutes each time. My son and I enjoyed the fireplace, fishing from the dock, driving the boat around, and just being at the lake to spend time together for a great boys weekend. Perfect trip, and thank you Kelly for being such a wonderful host! We will be back, next time with the entire family.

Property was great, easy check in and out. Nice dock and close to a lot of restaurants on the lake. Would definitely stay again!

My grown sons and wive/girlfriend were able to meet us for the Auburn football game. They were traveling from Birmingham and South Carolina. We came from Mobile. Such a great spot to meet and easy to get to game.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful Lake Home. Everything was wonderful from the communication with the owners to ease of getting in to the comfort of the beds and all the amenities. Awsome place to stay.

This house is great. It’s super clean and was just right for our family. We have teenagers and a five year old. Everyone had a good time on the kayaks and paddle boat. Jump right off the dock into the lake! Our big boys enjoyed fishing and we got to spend some time with our Auburn student as well. Took just over 30 minutes to get to campus. After the excitement of the football game it was great to come back and relax at the lake house. Can’t wait to come back!

We spent a 3 1/2 week vacation at this property using it as a base of operations für visiting family nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed the location and the house. Stores and restaurants in Alex City and Dadeville are only a short drive away. Kelly and Jon were great to work with. We will consider coming back.

Our family made some of the most amazing memories in this house! It was in the most perfect location for everything. The owners were always available and very friendly. They helped us with everything from places to eat and fun places to visit on the lake! Would definitely recommend this house and will be back for sure!!

We had an awesome and much needed relaxing girls weekend! There were 5 adults and plenty of room for us all and more. The location and property could have not accommodated us better. The views were beautiful and relaxing. We absolutely loved the house and all of its amenities. Will definitely keep this on my list of places to return!! We had planned on 6 of us staying at this great lakeside home but illness kept our son and his family from enjoying it with us....and they have the boat. But all was not lost, my wife and I enjoyed this quiet cove even though we could not explore Lake Martin. We will try again another time. Highly recommend this property.
