Bliss By The Sea is perfectly located between Pacific Grove and Monterey (Cannery Row), a short walk to both. The property is very homey, professionally managed and well apportioned. It was perfect for out stay, and we would recommend it anyone looking for similar.

What an amazing property! The house was fantastic and just as described. The home was prepared so well for our stay! Felt like we were home the minute we arrived! Easy walk to beach and to town. Great location!

We thought the house was great and met our needs. The kitchen was well equipped. The house had great instructions for the electronics and had lights labeled. The beds were very comfortable. It was unseasonably hot when we arrived and the house was 82 degrees. It would have been nice to know from the property manager that it didnt have AC. Once we found out the next day we realized that we needed to sleep with the windows open which is fine but there were no screens so some bugs made it into the house. Sanctuary said our Property Manager would get us some temporary screens but that did not occur and we never heard from him. It cooled off by Wed so it was fine. We did love the house but would have appreciated some communication from the Property Manager

The house is very clean, well-maintained, and very well stocked. Great location, close to the aquarium and other attractions. The decor is also very attractive. It's clear that the management pays attention to details. Definitely the best rental we've ever stayed at.

We enjoyed our stay at Bliss by the Sea! The house was immaculate, very nicely decorated, and well stocked with linens and all the amenities we would need for our family of four. The location was perfect with an easy drive to Carmel and Monterey areas. One suggestion might be to add two accent chairs in the master bedroom. It would be nice to have a place to sit other than on the bed while enjoying the views. The only negative comments we have is the sofa and two chairs in the living room were not comfortable for our family. We are of average height & weight - there wasn't much cushion or a place to lean back. Also there was dog poop in the backyard that had not been cleaned up prior to our arrival and there were large spider webs on the deck. This didn't affect our stay much as it was too chilly to sit outside. Sanctuary Vacation Rentals were top notch and easy to work with. The house manager made sure our needs were met and even followed up with an email and text message. Would definitely recommend this property and we will be returning next year!

You truly feel like a welcomed guest in a good friend's home. Well-maintained. Lots of thought went into the decor with a beach-side theme. We enjoyed preparing meals in the kitchen as there is room for several cooks and most cooking implements you would have at your personal home, including a seasoned cast iron skillet! For four women from Texas, a cast iron skillet is a must!! I do recommend reviewing the guest instructions book upon arrival. Many of your questions about appliances are answered there (like the dishwasher). One suggestion might be to have a notebook with local restaurant menus for guests. I truly hope to return one day.

We absolutely loved staying here. It is such a charming house, beautifully decorated, plenty spacious for our family of six, and close to everything (within walking distance to the beach and you can see the ocean from the master bedroom windows). On our early morning walks, we saw deer strolling through the neighborhoods and lots of whales and sea otters in the water! It is just minutes from Monterey and Carmel, and Pacific Grove is equally as charming. We wish we could have stayed longer and dream of returning! The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because the kitchen windows were pretty dirty (obviously hadn't been cleaned before our arrival) and there were several spider webs in the kitchen and in a few other places throughout the house that we had to get rid of, but everything else was sparkling clean. There was also a car that was permanently parked directly out front of the house which was an annoyance more than anything else, but didn't really affect our stay at all. We very much appreciated many of the details that went into making our stay comfortable, such as cookies, cheese and crackers upon our arrival, bathrobes for most of us (would have appreciated six instead of just four), games for our family to play, movies, etc. The house has everything you will possibly need! I recommend without hesitation! Can't wait to someday return.

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay here. The location is fantastic and the accommodations were perfect. You have all of the necessary modern amenities wrapped up in a big bow. Would love to come back.

Bliss by the Sea was a fantastic property for my family of 4. The location is great with easy access to Monterey and Carmel. The house was immaculate, and the kitchen was very well stocked with cooking equipment and basic pantry items. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
