This house and property was such a breath of fresh air. It had freshly snowed and the river was beautiful. My group of friends enjoyed the outside fire pit while snowing out, and played many games whilst the fireplace was blazing inside. Highly recommend this house for group getaways or family sabbaths. We celebrated my sisters 40th birthday with family and friends. The house was clean, beautiful and cozy. Communication and effort from the host was excellent and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at this property , house was clean and it has a enough space for big families. We love it.

We changed some wedding plans pretty last minute and booked this VRBO to have our sweet, intimate, and BEAUTIFUL wedding. Everything was on site so no one had to drive to and from for different parts of the day. We spent the whole weekend here with our wedding party which was a BLAST. Our wedding was just around 50 people and the owner was so accommodating to make sure we could get everything we needed. In all honesty, I was very weary about some of the deposits/fees we had to pay due to holding the event, but let me assure you: The owner was so wonderful and supportive through my questions and concerns. Our guests couldn't stop raving about this wonderful property. So much so, our friends/family that stayed in the VRBO all want to come back again. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, have the most GORGEOUS scenery, and have some intimate moments with your friends/family, this is the place to go.

It was a beautiful and relaxing stay

Beautiful home on 20 acres next to the river with views of Mt. Adams. Large enough for our big extended family. The owner was very helpful in accommodating our big group. The kitchen is well stocked but it did get a little crowded. Fortunately there is a grill and tons of outdoor seating. The bedrooms and beds were really comfortable, and the 5 bathrooms were enough for our needs. Our family enjoyed exploring the nearby Columbia River Gorge and Lower Lewis Falls. We loved relaxing on the porch in the evenings and spending time together.

This house is beautiful! The home itself is clean and incredibly well maintained. This is a perfect house for a big group with lots of places to sit and hang out together, both inside and out! Would highly recommend to anyone.

We had a family gathering - 12 adults from spots near and far - for 5 nights - and it was perfect! Lots of appropriate spaces for small and large conversations, group meal prep and group activities. Conversations with the host were cheerful, helpful and with prompt replies. Highly recommended!

We stayed over the weekend at this beautiful and spacious property. The owner keeps this place in great shape. I left something in the house and the owner shipped it to me free of charge. I would recommend this house to everybody. Thanks for an amazing stay.

My husband and I stayed here with our family for our wedding celebration, and it did not disappoint! Beautiful scenery and comfortable house. Michael is easy to work with and assisted us with needed chairs/tables. We had a wonderful weekend and a beautiful wedding day that we’ll never forget! Highly recommend! Only suggestion is to have an inventory of all kitchen utensils/supplies on hand so it’s easy to go through at the end of what was ours and what belongs to the house.

We had a fantastic stay at the property and enjoyed the spacious main living space, the ease of cooking big meals in the kitchen, and the beautiful outdoor spaces around the house. The two bedroom levels provided an easy way to split up our group so that everyone had the accommodations they needed. The host was quick to respond when we could not locate extra sheets and towels. Will return!

Everything was gr8 about this house. The view was spectacular. There were enough rooms for everyone. The only suggestion of mine is that the refigerator needs to be fixed. Other than that i had a great experience .

We just returned from a two night stay at Micheal's home the weekend was amazing. In planning the stay .I sent multiple messages and Michael's response was alway prompt and informative. He is a very gracious and thoughtful host. As for the house, it is simply wonderful. We had plenty of space for our large group. The kitchen is well stocked and has really all that you would need. The rooms were all very clean and the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed all of the outdoor gathering spaces. Especially the fire pit! There is just something so magical to have a fire next to the creek and under a beautiful starry sky. We highly recommend this home and hope to someday make it back to Trout Lake!

We held a very small wedding here, and it was absolutely perfect. Michael was an incredibly helpful and responsive host, and helped arrange everything with the house for our weekend. It's truly a stunning house and property that has been so well maintained! The perfect getaway spot.

It was wonderful staying here. The house and property were all beautiful and we weren't hurting for any amenity which wasn't already available. It was easy getting in touch and working with the owner, and I would prefer to stay here if I'm in the area again.

The house was perfect for our family and friends to get out of the city for a week. Lots of space for the kids to explore outside. We would definitely stay again.

When searching for a place to stay in the Trout Lake area I came across this property and knew that although it was much larger than we needed it was a perfect retreat for our family. It was great to be a short drive from the snow parks. The house and grounds are beautiful! Owner responded quickly to all inquiries which was much appreciated.
